White got some chances to start last year with the Jets and played pretty well. He had two games with 23-plus fantasy points and two 300-yard passing games, including a three-touchdown game in Week 12. He started just four games but managed to top 1,100-passing yards. He had some turnover issues, throwing, throwing four interceptions compared to three touchdown passes. He also completed just 58.9 percent of his passes. He also had a hard time staying healthy. But even with that said, White showed enough to earn a contract this offseason with the Dolphins to take over as their top backup. White has a good arm and isn't afraid to take chances down the field. He is an accurate quarterback with a quick release. White can be careless with the football, though, and take unnecessary risks.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: White has made plays when given a chance to start, so if that happens again, he can be worth a wavier-wire add. He is capable of the big game. And remember, he will backup of Tua Tagovailoa, who couldn't stay healthy last year.
