Dec 6 5:20pm ET

New England Patriots running back James White will go up against a Chiefs Defense that has allowed the second most fantasy points to running backs this season. This matches up perfectly with White coming off his best game of the season. The Chiefs have allowed 16 different running backs to post nine or more fantasy points against them this season and White posted 177 yards from scrimmage with two touchdowns last week. The Patriots will need to throw a ton to keep up with the Chiefs powerful offense and quarterback Tom Brady could lean heavily on White in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 2 2:43am ET

New England Patriots RB James White carried the ball 14 times for 79 yards on Sunday, Dec. 1, against the Houston Texans. White also registered eight receptions for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Fantasy Spin: A week after logging just three touches for minus-one yard, White turned 22 combined touches into 177 yards and two scores. Such is life for a Patriots back as it's rarely clear what the plan will be. Of course, much of White's production came with the game seemingly out of reach against prevent coverage when he stayed on the field. White is probably the best of the Patriots backs, particularly in PPR leagues, and he could have some upside against the Chiefs.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 12:40am ET

New England Patriots running back James White carried the ball 14 times for 79 yards and added eight catches for 98 yards with two touchdowns in Week 13. The Patriots offense stalled against the Texans in this tough loss but White delivered plenty of yards in the second half. This was the type of performance fantasy owners have been waiting for from the veteran after seeing 25 touches in the game. The Patriots is suddenly struggling and quarterback Tom Brady sees White as one of his safety valves. While the offense sorts out its issues, this could be a boon for White in fantasy over the next few weeks.

From RotoBaller

Nov 26 6:40pm ET

New England Patriots running back James White will be looking to get his season back on track after posting one of the worst fantasy lines of his career in Week 12. White totaled negative yards from scrimmage against the Cowboys in a rain-soaked affair last week and now will face a Texans Defense that is allowing the 11th most fantasy points to running backs this season. White's productivity, and by extension the Patriots offense, is a far cry from last season's output and veteran has only two touchdowns this season after scoring 12 in 2018. White should be able to post positive yards in Week 13 but his fantasy value certainly is at a new low heading into the weekend's action.

From RotoBaller

Nov 25 12:50am ET

New England Patriots running back James White carried the ball twice for five yards and caught only one pass for negative-six yards in the Patriots 13-9 win over the Cowboys. Heavy rain hit the field for most of the game and offense was hard to find on both sides of the ball. The veteran White disappeared from the action early as teammate Sony Michel led the team with 20 carries. This is, by far, is White's worst fantasy performance of the season and should be downgraded in all formats heading into Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Nov 25 12:43am ET

New England Patriots RB James White ran twice for five yards and lost six yards on his only catch in Week 12 versus the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Spin: While the poor weather conditions - mostly wind and rain - made it difficult for either team to put together much of a passing attack, White's three targets in a game in which the Patriots were missing Mohamed Sanu (ankle) and Phillip Dorsett (concussion) was still very surprising. The 27-year-old scatback will almost certainly be a much bigger part of the game plan in Week 13 against the Houston Texans, but his recent usage in this offense makes him dicey even as a flex play.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 6:30pm ET

New England Patriots running back James White should see plenty of action in Week 12 against the Cowboys. Dallas' defense allows the 15th most fantasy points to opposing running backs and can be attacked in the check-down passing game. White could certainly serve a vital role with rain in the forecast for Sunday. Despite the somewhat favorable matchup, White has only two touchdowns this season. Without a score, the veteran back will be no more than a risky RB3/FLEX play in fantasy for Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 3:03am ET

New England Patriots RB James White carried five times for 20 yards and caught four of his seven targets for 16 yards in Week 11 versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Spin: Considering how good the Eagles' rush defense is, this should have been a James White game. However, it was a bad day for most of the Patriots' offense as Philadelphia played one of its better games on defense. Amazingly, White has scored only two touchdowns in 2019 after erupting for a career-high 12 last year. He'll be a low-end RB2 play at best in Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys.

From TheHuddle

Nov 17 8:20pm ET

New England Patriots running back James White had a season-low 16 receiving yards in Week 11 against the Eagles. He was second on the team in both targets (7) and receptions (4), but just couldn't find any running room. He also had five carries for 20 yards in the game and he scored a two-point conversion on a rushing play. White has caught at least four passes in all but two games this year, making him a solid RB2 in PPR formats. In non-PPR, he's more of a flex play as he has just two touchdowns on the year and he rarely tops 70 yards in a game.

From RotoBaller

Nov 14 1:30am ET

New England Patriots running back James White is coming off the bye week with 44 receptions for 404 yards this season heading into Week 11's action. The veteran will go up against an Eagles Defense that is allowing the eighth fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. The Eagles have been tough on the run all season and have surrendered only one receiving touchdown to an opposing running back all season. The Patriots will still look to exploit the underneath passing game and White should see a solid amount of targets. But don't expect the world out of White in fantasy for Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 12:43am ET

New England Patriots RB James White (toe) carried the ball nine times for 38 yards and a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Nov. 3. White also caught two passes for 46 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Eighty-four yards and a touchdown isn't a bad night's work for White, who would've had a second TD if he'd kept his footage on the penultimate play of the first half. It was easily the veteran's best game of the season on the ground, and it also marked the seventh time in his eight games that White has topped 45 yards receiving. He's at least a steady RB3 in PPR formats.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 12:30am ET

New England Patriots running back James White carried the ball nine times for 38 yards with 46 receiving yards and one rushing touchdown in the team's Week 9 loss to the Ravens. With the Patriots chasing a deficit for most of the game, the versatile White out-snapped starter Sony Michel. The veteran scored only his second touchdown of the season and his 84 yards from scrimmage represent his highest total since Week 1. White is far off course from the 12 total touchdowns he put up last season heading into the team's bye week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 7:03pm ET

New England Patriots RB James White (toe) is active for the Week 9 game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.

Fantasy Spin: White should see plenty of touches, especially in the pass game, making PPR fantasy owners happy. Rex Burkhead is active, as is Sony Michel, so don't expect many carries for White.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 11:30am ET

New England Patriots running back James White's (toe) injury is described as very minor, according to a source. White was listed as questionable for Sunday night against the Ravens after popping up on the injury report on Friday, but he's expected to suit up for the team's toughest opponent yet this season. White has done very little on the ground this year, but he's salvaged his stat lines on a weekly basis by catching the football often, and he's scored once through the air this year. He should continue to be an RB2/3 in PPR leagues, but he could lose a little more work in the passing game to Rex Burkhead on Sunday night.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 9:33am ET

New England Patriots RB James White's (toe) injury is considered minor but he is still listed as questionable for Week 9's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Spin: White was added to the injury report after injuring his toe in practice Friday, Nov. 1. When healthy, he is a viable flex choice for fantasy owners but he makes a very risky option this week because the Patriots don't play until Sunday night. As a result, owners would probably be better off using another flex option from one of Sunday's earlier games or having a different option from the Sunday or Monday night games on hand in case White is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 2:33pm ET

New England Patriots RB James White (toe) is listed as questionable for Week 9 but did make the trip Saturday, Nov. 2, to Baltimore.

Fantasy Spin: It's going to be extra tricky for White's fantasy owners as the Patriots don't play until Sunday night, and the running back's status won't be determined until pre-game warmups. Either have another flex option from the Sunday or Monday night games at the ready or roll with another option earlier Sunday and bypass the uncertainty with White.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 1:10pm ET

New England Patriots running back James White (toe), wide receiver Julian Edelman (chest, shoulder) and running back Rex Burkhead (foot) are questionable for Sunday night against the Ravens. Tight ends Ryan Izzo (concussion) and Matt LaCosse (knee) are also questionable. White is the one to watch here, as he was added to the injury report on Friday and was limited in practice. He has one receiving touchdown this year and his salvaged his fantasy value with receptions in PPR leagues, but he'll be more of an RB3/flex this week in danger of losing snaps to Burkhead. Burkhead would become an RB3/flex in PPR leagues if White sits. Edelman will play and has been a high-end WR2 all year. He'll have one of his toughest assignments of the year in Week 9, though, facing Baltimore cornerback Marlon Humphrey in the slot.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 5:53pm ET

New England Patriots RB James White (toe) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: White was added to the injury report Friday, so fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation over the next few days. He is a solid flex option in fantasy leagues when he is healthy.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 3:40pm ET

New England Patriots running back James White will go up against a Ravens Defense in Week 9 that has been stingy against opposing runners this season. Baltimore is allowing the ninth fewest fantasy points to opposing backs and have not allowed more than 47 receiving yards in a single game to a runner. But White could defy the numbers in Week 9 and has posted 34 receptions over his last five games. If the Patriots struggle to move the chains, quarterback Tom Brady could look to White in the passing game often. The veteran's value, however, will be maximized in PPR-leagues mostly and would need a touchdown to make his starting status worthwhile in standard formats.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 7:50pm ET

New England Patriots running back James White caught four passes for 75 yards in the team's 27-13 win over the Browns in Week 8. White set a season-high in receiving yards thanks to a dynamite 59-yard reception in the second half. The veteran now has 34 receptions for 283 yards over his last five games but only has one touchdown on the season. White's production compared to last season has lowered dramatically but the veteran is still a huge part of an efficient offense. His lack of touchdowns, however, severely affects his value moving forward.
