Benched to start the fourth quarter after throwing two interceptions and completing 15-of-25 passes for just 85 yards in a 17-16 Week 6 loss to the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen will ride the pine again in Week 7. Claiming on Monday that he believed Rosen would still remain the starting quarterback going forward, head coach Brian Flores proved once again that the words of NFL coaches can rarely be trusted, announcing on Wednesday that Ryan Fitzpatrick would instead start against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. A first-round pick in 2018, Rosen has since been traded from the team that drafted him and been benched by league's worst team. If Rosen is still on your roster for some reason, now it the time to correct the mistake.

Oct 16 1:13pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen was benched for Week 7 against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: It's a horrible matchup anyway, and Rosen could be back starting in a matter of weeks. He still has long-term appeal, but there is none for single-year formats.

From TheHuddle

Oct 14 2:40am ET

Coming off of a bye and facing one of the league's most generous defenses, the stars seemed to be aligned for Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen to show his true talent in Week 6. Rosen was instead benched to start the fourth quarter after throwing for just 85 yards on 15-of-25 passing, leading Miami to only three points before departing with zero touchdowns and two interceptions. While head coach Brian Flores did confirm after the game that Rosen is still the starter, the second-year quarterback on his second team just simply isn't viable in any format. Rosen should be left on the waiver wire again next week, as he and the Dolphins have a tough matchup against a stingy Buffalo defense.

Oct 14 2:23am ET

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen was benched at the start of the fourth quarter in Week 6 against the Washington Redskins after going 15-of-25 for 85 yards and two interceptions.

Fantasy Spin: On a positive note, head coach Brian Flores told reporters Rosen will remain the starter and that Ryan Fitzpatrick's entrance into the game was merely to spark the offense. Nevertheless, fantasy owners have seen this will be enough times to know this probably won't be the only occasion in which the Miami offense needs a spark. Outside of truly desperate owners in two-quarterback leagues, neither player should see much time in fantasy lineups.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 3:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen was benched during the Week 6 game and has been replaced by QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Fantasy Spin: The Dolphins recently said that Rosen would be the starter for the rest of the season, but it appears they are going back to Fitzpatrick at least for now. Fantasy players probably should avoid the Dolphins quarterback situation.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 12:40pm ET

Recently confirmed by head coach Brian Flores as the starter for the remainder of the season, Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen has his best chance to shine in Week 6 with the winless Washington Redskins coming to town. While the Dolphins are certainly horrible, Rosen's performances haven't been helped by an early schedule filled with stingy fantasy defenses, such as the Chargers (ninth-best against opposing QBs), Dallas (sixth), and New England (first). Rosen didn't exactly dominate in his two games prior to Miami's bye this past week but he was at least mediocre, throwing for a total of 380 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. The Redskins will come in having recently fired their head coach and with a defense that's allowing the fifth-most points to quarterbacks in 2019. If Rosen can't move the offense and find his way to at least some fantasy relevance for this game, it's hard to see when he ever will.

From RotoBaller

Oct 9 12:10pm ET

Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said that the team's quarterback situation is "settled" and that Josh Rosen will be the guy the rest of the season. Rosen hasn't been great in his two starts the last two games, but he's been slightly better than Ryan Fitzpatrick. Against the similarly terrible Redskins in Week 6, Rosen will probably be as appealing as he'll be all year as a QB2. He's completed 51.2 percent of his 84 pass attempts this year for 482 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Miami is rightfully letting him play out the year to evaluate him.

From RotoBaller

Oct 9 12:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen will remain the starter the rest of the season, according to head coach Brian Flores.

Fantasy Spin: Rosen has done nothing to warrant lineup consideration even in two-QB leagues right now. He completed 70.8 percent of his passes in the last game, but it translated to just 180 yards, one score and one pick. The 22-year-old is still a long-term piece in dynasty leagues, though.

From TheHuddle

Sep 30 12:20am ET

Starting for the second game in a row, Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen completed 17-of-24 passes for 180 yards in a 31-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Rosen had a solid first half - including a 34-yard touchdown pass to Devante Parker - but the entire offense collapsed in the second half and ran just 15 plays on four drives for a total of 37 yards. Rosen again wasn't helped by the multiple drops in his receiving corps, as well as an offensive line that seems to be mostly composed of swiss cheese and dreams. Rosen and the Dolphins have a bye in Week 5 and will get an easier matchup in Week 6 when the Washington Redskins come to town.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 10:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen completed 17-of-24 passes for 180 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Fantasy Spin: Rosen wasn't great, but there was some progress. Still, he isn't a recommended fantasy option at this point. The Dolphins are off for their bye in Week 5.

From TheHuddle

Sep 28 12:40pm ET

Making his first start of the year, Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen did little to impress in a 31-6 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. Rosen completed 18-of-39 passes for 200 yards but was also hurt by numerous drops, including what should have been a 15-yard touchdown reception by Preston Williams. While Rosen may be continuing to improve, he'll also continue to be without consistent offensive weapons or a healthy offensive line, making him fantasy irrelevant in Week 4 and beyond.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 3:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen (elbow) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 27, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Fantasy Spin: Rosen struggled during his first start of the season last week and will be facing a solid defense again this week. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Sep 27 3:13pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Allen Hurns (concussion) and CB Jomal Wiltz (groin) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 4 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. From TheHuddle

Sep 26 4:03pm ET

Sep 25 5:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen (elbow) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Fantasy Spin: Rosen threw for 200 yards in his first start last week but also completed under 50 percent of his pass attempts during the game. He will continue to be the Dolphins starting quarterback for now but should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.
