2024 RTSports Outlook

Robinson had his season end early because of a torn ACL. He is making a strong recovery from the injury and should be ready to go for the start of this season. Robinson was showing his potential before the injury, having double-digit fantasy points three of his last five games before his season ended. As long as he is healthy, Robinson should have one of the starting jobs at receiver for the Giants. Robinson is a good fit for the slot. He lacks size but is very quick and can make plays after the catch. He is a tough cover out of the slot because of his shiftiness. Robinson can struggle some with press coverage because of his size.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Robinson will get his weekly targets in this offense. He probably won't score a ton but his receptions and yards should be above average. He will help fantasy teams as a No. 3 or 4 fantasy receiver. Robinson can finish with around 80 receptions for 800 yards and five touchdowns.

Most of the beat writers for the New York Giants would be surprised if first-round rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers isn't the team's most targeted player right away in 2024, but Wan'Dale Robinson should give him a good race. A fully healthy Robinson should push for the team lead in targets, but it's obvious that Nabers, the sixth overall pick in this year's NFL draft, has much more fantasy upside, both in the short and long term. The Giants are going to need playmakers like Nabers and Robinson to step now that running back Saquon Barkley is no longer in town. The 23-year-old Robinson, who was a second-rounder in 2022, suffered an ACL tear in his rookie year before catching 60 of 78 targets for 525 yards and a touchdown in 15 games (eight starts) last year. There's potential for a Robinson to take a big step forward in 2024, but it will also depend on quarterback Daniel Jones' (knee) health.

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (quad) is currently listed as questionable for the upcoming Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Robinson began the week as a limited participant in practice. He was upgraded to full on Thursday, but then returned to being a limited participant on Friday. Possibly, Robinson re-aggravated his quad during practice. It sounds like the team is going to wait and see how Robinson progresses throughout the weekend. Regardless, Robinson shouldn't be treated as anything more than a WR5.

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (quadriceps) was on the field for a full practice on Thursday after being listed as limited during the team's walkthrough on Wednesday. Robinson should continue to serve as New York's starting slot receiver for a Week 17 tilt against the Los Angeles Rams, but it's a role that hasn't led to consistent production for fantasy managers in a low-scoring Giants offense. The 22-year-old second-year wideout has only 49 catches on the season for 385 yards and one touchdown on 63 targets. Robinson could have a higher ceiling with quarterback Tyrod Taylor making the start this weekend, but fantasy managers competing for a trophy this week would be wise to avoid him in starting lineups. Robinson has gone over 50 receiving yards in a game only twice in 13 contests.

Dec 27 3:00pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (quad) is listed as a limited participant for Wednesday's practice due to a quad injury. The second-year pro has been on the injury report often this year, but he has yet to miss a game since making his season debut in Week 3. Whether Robinson plays or not, he is not on the fantasy radar based on his body of work this season. The 2022 second-round pick has only posted double-digit half-PPR fantasy points in three games this year, and he's on pace for fewer than 500 receiving yards in 2023. If he doesn't play against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Sterling Shepard and Parris Campbell are candidates to see more snaps.

Nov 27 10:20am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson secured four of his five targets for 26 yards in the team's 10-7 victory over the New England Patriots. All those marks were second-best for New York, behind rookie Jalin Hyatt. For the second time all season, Robinson's snap percentage topped 75 percent, but the production didn't reflect that. Quarterback Tommy Devito completed 17 passes on the afternoon for 191 yards, capping the ceiling for the majority of the receiving corps. Robinson remains nothing more than a desperation PPR option for fantasy football managers this season, and should only be rostered in dynasty formats moving forward.

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday ahead of his team's Week 11 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Robinson has been a regular visitor to the injury report since playing in his first game of the season back in Week 3. The Giants have been taking it easy on Robinson after he tore his ACL last season but thus far it hasn't prevented him from playing. Robinson's ability to practice on Thursday and Friday will be worth keeping an eye on throughout the week but he's likely to take the field this weekend. More concerning than the knee is the fact that the Giants will have Tommy Devito under center this weekend, DeVito has thrown for just 261 yards and three touchdowns over his past two games. Robinson has not done much with DeVito under center, with just six total catches for 41 yards over the past two contests.
