Meredith was slowed by knee issues once again, eventually needing cleanup surgery on his knee that was already repaired because of a torn ACL. He had nine receptions for 114 yards in six games last year. He hopes to get healthy and move up the depth chart this year. Meredith is a talented player that had 888 yards in 14 games with the Bears in 2016. The potential is there for him if he is healthy and getting playing time. Meredith is a tall receiver with good speed that does a good job of stretching the field. He can still use some work running routes but is quickly improving in that area to become a more well-rounded receiver.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Meredith is a wild card because of his injury issues. But he is worth a late-round look because of his potential. He could surprise if healthy and getting targets. For now, expect around 35 receptions for 500 yards and a few scores.

Meredith had a breakout year in 2016 with the Bears but then missed all of 2017 with his knee injury and played in only six games with the Saints in 2018, catching nine passes for 114 yards and a touchdown as a complete non-factor. If he doesn't prove his health this summer, Meredith is in danger of not making the final roster.
