Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill saw more work in the passing game compared to the run game yet again in their seven-point loss in the AFC Championship game. Hill only received three carries which he turned into three yards. He also received seven targets in which he caught four of them for 34 yards. Since the Ravens abandoned the run game early on, he didn't get many opportunities to get into a rhythm on the ground. His routes mainly consisted of screen passes and checkdowns, so he wasn't seeing many big plays either. Hill remained inconsistent this season, but he saw career highs in almost every category across the board both on the ground and through the air. If he isn't within the top two on the depth chart next year, he likely won't be worth a draft pick in redraft fantasy leagues.

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill has taken over the backfield over the last four games including their divisional game against the Houston Texans. He received more carries and was more efficient in the passing game compared to his counterpart Gus Edwards. Hill has looked explosive and has been able to find the open areas of the field outside of the red zone. The next thing he needs to do to be a surefire start at running back in DFS is find the end zone which will only happen if he does it before they get down to the red zone. He has a good chance of doing so against a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has shown holes in their run defense compared to their top-notch pass defense. Hill could be a sneaky flex option for DFS managers in this AFC Championship matchup.

His 13 carries matched a season-high, and his 66 rushing yards marked his highest in a game all season, surpassing his previous best of 48 yards. Dealing with injuries to running backs J.K. Dobbins and later Keaton Mitchell throughout the season, Hill seized the opportunity that came his way. Baltimore is set to host the AFC title game next week against either the Chiefs or Bills, both of whom rank below average in DVOA against the run. They are both in the bottom half in points allowed to running backs this year, and the Ravens are likely to continue relying on whoever the hot hand is in their backfield.

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill has been a boom-or-bust type of fantasy player all year long, but he's seen a lot more busts than booms. His bigger appeal comes in PPR formats since he seems to be the favored back when it comes to passing downs, but he barely cracked the top 60 this season in carries and rushing yards. To make matters worse, the Houston Texans give up the sixth-fewest rushing yards and the lowest yards per carry in the league right now. With Dalvin Cook also in the mix, and Lamar Jackson still taking some carries away from the backfield, Hill's amount of work could be very minimal. In turn, that makes him an extremely risky option.

He even posted 16.0 yards per carry even though he only received three carries in that game. In Week 18, however, it's unclear how much action he's going to see since the Ravens have clinched the number-one seed and the bye in the AFC. Gus Edwards seems likely to get plenty of rest, so Hill could see a bit of work while Melvin Gordon III is the next in the line to get some carries if both starters sit out for most of the game. Fantasy managers may want to look elsewhere for a running back since his workload is cloudy at best right now.

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill had his best game of the season and put up almost 20 half-PPR fantasy points in the 56-19 blowout win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 17. Hill only saw three carries but gained 48 yards on the ground (16.0 average) while adding a season-high five catches on five targets for a season-high 64 receiving yards and a touchdown. In addition to his work on offense, the 26-year-old had 101 return yards on two kickoffs. Teammate Gus Edwards had 16 rushing attempts for 68 yards and also found the end zone on the ground. It was a nice showing for Hill, but he'll be a volatile fantasy option in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers now that Baltimore has locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye.

Hill has always been the one to get more of the passing down work over Gus Edwards. The issue is that Hill has only scored one touchdown all season and the last time he produced a double-digit fantasy performance, even in PPR formats, since Week 5. On top of that, the Miami Dolphins are a top five defense against opposing running backs and they've been even better over the last couple of weeks, allowing just 69 yards on 27 carries. His role in the offense warrants some extra value, but that only amounts to a low-end flex play.

Before Keaton Mitchell (knee) got hurt, Hill was getting phased out of the backfield committee. In the first full game since Mitchell was shut down for the season, Hill received more touches than Gus Edwards with 13 compared to his 10. However, Hill couldn't turn the extra touches into much, as he ended with 26 yards on 10 carries and 31 yards on three receptions. It's unlikely that Hill will become the surefire lead back this season, so he won't be the most trustworthy option in Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins.

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill is hard to trust in any fantasy format but he's at least scored more than his backfield mate Gus Edwards. Through six weeks, Hill clocks in at RB34 compared to Edwards at RB40. Both of them aren't great options unless managers get desperate. Hill has given more of a return on investment as he's scored three times and has a bigger role in the passing game than Edwards. The matchup against the Lions in Week 7 is a tough one though. Detroit has given up the least amount of fantasy points to opposing running backs and they still have to battle with Lamar Jackson for carries. Hill is better left on the bench but could be started as a flex if any managers need a miracle.
