2024 RTSports Outlook

Dulcich played just two games his second season, catching three passes for 25 yards. Hamstring and foot injuries caused a wasted season for Dulcich. He will look to get it going and serve as the top tight end for the Broncos. Dulcich is a talented pass catcher with plus hands. He runs good routes and can be a tough cover down the seam. Dulcich is not much of a blocker, which might impact his playing time a little.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Don't expect a huge, breakout season, but Dulcich has some potential in this offense. Take him as a No. 2 and hope it all comes together. It is possible. For now, look for around 50 receptions for 600 yards and five touchdowns.

RotoBaller's Outlook

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich had a forgettable 2023 season. He showed potential as a rookie in 2022 but struggled with hamstring and foot injuries last year. He was limited to just two games as a result. Head coach Sean Payton has spoken multiple times about Dulcich filling the "joker" role in Denver's offense. This would bode well for his fantasy prospects if he can stay on the field. However, it's worth noting that Dulcich was splitting playing time with Adam Trautman last preseason which indicates the staff might not see Dulcich as a full-time player. It's unclear who will emerge as rookie Bo Nix's preferred option. There are targets up for grabs in this offense after the club shipped receiver Jerry Jeudy off to Cleveland. Dulcich could emerge as a top target earner in this offense, but he needs to stay on the field to do so. Ranked as RotoBaller's TE38, Dulcich has an NFFC average draft position (ADP) of 292.8. He is firmly off the redraft radar at that ADP. Dulcich can be left undrafted but is a potentially intriguing option at the tight end position. Fantasy gamers should keep an eye on Dulcich and be ready to pounce on waivers if he shows life early in the season.

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring, foot) is doing "really well" physically, according to head coach Sean Payton, and he could get back on the field this week during mandatory minicamp. It sounds like Dulcich is improving and should be ready for training camp, the preseason, and the start of the 2024 regular season as he looks to bounce back from hamstring and foot ailments that limited him to just two games in 2023 in his second NFL season. The former third-rounder in 2022 out of UCLA also dealt with injuries in his rookie campaign and caught 33 of 55 targets for 411 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games. At this point, Dulcich is just trying to stay healthy while now competing with Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull for primary pass-catching duties at tight end in 2024. With the QB situation unsettled, though, Dulcich, given his injury history, will be off the fantasy radar in standard 12-team leagues.

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot) is working off the field at OTAs as he works his way back from a foot injury, but head coach Sean Payton said he expects him to be ready for training camp later this summer. After a decent showing as a rookie in 2022, Dulcich was limited to just two games in 2023 and hauled in just three passes for 25 yards. He will likely compete with veteran tight end Adam Trautman for the lead tight end duties this offseason, but neither player figures to have much upside with rookie quarterback Bo Nix under center. That said, Dulcich remains an intriguing dynasty-league stash based on his strong prospect profile and small glimpse of upside in his debut season.

Jan 3 10:30pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot) was not officially activated from Injured Reserve by his 21-day deadline on Wednesday and will not play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. A hamstring injury kept Dulcich out for the vast majority of his second NFL season, although a foot injury was ultimately what prevented him from making a late-season return. The 23-year-old caught three of his four targets for 25 yards in the two games he appeared in this year. Adam Trautman served as Denver's top pass-catching tight end all year with Dulcich sidelined, but he wasn't a realistic weekly starting option. Dulcich has some intrigue as a pass-catcher, but he's going to need to stay on the field to stay in Denver's long-term plans heading into the 2024 season.

Jan 1 7:30pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot, hamstring) is not expected to come off Injured Reserve to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Dulcich was designated to return from Injured Reserve on Dec. 13 but is now unlikely to return for the final game of the season. The 23-year-old former third-round selection from UCLA in 2022 has developed an injury-prone label after playing in only two games this year, mainly due to a hamstring injury that also plagued him last season. In his two games, Dulcich caught three of four targets for 25 yards and no touchdowns. Denver's offense is going to be in flux this offseason with the team not expected to bring quarterback Russell Wilson back, and Dulcich will need to get healthy in 2024 before fantasy managers really take notice.

Dec 29 10:00pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring, foot) has been ruled out for the upcoming Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The second-year tight end continues to work his way back from multiple injuries that have forced him to miss most of the season. Given the current state of the Broncos, it seems increasingly likely that Dulcich will sit out for the rest of the season. The Broncos have already benched Russell Wilson, so Dulcich wouldn't offer great fantasy value even if he played in the regular season finale next week.

Dec 28 7:50pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot, hamstring) missed his second day of practice this week on Thursday. It's looking more and more likely that Dulcich, who remains on Injured Reserve, won't return to play in 2023 with the Broncos' playoff chances on life support after losing their last two games. The 23-year-old second-year tight end has only been active for two games this year, mostly due to a hamstring injury, but a swollen foot is the latest issue keeping him from making a late-season return. Dulcich should only be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues at this point in the year. In his two games in 2023, Dulcich has caught three of his four targets for 25 yards. He hasn't seen game action since Week 6.

Dec 27 7:00pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot, hamstring) remained sidelined at the team's first practice session of the week on Wednesday. Dulcich was designated to return from Injured Reserve on Dec. 13 but has yet to officially be activated from IR. Now that the Broncos are extremely unlikely to sneak into the playoff picture in the AFC after a second straight loss in Week 16 to the New England Patriots, it feels unlikely that the Broncos will bring Dulcich back for their final two regular season games. The 23-year-old second-year tight end is believed to be healed from the hamstring injury that has caused him to miss all but two games in 2023, but now a foot injury is the thing holding him back from returning. Fantasy managers should continue to stay away from Denver's tight end situation heading into championship week.

Dec 23 12:50am ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring/foot) was officially ruled out of Week 16's matchup against the New England Patriots. Dulcich remains on injured reserve and is still in his 21-day practice window after Denver designated him to return on December 13. The 23-year-old practiced that day but foot soreness has kept him out of practices and the Broncos' Week 15 game since then. Next on the depth chart is Adam Trautman who has just 174 yards and three touchdowns on 20 receptions this year. It is best that managers avoid the Broncos' tight end group altogether as they have little to offer in fantasy value.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 1:10am ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring/foot) did not practice on Thursday. Dulcich is dealing with hamstring and foot problems, as head coach Sean Payton revealed on Monday that the second-year tight end missed Saturday's game against the Detroit Lions due to swelling and soreness in his foot. Payton also said that he expects Dulcich to play again this year, but that doesn't look likely to occur for Christmas eve against the New England Patriots in Week 16 on Sunday. Dulcich can flash explosive playmaking when healthy but has been awfully prone to injuries in his first two seasons, making just two appearances with three catches on four targets for 25 yards in 2023. Tight ends haven't been a huge part of Denver's offense, with Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull most recently splitting snaps nearly down the middle in the Week 15 blowout loss to the Lions. Fantasy managers should search elsewhere for a streamer.

Dec 20 8:50pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring, foot), who was designated to return to practice last week while being on Injured Reserve, did not practice on Wednesday. Head coach Sean Payton said on Monday that Dulcich "had some swelling and soreness" in his foot, although the team still expects him to return this season. Dulcich is going to have to need to make progress quickly, though, with only three regular season games left. It seems unlikely that he'll return to play in Week 16 on Christmas Eve versus the New England Patriots. The 23-year-old second-year tight end has played in only two games in 2023 and is not going to be a fantasy option the rest of the way. Incumbent starting tight end Adam Trautman isn't much to look at either as mostly a blocking-first tight end.
