New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has been on fire lately and should see plenty of targets again Thursday when the Jets visit the Ravens. Anderson got off to a horrible start this season but has been red-hot lately with 100-plus yards in two straight games and a touchdown in three of his last four games. He seems to have made a connection with Sam Darnold who has peppered Anderson with double-digit targets back-to-back weeks and will likely have to throw a ton again in this one with the game script likely working against the Jets. Expect Anderson to get 10-plus targets again this week with Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) not expected to play. Fire Anderson up as a WR2 with upside if the Jets can get him in the end zone.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson registered seven catches for a game-high 116 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 againt the Miami Dolphins and he ran once for four yards.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson has back-to-back 100-yard showings for the first time this season, and he has found the end zone in three of the past four outings. He is starting to jell nicely with Sam Darnold down the stretch. Anderson looks like a legit WR3 or flex fantasy option in all formats heading into Week 15.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson made seven catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Dolphins Sunday. Anderson was targeted a season-high 11 times making this back-to-back weeks Anderson has seen double-digit targets. It took Anderson a while to get going this season, but he's found his groove lately going for at least 100 yards or a touchdown in four consecutive games. Anderson has a tough matchup Thursday at Baltimore but will be a startable option in fantasy given his recent production.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has been disappointing for most of 2019, but appears to be heating up as the weather cools down in the Big Apple. Despite the Jets offense looking lost for most of their Week 13 loss to the Bengals, Anderson was able to make seven catches for 101 yards as one of the few bright spots for New York. Even before that game, Anderson had scored a touchdown in the previous two games as it seems he's finally being treated as the number one receiving option by this first-year coaching staff. Miami gives up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and Anderson is coming off a 10-target game. Expect the Jets to take a few deep shots to him in this one making him a high-ceiling WR3.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson made seven catches for 101 yards vs the Bengals Sunday, his second 100-plus yard receiving effort of the season. As good as his yardage total was, this game will be about what-ifs for Anderson and his fantasy owners. Anderson had the chance at a long touchdown early in the game and couldn't make the play despite having both hands on the football in the end zone. It would have been a tough grab as he was sliding to the ground, but it could have been a much better day for Anderson. He'll have boom-or-bust WR3 upside in a good matchup vs Miami next week.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson finished with seven receptions for a game-high 101 yards and 10 targets in Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson saw his two-game touchdown streak come to an end, but he was able to post his second 100-yard game of the season, and his seven grabs were a season best. He'll try to keep up the good work in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins. He had two catches for 33 yards on four targets in the first meeting.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has been disappointing for fantasy owners this season, but bounced back in a big way last week with 86 yards and a touchdown vs Oakland. Now, Anderson has another juicy matchup against a Bengals Defense that the Jets should be able to throw the ball against. The Jets have put up 34 points three weeks in a row in good matchups and their offensive success should continue vs the winless Bengals. Anderson is always boom-or-bust in fantasy based on his reliance on the big play, but the Jets should have the chance to take some deep shots in this game. Fantasy owners can take the risk and put Anderson back into starting lineups as a WR3.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson had four catches for 86 yards and a touchdown in a win vs Oakland Sunday. Finally, says the owner that is still starting Anderson after a long, disappointing season for the 26-year-old receiver. The touchdown was just his third of the season and this is also the third time Anderson has been over 80 yards. Still, Anderson has now scored two weeks in a row and the Jets offense has looked much better over the last month. The Jets improving offense, and two more soft matchups on the horizon, give Anderson some fantasy appeal as a boom-or-bust WR3.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson ended up with four catches for 86 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 against the Oakland Raiders on five targets.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson has touchdowns in back-to-back games for the first time this season. Still, he remains more of a WR4 in most fantasy leagues until this type of stat line becomes the norm. The Jets travel to meet the winless Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson will be his usual boom-or-bust option as the Jets take on the Raiders at home this Sunday. Anderson was supposed to be the team's number one receiver coming into the season but QB Sam Darnold has found a better connection with Jamison Crowder as the latter receiver has 20 more targets on the season than Anderson. Anderson has just one touchdown on the season and has eclipsed 50 yards just twice. The Jets have been trying to get Anderson going but they've found it hard to throw the ball downfield as Darnold has been under pressure quickly most of the season given the Jets offensive line woes. Anderson is always one play away from a good fantasy day, but this season big plays have been few and far between making him a risky flex in deeper leagues.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught one of three targets for six yards and a touchdown in a win over the Redskins Sunday. Anderson has now reached the point in fantasy where he disappoints his owners even when he scores a touchdown as this is the second straight week he's made only one catch. Quarterback Sam Darnold just seems to have a better connection with Jamison Crowder and Ryan Griffin than with Anderson as Darnold has struggled to get the ball downfield to Anderson all season. He'll remain a boom-or-bust flex option in deeper leagues with more favorable matchups on the horizon.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson had just one catch for six yards in Week 11 against the Washington Redskins, but at least it was good for a touchdown.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson was targeted three times to eight targets for Jamison Crowder, while Demaryius Thomas and TE Ryan Griffin also were targeted five times. Anderson has some fantasy appeal, but he obviously needs a lot more in the way of targets.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson has 13 total receptions in five games since QB Sam Darnold returned from a bout with mono.
Fantasy Spin: He actually had a big performance in Darnold's first game back, but Anderson has just eight catches for 97 yards in the last four games combined. A Week 11 matchup with Washington looks good on paper, but he is a big-play dependent flex option, at best.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson has been held to three catches or less in six games this season. He should have a favorable matchup this week and can still be a flex option in some deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets LB C.J. Mosley (groin), DB Matthias Farley (quad), OL Ryan Kalil (knee) and LB Paul Worrilow (quad) were unable to practice Friday, Nov. 15, and have been ruled out for Week 11 against the New York Jets. CB Darryl Roberts (calf) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. RB Le'Veon Bell (ribs, knee, illness), LB Brandon Copeland (hip, thumb), LB Neville Hewitt (neck, knee), OL Alex Lewis (elbow), DL Steve McLendon (neck), OL Kelvin Beachum (ankle) and WR Demaryius Thomas (knee, hamstring) were limited in practice Friday and are listed as questionable. DL Henry Anderson (shoulder) was upgraded to full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. WR Robby Anderson was a limited participant in practice all week but no longer appears on the injury report. RB Josh Adams (illness), QB Sam Darnold (thumb), WR Jamison Crowder (knee, quad), WR Braxton Berrios (hamstring, hip), TE Ryan Griffin (ankle), OL Tom Compton (back), LB Jordan Jenkins (calf), DB Blessuan Austin (knee) and DB Nate Hairston (thumb, knee) fully participated in practice Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 14.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson has been held to under 50 yards in six of the last seven games. He should still see a decent amount of targets this week and could be a flex option in some leagues because of the favorable matchup.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets wide receivers Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) and Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Barring a setback this week, both players should be able to play in Week 11 in a nice matchup against the Redskins. Anderson has been a bust this year with quarterback Sam Darnold taking a step back. He has just one touchdown in nine games and has only three catches for 44 yards the last two weeks. Until Darnold displays some chemistry downfield with Anderson, he'll be a boom/bust WR4/5. Thomas had a useful six catches for 89 yards in the Week 10 win, but he's also more of a WR4/5 in this shaky offense.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson was limited to one catch for 11 yards last week but has been targeted at least five times in three of the last five games. He should have more success against the Washington Redskins and can be a flex option in deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday. A "limited" tag for Wednesday's practice usually means the player is in no real danger of missing the game Sunday, but it's a situation to monitor for fantasy managers. Anderson has been a massive disappointment in fantasy this season with only one game over 100 yards and just one touchdown on the season playing in a hapless Jets offense. Assuming the injuries are minor, and Anderson suits up Sunday, he'll be a boom-or-bust flex option in a good matchup with the Redskins.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught one pass for 11 yards against the New York Giants in Week 10. He was targeted three times during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Anderson has been held to under 20 yards in four of his nine games and has 50 yards or more in only two of those games. He appears to be behind Demaryius Thomas and Jamison Crowder in terms of targets and can be benched next week if fantasy players have better options.
