Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert has had a disappointing 2019. With just 15 receptions for 108 yards and a score, many were expecting the veteran to regain some traction this season after injuries plagued the team on the offensive end. However, Eifert remains a bust despite remaining healthy this season after spending a massive amount of time on injured reserve throughout the years. The upside is there against the Jaguars, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect much on Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 3:33pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert has stayed healthy this season but has not been a big factor in the passing game. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 2:33pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals OT Cordy Glenn (non-injury), OT Andre Smith (ankle), OG John Miller (groin), DE Carl Lawson (hamstring), CB Dre Kirkpatrick (knee), CB William Jackson III (shoulder) and WR A.J. Green (ankle) did not practice Friday, Oct. 18, and have been ruled out for Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. DE Carlos Dunlap (knee) also did not practice and is listed as doubtful. S Shawn Williams (thigh) and DT Ryan Glasgow (thigh) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. DT Geno Atkins (rest) and TE Tyler Eifert (rest) were not given practice designations Friday but have also been removed from the injury report.

Oct 17 10:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert has drawn interest from the New Orleans Saints as a potential trade target, according to league sources.

Fantasy Spin: With a long injury history, Eifert has managed just 15 catches for 108 yards in six games while playing limited snaps this year. A move to New Orleans would boost his ceiling a bit, but he'd remain a touchdown-dependent TE2.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 10:10pm ET

The New Orleans Saints are doing their due diligence in making phone calls to see what's available on the trade market. Wide receiver and tight end seem to be the most likely options for them on the trade market, and they could be targeting Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert now that he is fully healthy. The Saints already have Jared Cook at tight end, but they could utilize more two-tight end sets if they were to acquire Eifert, especially since they don't have a ton of receiver depth behind Michael Thomas. In a bad Cincy offense this year, Eifert has just 15 receptions (22 targets) for 108 yards and one touchdown. He'd be more attractive in New Orleans in the second half of the season, but he wouldn't be guaranteed to be a TE1 with Cook also in the fold.

From RotoBaller

Oct 17 7:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert has posted only 108 yards and one touchdown in six games this season and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 5:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap (knee), WR A.J. Green (ankle), CB William Jackson III (shoulder), CB Dre Kirkpatrick (knee), DE Carl Lawson (hamstring), OG John Miller (groin), OT Andre Smith (ankle) and OT Cordy Glenn (non-injury) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 17. S Shawn Williams (thigh) was limited. TE Tyler Eifert (rest), DT Geno Atkins (rest) and DT Ryan Glasgow (thigh) each logged a full practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 4:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (rest) didn't practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert has been a major disappointment this season with just 108 yards and one touchdown through six games. He isn't a safe option in any fantasy format.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 6:33pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert went for just 13 yards on two catches on his two targets in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert is worth using as a low-end TE2 at best in fantasy leagues heading into Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was once a great threat in the red zone when healthy. Injuries haven't been a concern this season, but he is just too inconsistent to rely upon regularly in most leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 5:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert caught both of his targets for 13 yards during the loss to the Ravens. With A.J. Green (ankle) and John Ross (shoulder) out of the lineup recently, expectations were high for the injury-plagued veteran who once had 13 touchdowns in a season (2015) to get some additional looks from Andy Dalton. However, he has been a disappointment from a fantasy perspective, to say the least, and has little value, if any, moving forward, especially with Green anticipated to return against the Jaguars in Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 8:40am ET

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert needs to pick things up against Baltimore in Week 6. After producing his only score of the year in Week 2 against the 49ers, Eifert has been a non-factor despite remaining healthy. With the team down a plethora of options on the offensive end, Andy Dalton could look to the veteran more often against the Ravens; however, he will need to capitalize if he wishes to remain on fantasy rosters moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 10:00pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert played miserably during the loss to the Cardinals on Sunday, finishing with just two receptions for 14 yards. With A.J. Green (foot) and John Ross (shoulder) out of the lineup, Eifert was expected to pick up the slack while serving behind Tyler Boyd, who had 10 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. While fantasy managers were hoping for a turnaround season in 2019, Eifert has failed to meet expectations. Time is running out for the veteran to start producing, but with the Bengals' dysfunctional offensive play this season, owners may want to look elsewhere for production.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 5:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert managed just two grabs for 14 yards on four targets in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert was disappointing, as the Cardinals have been poor against the tight ends, but he was completely shut down. In fact, even C.J. Uzomah outperformed him statistically (2-16-0) slightly. Eifert cannot be trusted regularly outside of deeper fantasy leagues heading into Week 6 in Baltimore.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 4:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert could see more looks on Sunday against the Cardinals. With A.J. Green (ankle) and John Ross III (shoulder) not in the lineup, the veteran could serve as the No. 2 option behind wide receiver Tyler Boyd. Eifert was targeted five times in Week 4, and after narrowly missing a touchdown reception, he finished with just two receptions for 27 yards against the Steelers. With so many inconsistencies at the tight end position this season, the 29-year-old still has value as he is a threat whenever he is on the field. If you need a streamer in Week 5, Eifert could be your man against a weak Cardinals Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 1 12:33am ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert had two grabs for 27 yards on five targets in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had a rare drop in the first quarter, his first since Nov. 6, 2015.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert has registered 11 catches for just 81 yards on 16 targets with one touchdown through four games. He is barely a blip on the radar even in the deepest of fantasy leagues at this point. The Bengals host the Cardinals in Week 5.

From TheHuddle

Oct 1 12:10am ET

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert was targeted five times in Week 4 against the Steelers, hauling in just two of them for 27 yards. Eifert was targeted in the end zone once, but he failed to catch the pass. The Bengals tight end remains a touchdown-dependent streaming option at the tight end position in deeper leagues.

From RotoBaller

Sep 28 8:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert has only been targeted by Andy Dalton on 11 passes through the first three games of the season. Eifert has been able to haul in nine of those passes for an unimpressive 6.0 yards per catch. The Steelers have been stingy against tight ends so far this season, giving up just 41 yards receiving per game to the position, but they did surrender two touchdowns to Seattle Seahawks tight end Will Dissly in Week 2. Eifert remains a touchdown-dependent streaming option at tight end in deeper leagues.

From RotoBaller

Sep 28 4:43pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (non-injury) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert caught only one pass in the last game and has only posted nine receptions and 54 yards this season. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Sep 27 6:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Eifert likely will receive some targets in the passing game this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 22 9:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert caught his only target for 18 yards in a 21-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: The good news is that Eifert has remained healthy through three games, but he has yet to finish with more than 27 yards in a game. He is no more than a touchdown-dependent TE2 for fantasy purposes.
