Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore finished his sophomore season with 87 catches on 135 targets for 1,175 yards after logging 55 receptions on 82 targets for 788 yards as a rookie.

Fantasy Spin: The jump in production from Moore is encouraging, especially when you consider that he missed almost two full games and had to deal with an injury to starting quarterback Cam Newton. Moore will head into 2020 as a WR2 in all fantasy formats.

The Carolina Panthers have declared LB Christian Miller, CB Corn Elder, LB Shaq Thompson, WR D.J. Moore, DE Marquis Haynes, OT Matt Kaskey and DL Woodrow Hamilton inactive for Week 17.

Dec 27 2:23pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore (concussion) and LB Shaq Thompson (foot) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 17 versus the New Orleans Saints. CB Corn Elder (illness) popped up on the injury report and did not practice Friday, Dec. 27; he is listed as questionable. LB/DE Marquis Haynes (knee) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. LB Andre X. Smith (ankle), DT Gerald McCoy (knee), TE Ian Thomas (ankle), S Tre Boston (shoulder), LB/DE Brian Burns (shoulder), TE Greg Olsen (knee), DT Kyle Love (ankle) and DT Woodrow Hamilton (illness) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Dec 27 1:30pm ET

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (concussion) and linebacker Shaq Thompson (shoulder) have been ruled out for Week 17 against the Saints. With nothing on the line in the regular season finale, this shouldn't come as a big surprise. Thompson underwent a procedure on his shoulder on Thursday. In his second season, Moore was the team's best wideout, securing 87 catches (135 targets) for 1,175 yards and four touchdowns, and that came with quarterback Cam Newton (foot) out for most of the year. If Newton returns in 2020 and stays healthy, Moore could improve on those numbers. Curtis Samuel and Jarius Wright will be the top two wideouts for Week 17 against New Orleans.

Dec 27 1:13pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore (concussion) on Friday, Dec. 27, was ruled out of the team's Week 17 game against the New Orleans Saints with a concussion.

Fantasy Spin: Moore's standout sophomore season (87 receptions-1,175 yards-4 TDs) has come to an early end, leaving TE Greg Olsen and WRs Curtis Samuel, Jarius Wright and Chris Hogan as the main passing-game targets in Carolina.

From TheHuddle

Dec 26 3:03pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore (concussion) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 26.

Fantasy Spin: Moore will not play in the Week 17 game unless he clears the concussion protocol in the next day or two. Fantasy players can monitor the situation but should look for other options to use in their lineups.

Dec 26 2:53pm ET

Carolina Panthers LB/DE Marquis Haynes (knee), WR D.J. Moore (concussion) and LB Shaq Thompson (foot) did not practice Thursday, Dec. 26. S Tre Boston (shoulder) and TE Greg Olsen (knee) were limited). LB Andre X. Smith (ankle), DT Gerald McCoy (knee), TE Ian Thomas (ankle), LB/DE Brian Burns (shoulder), DT Woodrow Hamilton (illness) and DT Kyle Love (ankle) practiced in full.

From TheHuddle

Dec 25 5:43pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Fantasy Spin: Moore only has a few days to clear the concussion protocol, so he should be considered questionable for Week 17. Fantasy players should look for other options for their lineups and can keep Moore on the bench.

From TheHuddle

Dec 24 12:40pm ET

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (concussion) wasn't seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Tuesday, and it's looking like he won't play in Week 17 against the Saints after entering the concussion protocol last Sunday. Moore caught just one pass for a yard before leaving the Week 16 game. With nothing on the line in the season finale, expect the Panthers to rest their second-year wideout. Moore has 87 receptions for 1,175 yards and four touchdowns in his second year in the NFL, and that came with quarterback Cam Newton (foot) missing most of the season. If he misses the final game, Curtis Samuel and Jarius Wright will be the top two wideouts for rookie QB Will Grier against New Orleans.

Dec 24 12:13pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore (concussion) was out of practice Tuesday, Dec. 24. He's unlikely to play in Week 17 after entering the concussion protocol Sunday, Dec. 22.

Fantasy Spin: Curtis Samuel may see a few more targets against the New Orleans Saints, but there really isn't any Panthers receiver worth starting in fantasy.

From TheHuddle

Dec 22 2:30pm ET

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (concussion) will not return to the Week 16 game against the Colts after suffering a concussion. Moore caught one of two targets for a measly one yard before his head injury, so he'll wind up being a Week 16 fantasy bust at the worst time. Curtis Samuel and Jarius Wright will be the top two pass-catchers the rest of the way, but don't expect much from them with rookie quarterback Will Grier making his first NFL start. Tight end Greg Olsen and running back Christian McCaffrey should see increased usage as well with Moore out.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 2:23pm ET

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore (concussion) suffered a concussion during the Week 16 game and will not return.

Fantasy Spin: Moore will be questionable for the Week 17 game since he will have to pass the concussion tests before he is cleared to play. Fantasy players probably should look for other options for their lineups next week.

From TheHuddle

Dec 22 2:20pm ET

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (concussion) suffered a head injury in Week 16 against the Colts and is being evaluated for a concussion. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to return in this game, but it would obviously be a huge loss for fantasy owners on championship weekend. Moore caught one of his two targets for just one yard before leaving the game. If he doesn't return, Curtis Samuel, Jarius Wright and tight end Greg Olsen should see more targets from rookie quarterback Will Grier. The Panthers will also likely lean heavily on running back Christian McCaffrey in the passing game.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 2:03pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore (head) left the Week 16 game early and is being evaluated for a concussion.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Moore will be cleared to play. He will be questionable for the Week 17 game if he diagnosed with a concussion.

From TheHuddle

Dec 15 10:03pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore finished with eight catches for 113 yards on 12 targets in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Spin: That's four 100-yard games in the past seven outings, and at least 75 yards in all seven during the span. He is a legit WR2 in PPR formats, and a nice WR3 or flex option in standard play. The Panthers travel to meet the Colts in Week 16.

From TheHuddle

Dec 15 7:50pm ET

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore finished by collecting eight of his 10 targets for 113 yards during the loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. After a subpar Week 14 performance, Moore got it together despite his team having nothing left to play for. With at least six catches in 10 games this year, he remains a must-start moving ahead, especially for those in PPR formats.

From RotoBaller

Dec 14 10:00am ET

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore has been one of the league's most productive wideouts in 2019 and will look continue that trend on Sunday against a Seahawks Defense that has allowed a middle-of-the-pack 35.43 fantasy points to his position. Moore didn't have the best outing in Week 14, finishing with just four catches for 81 yards. Despite this, the 22-year-old has remained relatively consistent and has been targeted at least eight times in 10 games this year, while receiving double-digit looks in seven games. He is a solid option in all formats in Week 15 but should be considered a must-start in PPR formats.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 6:03pm ET

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore caught four passes for 82 yards on six targets at the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14 on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Spin: Moore has been quite the PPR option all season, going for double digits in his "down" games. The Panthers head to Seattle in Week 15, and he's a WR2 in any format that rewards receptions.

From TheHuddle

Dec 7 4:10am ET

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore has been one of the most productive fantasy options as of late and will look to keep things moving against Atlanta on Sunday. After recording just one touchdown throughout his first 10 games of the season, Moore has three over the last two weeks. He hasn't been targeted less than eight times in each of his previous eight games and should retain his must-start status in all fantasy formats in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 2 3:10am ET

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore picked up right where he left off in Week 12, hauling in 6-of-12 targets for 75 yards and one touchdown in the Panthers Week 13 loss to the Washington Redskins. Moore has not seen less than nine targets in any of the six games since the Panthers bye. In fact, the last time Moore saw less than eight targets in a game was all the way back in Week 4. That's WR1 volume, with Moore backing it up with near WR1 production. Moore is averaging a ridiculous 103 yards over his last five games, with three scores during that time. Heading into the fantasy playoffs, this is the type of guy you want on your team. Moore will slot in as a mid-range WR1 in Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons.
