Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and wide receiver DeSean Jackson have had a great connection and good timing throughout the offseason program. Head coach Doug Pederson said that Jackson spent the entire offseason in Philadelphia working with Wentz, and their chemistry is showing through. Jackson, 32, was a bust in his final year in Tampa with 41 catches for 774 yards and four touchdowns, but he's still very fast and averaged 18.9 yards per catch. He's boom or bust as a deep threat, but D-Jax will still have appeal in standard-scoring leagues in a very potent offense. However, his per-game catches will likely fluctuate with tight ends Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert and receivers Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor gobbling up targets.

Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz's four-year, $128 million extension includes $128 million guaranteed at signing and $107.9 million total guaranteed.

Jun 6 8:00pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a four-year contract extension with quarterback Carson Wentz on Thursday that will take him through the 2024 season. Although Wentz has suffered season-ending injuries each of the last two years, the Eagles know he's their long-term QB of the future and wanted to lock him down. Despite his injuries, Wentz is immensely talented and can play at an MVP level when he's healthy. He's a risk/reward QB1 in fantasy, but we feel that the risk is worth it after he's dealt with two pretty fluky injuries the last two seasons. There are plenty of weapons around Wentz to make him successful for years to come.

Jun 6 7:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz signed a four-year contract extension with the Eagles Thursday, June 6, that will run through the 2024 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Fantasy Spin: Wentz has struggled with injuries over the last few seasons but has played well when he is on the field. He should be considered a No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues in 2019.

Jun 5 3:10pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles and head coach Doug Pederson are thrilled with the progress quarterback Carson Wentz has made this offseason and are expecting big things from him in 2019. Wentz has finished both of the last two seasons on Injured Reserve, which makes fantasy owners hesitant to take on that injury risk with him as a high-end QB1. When healthy, though, Wentz has shown MVP traits under center and has put up big-time numbers, so he's worth the risk as a low-end QB1 with upside. There are still plenty of weapons at Wentz's disposal in this offense as well.

Jun 3 3:13pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz is 'locked in potentially to a return to MVP form,' according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Head coach Doug Pederson echoed similar sentiments with reporters recently as well.

Fantasy Spin: Wentz missed five games last season due to a back injury and has been sidelined for eight total since playing all 16 as a rookie in 2016. With that said, it's hard to ignore the weapons he has at his disposal - Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and Zach Ertz, among several others - or the solid offensive line he has protecting him. If he can play a full season again, it is quite possible Wentz can produce at a high-end fantasy QB1 level.

May 22 2:50pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (back) worked out without limitations on Tuesday on the first day of organized team activities. He also shed a protective knee brace that he wore last season after tearing his ACL in 2017. Wentz has full confidence in his body and doesn't plan on wearing the brace during the season. He is feeling really good, and it helps that he's working out with the team now after missing a good part of the 2018 offseason while recovering from knee procedures. Fantasy owners may shy away from Wentz because of season-ending injuries the last two years, but he's been a strong QB1 when healthy.

May 22 2:40pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles could lock quarterback Carson Wentz up to a big long-term extension before training camp. "My belief is that deal will get done at some point this offseason," ESPN's Adam Schefter said. Executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman said in March that "having Carson here long term is our goal" and the organization will "work toward that." CEO Jeffrey Lurie said he would "absolutely" be comfortable extending Wentz despite the fact he's coming off two serious injuries the last two years. It signals that the Eagles don't think the stress fracture in Wentz's back is a long-term concern. A deal with Wentz could net him around $30 million per season.

May 21 11:13am ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (knee) has no limitations in organized team activities, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

Fantasy Spin: Wentz a year-and-a-half removed from a torn ACL that wrecked an MVP season. This will be a prove-it year to show that peak wasn't smoke and mirrors. He's a high-end option at the position with top-two upside and a mediocre floor.

May 20 4:33pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) is reportedly progressing well from his back injury and will not be limited for on-field drills during organized team activities beginning Tuesday, May 21. While the team will be cautious with him, he is expected to be involved in the majority of all work, according to sources.

May 18 7:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz has started contract extension talks with the Eagles, but the two sides are not close to an agreement at this point.

Fantasy Spin: Wentz is under contract for a few more years but could receive a contract extension before the start of the 2019 season. Wentz has played well when he is healthy, but he has deal with injuries over the last few seasons. He can still be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues this upcoming season.

May 8 3:40pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles executive Howie Roseman and owner Jeffrey Lurie have been open about their desire to sign quarterback Carson Wentz to a long-term contract extension. Lurie said the team "absolutely" would be willing to ink Wentz sooner than later. This guy is going to be a great player for the Philadelphia Eagles for a long time, Roseman said. I couldnt be more excited about him and his future in Philadelphia. The 26-year-old is entering his fourth season in the NFL and has mounting injury concerns after finishing the last two seasons on the sidelines. He finished with 3,072 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a career-best 69.6 completion percentage in 11 games last year. His status for organized team activities and minicamp is unclear as he recovers from his back injury. Wentz has elite QB1 upside, but fantasy owners will be reluctant to take him early in drafts.

May 2 1:30pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles exercised the fifth-year option for quarterback Carson Wentz on Monday. The second overall pick in 2016, Wentz has completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 10,152 yards, 70 touchdowns and a 92.5 QB rating in 40 career games. The 26-year-old started in Week 1 in his rookie season, but injuries have cut short his seasons the last two years. He set the franchise record for a single season in 2017 with 33 touchdowns in 13 starts in his second season in the NFL. The injuries have caused his price to drop in fantasy leagues, but when healthy he's showed he can be among the best signal-callers in the NFL.

From RotoBaller

Apr 29 4:33pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz's fifth-year option was exercised Monday, April 29.

Fantasy Spin: Wentz has played well when he is healthy but has missed time each of the last two seasons because of injuries. He can be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in fantasy leagues, but fantasy players may want to draft a solid backup because of Wentz's injury history.

Apr 25 10:50pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles traded with the Ravens and selected Washington State offensive tackle Andre Dillard with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2019 draft. Dillard is excellent at pass protection, so he'll be tasked with keeping quarterback Carson Wentz healthy for an entire season. His arm length is suspect and could hurt him, but he's got good feet and will be put on the spot right away at the next level.

From RotoBaller

Apr 15 3:13pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) told reporters Monday, April 15, that while he feels good about his recovery, the stress fracture in his back is still not fully healed. He added his goal is to be ready for OTAs.

Apr 15 2:30pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz said his recovery from his back injury is going well, but he's not fully healed from the stress fracture. "Its still getting there," Wentz said. His goal is to be ready for organized team activities. Wentz still has a lot of upside but is an injury risk as a QB1 heading into 2019. The Eagles no longer have the luxury of Nick Foles as a top-end backup, either, so they'll need Foles to stay healthy for a full season for the first time since his rookie season.

From RotoBaller

Mar 26 12:00am ET

Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said that the team "wants to sign" quarterback Carson Wentz to a contract extension. Wentz is undeniably a franchise QB at just 26 years old, but he's ended the last two seasons injured and played in a career-low 11 games in 2018. He's entering the final year of his rookie deal but also has a 2020 team option. With plenty of playmakers around him still, Wentz still has plenty of QB1 upside left, but the question is if fantasy owners feels he's worth the risk due to injuries.

From RotoBaller

Mar 25 8:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz is a player the Eagles would like to sign to a contract extension at some point, according to general manager Howie Roseman.

Fantasy Spin: Wentz has missed time in each of the last two seasons because of injuries but is still the team's long-term option at quarterback. He has played well when he is healthy but is risky because of his injury history. He can still be considered a No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Mar 4 12:23am ET

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) is expected to be healthy by the start of workouts in mid-April, sources close to the quarterback said Sunday, March 3.

Fantasy Spin: Wentz has been unable to make it through the entire regular season in each of the past two years, and now the Eagles do not have a savior in Nick Foles, as he will be allowed to pursue opportunities elsewhere. You can expect the Eagles will be very, very careful with Wentz during the offseason and into training camp. When healthy, he has low-end QB1 fantasy ability.
