Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker earned himself a larger role in the offense after scoring three touchdowns in Week 11. He followed up that performance with 42 rushing yards on 12 attempts during last week's loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Now, it's unclear what kind of role Tucker is going to have with lead back Bucky Irving returning this weekend. The 24-year-old figures to still have a role, but this could turn into a three-back committee with Rachaad White involved as well. The Bucs figure to limit Irving during his first game back in the mix. Tucker should remain involved, but shouldn't be viewed as anything more than a low-end flex option for Week 13.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers getting healthy at the running back position, specifically Bucky Irving (shoulder/foot) appearing to be suiting up in Week 13 against th Arizona Cardinals, Sean Tucker's value is heading in the wrong direction after his Week 11 explosion in Buffalo where he scored 33 fantasy points (half PPR) with 106 rushing yards, 34 receivng yards, and three touchdowns. While he figures to get still a few carries with Irving back in the lineup, Rachaad White still figures to mix in as well, making this a three-headed backfield that could get a bit messy, specifically for White and Tucker. Irving is the clear top back, as he was a second-round pick in most fantasy drafts in August, and if he's fully healthy, he will get a majority of the snaps. Something to note, offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard did speak on behalf of Irving's expected volume earlier in the week, saying it will be similar to how the team handled wide receiver Chris Godwin in his return against the Rams last week, where Godwin played 36% of the snaps. Regardless, even at a 35-40% snap share for Irving, it still trickles into Tucker's playing time, diminishing his fantasy value. Because of Tucker's recent success, he is still worth a bench spot while Irving gets ramped up, but if we see Irving take over the backfield in Week 13 or 14, Tucker can be dropped to waivers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker is coming off a fantastic performance against the Buffalo Bills. Last week, Tucker rushed 19 times for 106 yards and scored two touchdowns in the loss. He also hauled in two receptions for 34 yards and an additional score through the air. All signs are pointing to Tucker once again having a large role in the backfield during the Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Lead back Bucky Irving (shoulder, toe) remains out for at least one more week. Tucker seems to have the edge over Rachaad White after that 100-plus yard performance. The expectation is that Tucker sees enough snaps to warrant high-end RB3 value for this weekend.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini writes that viewers should expect to see a "heavy dose" of Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker in his team's Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football. The 24-year-old had a breakout game in Week 11, recording 140 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills. With Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, toe) out for at least one more week, Tucker and Rachaad White will handle the backfield work for Tampa Bay in Week 12. Based on Tucker's recent performance and Russini's reporting, it appears that White may be fading into more of a complementary role. Tucker profiles as a high-end RB3/flex option for fantasy managers in a tough matchup against the Rams.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker is coming off a monster game against the Buffalo Bills last week. Tucker rushed 19 times for 106 yards with two touchdowns in the loss. He also added two receptions for 34 yards and an additional score through the air. The expectation is that Tucker is going to have a larger role in the offense going forward. The Bucs remain without Bucky Irving (shoulder, toe) for at least one more game. Tucker figures to continue splitting up the carries with Rachaad White in the backfield. However, Tucker might've surpassed White on the depth chart after that huge performance last week. Tucker should almost certainly have a larger role against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. If he plays anything like he did last week, fantasy managers should be able to get RB2 value out of him.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard said that running back Sean Tucker's workload has been going up each week as he continues to play well, and Grizzard "expects that to continue," according to Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com. Tucker played a season-high 44% of the offensive snaps in last week's loss to the Buffalo Bills and carried the ball a season-high 19 times for 106 yards and two rushing touchdowns. The 24-year-old Syracuse product also caught both of his targets for 34 yards and another score. He has looked much more explosive than Rachaad White in recent weeks, and he could continue to have a key role in Tampa's backfield, even if Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) returns on Sunday night for the first time since Week 4. Tampa's backfield could evolve into a three-headed monster when Irving returns, but at least for Week 12 against the Rams, Tucker appears to be in line to get the first chance to show he's still the hot hand.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker exploded in Week 11 with 140 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. He out-touched backfield mate, Rachaad White, 19-10, and has looked like the better, more efficient runner the past few weeks. Head coach Todd Bowles mentioned on Monday that "it's hard to say" if running back Sean Tucker will see more playing time even when Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) comes back, according to the Pewter Report. It appears the Bucs may go with a hot-hand approach in the backfield while Irving remains out. Regardless, this Week 12 matchup is brutal for whoever the Bucs plan to roll out there. The Los Angeles Rams are tough against opposing running backs, ranking third overall in the fewest points allowed to the position. The positives for Tucker are that he may have overtaken White's early-down work, and, as a result, Tucker will remain in the RB3/flex conversations this week, assuming Irving is still not able to play. If Irving does play, Tucker should remain on fantasy managers' benches.

Buccaneers' RB Sean Tucker scored an astounding 34.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 11 loss in Buffalo. Tucker ran for 106 yards and caught two passes for 34 yards with three touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Tucker scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said on Monday that "it's hard to say" if running back Sean Tucker will see more playing time even when Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) comes back, according to the Pewter Report. The Bucs may go with a hot-hand approach to their backfield when Irving gets cleared to return for the first time since getting hurt in Week 4. Since he's been sidelined, Rachaad White has seen most of the backfield work. White played 60% of the offensive snaps in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills compared to 44% for Tucker, but it was Tucker who went off with a season-high 19 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns. He also added two catches for 34 yards and another score. The 24-year-old has looked much more explosive than White and deserves attention off the waiver wire this week, regardless of whether Irving is back for Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker exploded for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries in the Buccaneers' 44-32 loss against the Buffalo Bills. He also hauled in both of his targets for 34 yards and another score. It was a favorable matchup for Tucker against a Bills run defense that has really struggled in 2025 and has allowed the sixth most points to opposing running backs on the season. Still, Tucker made his presence known and out-carried backfield mate Rachaad White 19 to 10 on the afternoon and had the explosion, which was evident by his 43-yard touchdown run and his 28-yard reception touchdown. Should Bucky Irving (shoulder) continue to miss time, Tucker should be considered a low-end RB2 heading into Week 12 based on his volume, opportunities, and recent outburst. The matchup is tough against the Los Angeles Rams, but they did allow 67 rush yards and a score to Kenneth Walker this past Sunday. White will likely remain involved, but is now considered more of an RB3/desperate flex play.

Dynasty | Bucs running back Sean Tucker had 106 rushing yards, two catches, 34 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a loss to the Bills. Dynasty Analysis: Sure, why not? Tucker had just two scores on the season and a high of just 53 rushing yards coming into this one but simply exploded. With Bucky Irving still on the mend, this backfield just got really interesting as Tucker played ahead of Rachaad White for most of the game. It's an interesting development in dynasty leagues as it flips this backfield on its head. Tucker should obviously be owned everywhere but we need to see more before believing this is anything other than an outlier of a performance.
