Although he hasn't found the end zone as a pass-catcher, Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has had his best two games of the season in the last two weeks, combining for 15 catches (21 targets) for 222 yards while also throwing a touchdown pass to quarterback Bo Nix on a trick play last week. He's seen double-digit targets the last two weeks for the first time since Week 3 and only the fourth time in 2024. The 29-year-old ranks 11th among all wideouts with 68 targets but is tied for 19th with 36 receptions and averages 10 half-PPR fantasy points per game -- tied with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for 36th. It might be difficult for Sutton to extend his streak of 100-yard games to three in Week 10 against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, a team allowing the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to receivers. Sutton should be considered a WR3/flex in fantasy this Sunday on the road.

Nov 4 12:10am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton delivered for fantasy managers in his second straight strong matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in the 41-10 loss in Week 9 on Sunday. Sutton had team-highs in catches (seven), targets (10) and receiving yards (122) while also completing a two-yard touchdown pass to rookie QB Bo Nix on a trick play at the goal line early in the first quarter. He benefitted from the Broncos in catch-up mode all day and recorded his second straight 100-yard game. The 29-year-old is definitely on a roll right now and is Nix's clear top target in the passing game, but Sutton still has bust potential as a WR3/flex heading into a Week 9 matchup on the road against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. Sutton has only two TDs through nine weeks after scoring a career-best 10 in 2023. He'll be looking to score for the first time since Week 6.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 9:23pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton posted seven receptions for 122 yards and 10 targets in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens, while also throwing a 2-yard touchdown to QB Bo Nix.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has back-to-back 100-yard games for the first time in his career. It's also the first time he has seven or more catches in consecutive games since Sept. 18-25, 2022, when he also had 15 catches in a two-game span. Fantasy managers can trust him as a WR2 in most leagues while running hot. The Broncos travel to meet the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 4:30pm ET

Broncos' WR Courtland Sutton had 7 receptions for 122 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's loss in Baltimore. It was Sutton's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard receiving game. He has averaged 8 catches with 111 receiving yards in those games.

Nov 2 5:10pm ET

Can Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton stack back-to-back big games in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens after catching a season-high eight of 11 targets for a season-high 100 receiving yards in last Sunday's 28-14 victory over the Carolina Panthers? We think so. He'll be a strong WR3/flex option for fantasy managers this Sunday against a Ravens defense that has allowed the second-most half-PPR fantasy points to receivers per game this year and the most passing yards per game. The 29-year-old got the squeaky-wheel treatment after not seeing a single target in the Week 7 win over the New Orleans Saints. With quarterback Bo Nix playing the best football of his first NFL season, look for him to target Sutton early and often against a shaky Ravens secondary in a game in which the Broncos may need to open it up through the air to keep up on the scoreboard.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 10:53pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton had eight receptions for 100 yards on 11 targets in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers, and he also had a 28-yard pass with one fumble lost.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton bounced back nicely after getting blanked on Thursday night in Week 7. It was the first time he has had eight grabs in a game since Sept. 24, 2024 in Miami, and it was his first 100-yard game since Sept. 18, 2022. He remains more of a WR3 or flex fantasy option in most formats.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 8:20pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton reeled in 8-of-11 targets for 100 yards in Week 8's 28-14 domination of the Carolina Panthers. He added 28 passing yards on his only attempt and lost a fumble in the outing. It was an excellent bounce-back effort for the 29-year-old after posting a goose egg in last week's win over the New Orleans Saints. It's the first time this season that the seventh-year veteran posted a 100-yard performance and the third time he's garnered double-digit targets. His eight receptions were a new season high. Sutton's production has greatly varied through eight games, putting up useful fantasy totals half the time while the other half not so much. Still, he's the clear No. 1 option in Denver's passing attack. He and the Broncos will square off against the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday in a much tougher matchup.

Oct 26 1:40pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton gets one of the better matchups this Sunday when his team squares off against the Carolina Panthers. The SMU alum goose-egg'd fantasy managers last Thursday night in Denver's 33-10 route of the New Orleans Saints. Though, cornerback Marshon Lattimore may have played a large part in that. This week, however, he'll get a much softer matchup against one of the worst defensive units in the league. Carolina allows the most pass yards per play to opposing offenses (7.6) and has turned opponents over just six times this year -- thrice through the air. It's possible Denver leads with a run-heavy game plan, mainly if second-year Panthers QB Bryce Young can't make it a contest. Still, this matchup is as good as any to start the 29-year-old. Sutton is RotoBaller's PPR WR35 ahead of Sunday's outing.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 1:23am ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton was not targeted against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton entered Thursday night as the team leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns, so it was strange to see him completely uninvolved offensively. With No. 2 WR Josh Reynolds (finger) on IR with a broken finger, that meant guys like Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims, and Lil'Jordan Humphrey got the looks in NOLA. It's probably just an aberration, though it underscores how tenuous Sutton's value is even when using him as a WR3 or flex.

Oct 18 12:50am ET

After catching four passes for 53 yards and his second touchdown of the season in the Week 6 loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton looked primed for another big week on Thursday night in primetime against the fading New Orleans Saints defense. That didn't end up being the case, as Sutton gave his fantasy managers a donut while not being targeted at all by rookie quarterback Bo Nix in the 33-10 blowout win. It was a very surprising performance by Denver's most targeted receiver, especially in a game in which Denver put up 30-plus points. Head coach Sean Payton explained at halftime that Sutton's lack of involvement was the product of the Saints D playing mostly zone coverage, forcing Nix to go elsewhere. It was a week-losing performance no doubt for Sutton's fantasy managers, but he should bounce back in Week 8 against the Panthers.

From RotoBaller

Oct 17 12:50am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is outside the top-50 receivers in terms of average fantasy points per game through six weeks, but he could return some nice value in a Week 7 Thursday night matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Sutton scored his second touchdown of the season in the Week 6 loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers and was able to go over 50 receiving yards for the third time this year and third time in the last four games. Although his overall production doesn't jump off the page, Sutton is tied with D.J. Moore for 13th among all wideouts with 47 targets. The 29-year-old is Denver's clear top receiving target, and he seems to be gaining some chemistry with rookie QB Bo Nix. Against a Saints defense that has allowed the sixth-most half-PPR points per game to opposing wideouts in the last three weeks, Sutton is a WR4/flex with upside for more on Thursday night.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 12:20am ET

Things weren't looking great for Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton's fantasy managers for most of the Week 6 contest against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday until late in the fourth quarter. Sutton's final line was four catches on six targets for 53 yards and his second touchdown reception of the year. The 29-year-old's 37-yard TD grab was a highlight-reel catch near the back of the end zone in which he laid out and initially caught the ball one-handed. If not for the amazing catch, though, he would have finished with another very mediocre fantasy day. Sutton will likely continue to be more of a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex for fantasy managers, but the good news is that rookie quarterback Bo Nix has shown improvement in the last five weeks with five touchdowns and only one pick. Sutton will be looking to keep the positive momentum and score for the second straight game in a Week 7 Thursday night clash against the Saints.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 9:23pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught four of his six targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in a 23-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton is the No. 1 option in the Denver passing attack, but his ceiling has been limited by the growing pains of Bo Nix. The good news is that Nix has been better of late, which could lead to a boost in Sutton's numbers going forward. Suttin is worth owning, but he is no more than a flex option in deeper formats for the time being.

From TheHuddle

Oct 12 7:30am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton will have a low fantasy ceiling and floor for a Week 6 matchup against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. After going for three catches, 60 yards and his first touchdown of the year in the Week 4 win over the New York Jets, Sutton had a quiet two catches for 32 yards in last week's win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. He's currently the WR53 in half-PPR scoring and has gone into double-digit fantasy points (half PPR) just twice in five contests. On top of it, the Chargers defense has allowed the fourth-fewest half-PPR points per game (19.0) to the receiver position through five weeks (four games). The only thing good Sutton has going for him is his 26.3% target share; he currently ranks tied for 12th among wideouts with 41 total targets. But he's caught only 17 of those targets for 224 yards and a touchdown and should be considered a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex in lineups this Sunday against what has been a lockdown defense so far.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 1:50am ET

After scoring his first touchdown of the season in the Week 4 upset win over the New York Jets, Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a very non-descript day despite the offense breaking out for a season-high 34 points in the Week 5 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Sutton finished with just two catches on five targets for 32 yards. He led all Denver wideouts in targets (five) but was out-produced by both running back Javonte Williams and receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey as quarterback Bo Nix continued to spread the ball around. The 28-year-old didn't have much of a chance to produce for fantasy managers with the Broncos RBs seeing more work in the passing game. Sutton is the clear No. 1 target for Nix, but he hasn't been efficient in 2024 and will continue to be a touchdown-dependent, low-upside WR4/flex in Week 6 against a stout Chargers defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 10:33pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught two of his five targets for 32 yards in a 34-18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton was second on the team in targets and first among receivers, but the rest of his numbers continue lag behind his targets because of the Bo Nix's early struggles. Sutton is too inconsistent to be more than a flex option, but he could be a sleeper in the second half if Nix can make strides.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 10:50pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton will be looking to score a touchdown for the second straight week in Week 5 against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday after finding paydirt for the first time in four weeks in the Week 4 win over the New York Jets. Sutton leads the team in catches (15), targets (36), receiving yards (192) and touchdowns (one) through four games. However, he's also sporting career-lows in catch rate (41.7%), yards per catch (12.8) and yards per target (5.4). Sutton had a career-high 10 scores in 2023 with Russell Wilson, but he hasn't found that same chemistry with rookie quarterback Bo Nix so far. The Raiders defense presents a pretty neutral matchup, as they've been around middle of the pack in passing yards allowed and fantasy points per game allowed to wideouts. Sutton has become a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex in fantasy but has upside for a little more in Week 5 at home against Vegas.

From RotoBaller

Sep 30 12:20am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a career-high 10 touchdowns in 2023, but it took him until Week 4 of 2024 to visit paydirt for the first time. Sutton finished the 10-9 upset win over the New York Jets on Sunday with three catches on nine targets for 60 yards and his first touchdown of the year, which also happened to be rookie quarterback Bo Nix's first TD pass of his career. Sutton's three receptions, nine targets and 60 receiving yards all led the team on a rain-soaked day in which Nix threw for a total of 60 yards. The good news is that the 28-year-old is the clear leader in targets and receiving yards on this team. The bad news is that Nix and this Broncos offense have been highly inconsistent and low-scoring so far in 2024, leaving Sutton as a low-ceiling, low-floor WR4/flex most weeks in fantasy. In an appealing matchup in Week 5 against the division-rival Raiders in Denver, Sutton could have a good shot at making it two straight weeks with a touchdown.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 8:13pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton ended up with three receptions for a team-high 60 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 4 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Spin: It was an ugly, wet and ground-based attack for the Broncos, so the fact he had a decent yardage total and touchdown was phenomenal news for fantasy managers. However, as long as rookie Bo Nix is struggling under center, Sutton's fantasy value is rather limited. The Broncos host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
