Davis had some injury issues last year but was pretty productive when on the field. He had 32 receptions for 536 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games, including two starts. He had four games with double-digit fantasy points. Davis has not really lived up to expectations as a pro. He has never topped 1,000 yards and has just two seasons with more than 650 yards. He is likely a depth player than starter at this stage of his career. Davis has good size for the position and does a great job of getting in and out of his breaks. He also is a top athlete that can stretch the field and be a tough cover because of his size and strength. He will drop some passes, though, and has endured consistency issues throughout his career. Plus, injures have been an issue the last few seasons.

Dynasty | The Jets have released wide receiver Corey Davis off their retired / reserve list, clearing the way for a comeback. Dynasty Analysis: The move is procedural and allows Davis to sign with any team. The Jets seem to be the most logical fit here, though. Still just 29, he could provide some much-needed veteran leadership on whatever team he signs on with. While he'll never reach the lofty expectations dynasty managers had when he was the 5th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, he could still prove to be roster worthy in the end. Stay tuned.
The New York Jets officially released wide receiver Corey Davis from the Reserve/Retired list on Thursday, making him free to sign with any team on the open market. Davis, who is still an option to return to the Jets, applied for reinstatement from the NFL earlier in the day after announcing his retirement towards the end of last season. The 29-year-old pass-catcher now wants to return to football in 2024, but it remains to be seen where he'll be playing. The Tennessee Titans' former first-round pick (fifth overall) in 2017 out of Western Michigan caught 66 of 123 targets for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns from 2021-22 in two seasons with the Jets. Wherever he's playing in 2024, the veteran wideout will likely be battling for a depth role and is unlikely to make a mark in fantasy.

New York Jets WR Corey Davis, who announced his retirement last summer, applied for reinstatement to the NFL on Thursday, March 14. The Jets are expected to release Davis from Reserve/Retired list on Thursday but may be interested in bringing him back on a new contract.
