New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson cemented himself as the team's lead back while fending off Rhamondre Stevenson last Sunday, and in doing so, he also strengthened his position as a low-end RB1 in fantasy football. Henderson continues to find himself in the must-start range ahead of Monday Night Football against the New York Giants in Week 13. The rookie played 65% of the snaps last week, holding Stevenson to just seven touches for 10 yards. Meanwhile, Henderson had 18 carries for 66 rushing yards, plus three catches for an additional 15 receiving yards. The Ohio State product didn't find the end zone, but he did have five touchdowns over his previous two games. In four games since taking over as the Patriots' primary ball carrier, he is the third-highest-scoring running back in PPR leagues. He'll have a great chance to strengthen his fantasy value this week against the Giants, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2025. Henderson ranks as the overall RB9 in this week's RotoBaller fantasy football rankings.

New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson took advantage of backfield mate Rhamondre Stevenson missing three games with a toe injury, compiling 264 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns on 47 carries over that span. The 23-year-old second-rounder also added 10 catches on 12 targets for 66 yards and another TD. He had at least 14 rushing attempts in all three of those starts. Stevenson returned in the Week 12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but Henderson outsnapped him 46 to 22 and saw a healthy 18 carries for 66 yards, adding three receptions for 15 yards on four targets. Stevenson will continue to be involved if he's healthy in New England's backfield, but it looks like Henderson has finally taken over starting duties for the Pats as they head into a Monday night tilt against the Giants in Week 13. Against New York, Henderson will have clear RB1 upside in fantasy in a plus matchup.

Dynasty | Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson had 66 rushing yards, three catches, and 15 receiving yards in a win against the Bengals. Dynasty Analysis: He didn't score and that was disappointing. However, the real story here is the fact he had 18 carries and Rhamondre Stevenson only had six upon his return. In short, Henderson looks to have taken over the Patriots backfield and that's huge news for the stretch run. With Drake Maye and New England playing so well (10-2), it's fair to say Henderson could be a league winner this year. If you bought low, congratulations. If you didn't, it's too late.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson rushed for 66 yards on 18 carries during Sunday's Week 12 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. He also caught three of his four targets for an additional 15 receiving yards. There was some concern about Henderson's role with Rhamondre Stevenson returning from injury. While Stevenson did earn some touches, Henderson remained the primary running back. Now that he has the lead role all to himself, the rookie needs to turn his attention to improving his efficiency. He averaged 3.7 yards per carry on Sunday, just one game removed from averaging 3.3 yards per carry against the Jets. If he can improve his scoring or yardage efficiency, he can be an RB1 going forward. In the meantime, he ranks as more of a mid-range RB2 for Week 13 against the New York Giants.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson looked terrific as the team's lead back over the last few weeks, but the coaching staff refused to commit to him as their top option out of the backfield for Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Henderson's increased role was a result of Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) missing time, but now that Stevenson has been removed from the injury report, we expect the backfield dynamic to look a little different. While we expected Henderson to lose some volume when Stevenson came back, we'd be a little surprised to see the rookie lose his lead-back role after he tallied 264 rushing yards, 66 receiving yards, and five touchdowns over the last three games. Nevertheless, head coach Mike Vrabel wouldn't name Henderson the starter. Don't be surprised if Stevenson remains a thorn in Henderson's fantasy managers' sides once again this week. The rookie has RB1 upside, but he ranks as more of an RB2 with Stevenson back in the mix.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson has played well in Rhamondre Stevenson's (toe) absence the last three games, averaging 5.6 yards per carry for 264 yards and four touchdowns on 47 rushing attempts. Henderson also caught 10 passes for 66 yards and another touchdown. However, head coach Mike Vrabel was non-committal when asked if there will be a more even workload between the two once Stevenson is back from his injury, according to Tom Carroll of WEEI. "I think we'll probably have to have that conversation when it's certain that we're gonna have Rhamondre. He's gonna work through practice today, and we'll see where things go. TreVeyon's helped us, Rhamondre's helped us, Terrell [Jennings'] helped us." Stevenson returned to a limited practice on Wednesday, but it's unclear if he'll play in Week 12 against the Bengals. Fantasy managers who have Henderson are surely hoping that the impressive rookie has done enough recently to warrant a bigger workload when Stevenson is back.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson capitalized on a favorable matchup against the New York Jets in Week 11, scoring three touchdowns as the Patriots became the first team in the NFL to reach nine wins this season. Henderson totaled 19 carries, 62 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, five catches, 31 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. While he remained relatively inefficient in terms of yards per carry, he dominated in nearly every other category. Henderson took advantage of an increased workload with Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) sidelined, handling a career-high 88 percent snap share and 24 total touches. Stevenson is getting closer to returning, but the rookie has proven that he deserves to be the lead back even when Stevenson is healthy. Henderson should continue to be viewed as a high-end RB2 in fantasy football.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson is on track to lead the backfield in Week 11 after Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was ruled out for a third consecutive game. After totaling 150 yards and two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, Henderson will look to keep his momentum during a short week, facing off against the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football. New York ranks near the middle of the league in terms of fantasy points allowed to running backs, but a spread of New England -12.5 could lead to a heavy dose of touches for Henderson, as well as teammates Terrell Jennings (knee) and D'Ernest Johnson. The rookie still has some things to clean up -- he averaged just 1.96 YPC on non-scoring plays last week -- but if he can continue to play more than three-quarters of the snaps while carving out a role as a rusher and receiver, he'll be in line for a very strong fantasy outing in Week 11. He ranks as a solid RB2 with RB1 upside.

New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson will look to build on his breakout performance heading into Week 11. Henderson dominated the backfield in Week 10, racking up 150 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns on 15 touches to help lead the Patriots past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fantasy managers had been waiting for Henderson to get his opportunity, and he capitalized in a big way, playing 84% of the snaps after Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was ruled out and Terrell Jennings (knee) exited early. With both backs still limited in practice ahead of Thursday night's matchup against the New York Jets, Henderson could be in line for a workhorse role and another big fantasy outing in Week 11.

New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson (knee) was listed as a full participant at Tuesday's practice after he was limited on Monday due to a knee issue, according to Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald. Henderson tweaked his knee in the Week 10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, but he returned to the contest and finished with a career day in the 28-23 win. The 23-year-old second-rounder had 14 carries for the second straight week with Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) sidelined and ran for 147 yards and two touchdowns. One of his touchdowns was an explosive 69-yard scamper down the sideline. Henderson finally broke out for the Pats and fantasy managers, but can he do it again this Thursday night in a plus divisional matchup versus the New York Jets? Henderson's stock is certainly trending upwards, but his fantasy ceiling in Week 11 will depend on whether Stevenson can end his two-game absence.
