Nov 17 11:30pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell carried the ball 18 times for 59 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Redskins. Bell also had two catches in the game to give him 20 total touches for the seventh time in 11 games this season. This is the second straight good-not-great performance from Bell where he saved his fantasy day with a touchdown. It's fair to wonder if the Jets start to split carries more with Bilal Powell, the latter received seven carries for the second straight week. Powell averaged six yards per carry to Bell's 3.3 so they may rely more on the fresh legs more moving forward. Despite the inefficiency from Bell, his typical volume makes him a must-start RB in fantasy.

Nov 17 8:53pm ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell ran 18 times for 59 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Washington Redskins and he added two grabs for 33 yards on his two targets.

Fantasy Spin: Bell has been a bright spot for the Jets this season. While he hasn't had a lot of giant stat lines, he has been consistent and decent as a RB2 in most fantasy leagues. The Jets have a favorable matchup against the Oakland Raiders in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 17 12:00pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (knee, illness, ribs) and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) are both active for Week 11 against the Redskins. Bell continues to fight through injuries in a disappointing first season with Gang Green, but he has another opportunity to break out against a weak Redskins front. He'll have low-end RB1/high-end RB2 appeal. If Bell can't get it done today for fantasy owners, there's not much hope that he'll be an RB1 the rest of the way. Thomas had a decent day in Week 10 but remains third on the receiver depth chart behind Jamison Crowder and Robby Anderson. Despite the good matchup, Thomas is a low-upside WR4/5 in deeper fantasy leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 11:53am ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (illness, knee, ribs) is officially active for the team's Week 11 game.

Fantasy Spin: Bell has been a big part of the offense for the Jets and should continue to receive a significant amount of touches. He will have a favorable matchup this week and is a must-start option in all leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 17 8:43am ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (illness, knee, ribs) is expected to play in Week 11's game against the Washington Redskins, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Bell had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in two of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. He has a favorable matchup versus Washington and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 15 6:33pm ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (illness, knee, ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

Fantasy Spin: Bell likely will be able to play this week, but fantasy players should keep an eye on his status over the next few days. He has not been as productive this season as he has in the past but should still be a starting option in all leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 15 4:10pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (knee, illness, ribs) and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) were both limited in practice the last two days and are questionable for Week 11 against the Redskins. Barring a late setback, both players are fully expected to suit up. Bell has been a disappointment to fantasy owners in his first year with Gang Green, but he has another great chance to put up numbers this Sunday against a bad Redskins Defense. Thomas has been better than Robby Anderson of late, but he's still more of a low-upside WR4/5 in a shaky Jets offense.

From RotoBaller

Nov 15 3:43pm ET

New York Jets LB C.J. Mosley (groin), DB Matthias Farley (quad), OL Ryan Kalil (knee) and LB Paul Worrilow (quad) were unable to practice Friday, Nov. 15, and have been ruled out for Week 11 against the New York Jets. CB Darryl Roberts (calf) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. RB Le'Veon Bell (ribs, knee, illness), LB Brandon Copeland (hip, thumb), LB Neville Hewitt (neck, knee), OL Alex Lewis (elbow), DL Steve McLendon (neck), OL Kelvin Beachum (ankle) and WR Demaryius Thomas (knee, hamstring) were limited in practice Friday and are listed as questionable. DL Henry Anderson (shoulder) was upgraded to full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. WR Robby Anderson was a limited participant in practice all week but no longer appears on the injury report. RB Josh Adams (illness), QB Sam Darnold (thumb), WR Jamison Crowder (knee, quad), WR Braxton Berrios (hamstring, hip), TE Ryan Griffin (ankle), OL Tom Compton (back), LB Jordan Jenkins (calf), DB Blessuan Austin (knee) and DB Nate Hairston (thumb, knee) fully participated in practice Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 15 2:10pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (illness) will be a low-end RB1 in a good matchup with the Redskins this Sunday. He was limited this week in practice with an illness, but head coach Adam Gase has said he expects Bell to be fine to suit up. The Jets have struggled to run the ball this season but Bell has been heavily used playing over 89 percent of the team's offensive snaps and has been heavily involved in the passing game as well. Assuming he gets his usual 20-plus touches Bell will be must-start in a matchup with a Redskins Defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.

From RotoBaller

Nov 15 11:33am ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (knee, illness) will be limited again in practice Friday, Nov. 15.

Fantasy Spin: Bell is likely to be questionable, but it's hard to see him not playing. The Washington Redskins are a solid matchup, and he'll be a great RB2.

From TheHuddle

Nov 14 12:00pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (ribs) will be limited in practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. The Jets were just giving Bell a breather in practice on Wednesday, so you should expect him to be fine for Week 11 against the Redskins. The team's starting running back probably isn't 100 percent at this point in the season, but he should be treated as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 for a glorious matchup with Washington's porous defense this Sunday. Bell is still searching for a statement game in his first season with Gang Green, and he's averaging a disappointing 3.1 yards per carry through 10 weeks. His fantasy owners are hoping this will be his breakout game.

From RotoBaller

Nov 14 11:13am ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (ribs) will be limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

Fantasy Spin: Bell would have a decent matchup against the Washington Redskins this week if he's good to go. He'll be a great RB2.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 9:20pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (knee, illness, ribs) did not practice on Wednesday. Bell should be able to play in Week 11 against the Redskins, but he's clearly not 100 percent. He found the end zone last Sunday, but his overall line still had to be considered a disappointment considering he was going up against the Giants Defense. He has another great opportunity with Washington next up on the schedule, making him a low-end RB1 for fantasy owners. Hopefully this is the game that Bell breaks out in his first season with the Jets.

From RotoBaller

Nov 13 5:23pm ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (ribs, knee, illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Fantasy Spin: Bell probably will return to practice later this week and should be in uniform for Week 11. He has received at least 20 touches in each of the last two games and will have a favorable matchup this week. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 5:20pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (illness) was not at practice Wednesday. It's not uncommon for veteran players to miss Wednesday's practice and head coach Adam Gase told reporters the illness is not serious, so it sounds like Bell is in no real danger of missing the game Sunday. Bell will be a low-end RB1 in a good matchup against a Redskins Defense that is top-10 in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 6:23pm ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries against the New York Giants in Week 10. He also caught four passes for 34 yards during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Bell picked up only his second rushing touchdown of the season this week and has rushed for at least 70 yards in only one of his nine games. He is still a big part of the offense and can be a starting option in all leagues next week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 5:10pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell rushed 18 times for only 34 yards and made four catches for an additional 34 yards in a win over the Giants Sunday. He could get nothing going on the ground today consistently getting hit in the backfield playing behind a decimated offensive line. However, Bell was able to salvage fantasy production with a 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter after defensive pass interference in the end zone set the Jets up at the goal line. Bell owners should monitor his usage going forward as Bilal Powell had seven carries in the game and Bell was sitting out some offensive series. With the Jets out of playoff contention, it's fair to wonder how hard they work Bell down the stretch, but he should still see enough volume to put up high-end RB2 numbers moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 12:10pm ET

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (knee) and tight end Chris Herndon (hamstring) are both active for their Week 10 battle against the New York Giants. Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) will also suit up for Gang Green. All three were expected to play, but it's always nice to get the official confirmation. Bell should produce RB1 numbers against the Giants' 28th-ranked rushing defense. Herndon is a risky TE2 against a Giants Defense that's been surprisingly adept at defending tight ends. Thomas is not a recommended option in Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 11:53am ET

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (ankle, knee) is officially active for the team's Week 10 game.

Fantasy Spin: Bell likely will receive plenty of work this week and will have a favorable matchup. He should be a starting option in all leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 1:30am ET

The New York Jets should have running back Le'Veon Bell (knee/ankle) for Sunday's game against the Giants. Bell had a mid-week MRI that put his playing status in question, but the veteran back should be a full go on Sunday as he searches for his first 100-yard rushing game of the season. He's topped four yards per carry just once, but the Giants Defense does offer a good chance for him to put together a solid stat line like he did against Miami in Week 9, when he had 66 rushing and 55 receiving yards.
