The Baltimore Ravens are re-signing outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy to a two-year deal worth up to $9 million. His new contract will pay him $5.25 million in 2024. Originally selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of BYU, Van Noy has appeared in games for five organizations. In 142 games with the Lions, Patriots, Dolphins, Chargers, and Ravens, he has racked up 500 tackles (338 solo), 42.5 sacks, 12 forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries, three interceptions, one defensive touchdown, and 28 run stuffs. In his lone season with Baltimore, he set a career-high in sacks with nine. The 33-year-old is likely at the tail end of his career, but the Ravens are ensuring he's on the roster to help disrupt quarterbacks in 2024 and 2025.

Free-agent LB Jadeveon Clowney (Ravens) and LB Kyle Van Noy (Ravens) are players Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh would like to re-sign this offseason. Harbaugh said he hopes the team will be able to bring back at least one of the players.

The Baltimore Ravens signed free-agent inside linebacker Chris Board to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday, according to sources. Board is returning to the organization that signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2018 out of North Dakota State to begin his NFL career. The 28-year-old played the first four seasons of his career with the Ravens from 2018-21 before one-year stops with the Detroit Lions in 2022 and the New England Patriots in 2023. He's played in a total of 97 games since entering the league but has made only three starts. In 17 games last year for the Pats, Board had only 10 tackles (seven solo) while mostly playing on special teams. He'll provide the Ravens with a special-teams presence in 2024.

In another move to create salary cap savings this offseason, the Baltimore Ravens are releasing veteran outside linebacker Tyus Bowser (knee) on Wednesday, according to sources. The move will create around $5.5 million of salary cap space for 2024. The 28-year-old didn't play at all last year due to a knee injury and has played in just nine games for Baltimore in the last two years. Bowser has been a bust since the Ravens took him in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft out of Houston. In his six years played in the NFL, he has 152 tackles (93 solo), 19.5 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, 48 QB hits, four interceptions and a forced fumble in 89 games (23 starts). If Bowser can prove he's healthy and past his knee and Achilles issues, he could play a rotational role on defense with another team in 2024.

The Baltimore Ravens are re-signing linebacker Malik Harrison to an undisclosed one-year deal on Monday, according to a source. In the fourth and final year of his rookie season in 2023, Harrison contributed a career-low 20 tackles (13 solo) in 14 regular-season games (eight starts), but he'll return to the Ravens anyway. The former third-round selection in 2020 out of Ohio State has been a disappointment in his first four NFL seasons so far, accumulating 120 tackles (73 solo), no sacks, four tackles for loss and one pass defensed in 61 games played (27 starts). Harrison has mostly been a rotational player for the Ravens on defense so far in his career, but that could change in 2024 with both Patrick Queen and Kyle Van Noy likely departing.

The Baltimore Ravens placed their franchise tag on defensive tackle Justin Madubuike on Tuesday. Madubuike had 13 sacks last season, the most by a Ravens player in nine years. He also tied an NFL record by recording at least half a sack in 11 straight games in 2023. If the two sides don't agree on a multi-year contract extension by mid-July, the 26-year-old pass-rusher will earn $22.1 million guaranteed for the 2024 season. In addition to his team-high 13 sacks, the former third-round pick had a career-high 56 tackles (38 solo), 12 tackles for loss, 33 QB hits and a forced fumble in 17 regular-season games. It was enough to make him a top-20 defensive lineman in IDP fantasy leagues in his breakout campaign. In his first three NFL seasons combined, Madubuike had just 8.5 sacks, so it's fair to wonder if he can keep this up.

Baltimore Ravens safety Geno Stone is in a prime position as he enters free agency this offseason after finishing second in the NFL with seven interceptions in 2023. The Ravens already have two quality starting safeties in All-Pro Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams, too, which decreases the chances that Stone will return to the Ravens in 2024. Stone has made it clear he wants to start and proved his ability to play at a high level when Williams missed time due to injury. "Geno might be the best seventh-round pick that we've ever had -; playmaker, attitude, special teams," general manager Eric DeCosta said. "I love his cerebral nature, I love his attitude on the field. He fancies himself an overachiever; I love that about him."

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that outside linebacker Odafe Oweh (thumb) recently had surgery on his thumb, while offensive tackle Morgan Moses (shoulder) is debating whether he'll have offseason surgery. Oweh, who also missed four games with an ankle injury in 2023, is expected to be out for six to eight weeks while recovering from his thumb surgery, so the 2021 first-rounder should be ready for training camp this summer and the start of the 2024 season. The 32-year-old Moses dealt with his shoulder injury for the last four months but still managed to play in 16 of the team's 19 games. The shoulder injury obviously wasn't too serious, but it's unclear how much time he'd have to miss this offseason if he eventually ends up going under the knife. Oweh tied his career-high of five sacks set in his rookie season and also had 23 tackles (20 solo) and 12 QB hits in his third NFL season.

The Baltimore Ravens signed running back Owen Wright, wide receiver Sean Ryan, tight end Scotty Washington, offensive linemen TyKeem Doss and Tashawn Manning, inside linebacker Josh Ross, defensive linemen Rayshad Nichols and Bravvion Roy and defensive back Christian Matthew to Reserve/Futures deals on Tuesday. All nine players finished the 2023 season on Baltimore's practice squad. Wright, 24, who went undrafted out of Monmouth, played eight special-teams snaps on Oct. 29 against the Minnesota Vikings. Ryan, 25, was undrafted out of Rutgers and spent all of the 2023 season on Baltimore's practice squad. Washington, 26, has played in just one NFL game in four years, playing 22 offensive snaps with the New England Patriots in 2022.

Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey (calf) is expected to play in the AFC Championship Game versus the Kansas City Chiefs. He had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging two limited practice sessions and one full session during the week.

Jan 27 7:40pm ET

Baltimore Ravens defensive back Marlon Humphrey (calf) is expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. This is a welcoming sight considering Humphrey has missed the last two games. Luckily, it appears Humphrey will be ready to go in time for this AFC Championship game. He'll join this Ravens secondary that has been one of the best in the league. This Ravens defense unit is the most expensive in DFS contests but could be worth it for this weekend's slate.
