Nov 18 3:13am ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman hauled in five of his 10 targets for 53 yards in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also threw for a 15-yard touchdown on his only pass attempt.

Fantasy Spin: The receiving yardage total was his lowest since Week 7, but offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels helped saved his fantasy day by dialing up a trick play for the former college quarterback to throw a touchdown pass that ultimately led to Phillip Dorsett getting hurt. With at least 10 targets in five consecutive contests and at least five receptions in six straight, Edelman is a rock-solid WR2 with WR1 upside. Expect similar production in Week 12 versus the Dallas Cowboys.

From TheHuddle

Nov 17 8:30pm ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was the only Patriot to throw for a touchdown in Week 11 against the Eagles. Yep, you read that right. On a trick play, Edelman completed a 15-yard pass to Phillip Dorsett that would be the Patriots' only touchdown in the game. The Patriots struggled to move the ball in the game as Tom Brady mustered just 216 passing yards and the team only rushed for 74 yards. Edelman still came out all right, in part due to the touchdown pass, but he also led the team in receptions (5), receiving yards (53) and targets (10).

From RotoBaller

Nov 14 1:40am ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will get a juicy matchup in Week 11 against a leaky Eagles secondary. Edelman has been as solid as a rock all season, posting 63 receptions for 663 yards and four touchdowns through his first nine games this season. Now he will face an Eagles Defense that is allowing the eighth most fantasy points to opposing receivers this season. They have surrendered 12 touchdowns to receivers and 11 different receivers have scored 10-plus fantasy points against them. The Patriots passing game should be able to exploit the Eagles, making Edelman a low-end WR1 for Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 1:13am ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest, shoulder) had 10 receptions (on 11 targets) for 89 yards during a Week 9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman made some nice grabs, but his fumble as the team was marching to take the lead was an absolute killer as it was returned 70 yards for a TD to put Baltimore up 11, a lead they'd never relinquish. Ultimately, though, it's a blip on the radar for the reliable Edelman, who remains Tom Brady's favorite target and should serve as a WR1/WR2 for the rest of the season.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 12:20am ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman caught 10 passes for 89 yards in the Patriots 37-20 loss to the Ravens in Week 9. The team played from behind for most of the game but drew within 17-13 at the half. But Edelman's fumble that was recovered for a touchdown by the Ravens Defense got the team off to a rough second-half start that they ultimately couldn't recover from. Despite the costly turnover, Edelman now has at least seven receptions in six of his last seven games. For the season, the veteran will head into the team's bye week with 63 receptions for 663 yards and four touchdowns.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 7:13pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest, shoulder) is officially active for the team's Week 9 game.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman is one of the top receivers in the NFL and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 4:10pm ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will take on a Ravens Defense in Week 9 that is allowing the 13th most fantasy points to receivers this season. Edelman is on pace for 106 receptions this season and should have a very active game Sunday night. The Ravens have allowed only five touchdowns to receivers all season but have allowed 12 different receivers to post more than eight fantasy points against them. That baseline is easily achievable for Edelman and will be a safe WR2 play in Week 9.

From RotoBaller

Oct 31 7:33pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest, shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman is in no danger of missing the Week 9 game and should be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 4:53pm ET

New England Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (foot), S Patrick Chung (heel, chest), WR Julian Edelman (chest, shoulder), TE Ryan Izzo (concussion), TE Matt LaCosse (knee), OG Shaq Mason (ankle) and WR Gunner Olszewski (ankle, hamstring) were limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 31.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 5:03pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest/shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman caught eight of 11 targets for 78 yards and two touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8. He's a must-start if active, and he should be in Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 11:53pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman caught eight of his 11 targets for 78 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-13 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: The New England receiving corps has been a banged up all year, but Edelman has been the one constant. He is on pace for more than 100 catches and 1,000 yards, making him a high-end WR2 with WR1 potential in PPR formats.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 7:40pm ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman caught eight passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots 27-13 win over the Browns. The veteran receiver saw 11 targets in the game and came up with some timely receptions. Edelman for the season now has four touchdowns with 53 receptions for 574 yards at the halfway point of the Patriots season.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 3:23pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) is officially active for the team's Week 8 game.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman continues to be one of the most reliable option in fantasy leagues and is a must-start option in all leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 4:13pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is listed as questionable for Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman has been questionable for the last several weeks but will be able to handle his normal workload this week. He will be facing a solid group of cornerbacks this week but can still be a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 7:03pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 24.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman likely will be on the injury report for most of the season but will be in no danger of missing games. He can be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 4:53pm ET

New England Patriots TEs Ryan Izzo (concussion) and Matt LaCosse (knee) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 24. OL Shaquille Mason (ankle), RB Rex Burkhead (foot), S Patrick Chung (heel, chest), WR Julian Edelman (chest) and WR Gunner Olszewski (ankle, hamstring) were limited. WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) was upgraded to a full practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 4:40pm ET

Cleveland Browns cornerbacks Denzel Ward (hamstring) and Greedy Williams (hamstring) were both practicing in full on Thursday, signaling that they'll return in Week 8 against the Patriots after sitting out since Week 2. It's good news for Cleveland's secondary as they try to spring the upset on the undefeated Patriots on the road. New England's receiving corps is a bit suspect now that Josh Gordon (knee) is out of the picture. It'll likely be Julian Edelman, rookie Jakobi Meyers and newly acquired Mohamed Sanu in three-wide sets this weekend. The Browns Defense/special teams should be avoided by fantasy owners.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 4:30pm ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman should be front and center in the passing game in Week 8 against the Browns. The Browns Defense has allowed the 14th fewest fantasy points to receivers this season, but Edelman has been as steady as they come. The veteran receiver has been excellent the past three games, averaging eight receptions for 90 yards during that span. The Patriots wide receiver group is in flux currently with Josh Gordon (knee) out of the picture, which should benefit Edelman even more. The veteran will be a solid WR2 choice in Week 8.

From RotoBaller

Oct 23 4:33pm ET

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Fantasy Spin: Edelman received 12 targets last week. He caught seven but for just 47 yards as he didn't seem to be quite at full health. He's a must-start in PPR formats but fantasy managers in standard leagues will want to see him get in a full practice session this week.

From TheHuddle

Oct 22 3:00am ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman caught seven passes for 47 yards in the Patriots 33-0 rout of the Jets in Week 7. Edelman saw a team-high 12 targets in the game and racked up 20 rushing yards on three carries. The Patriots built a huge lead and the need for explosive plays in the passing game was deemed inconsequential. The veteran receiver now has at least seven catches in each of his last three games and will head into Week 8 with 45 receptions, 496 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
