Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept 18.

Fantasy Spin: Kroft appears to be on track to play in Week 3 and could take over the starting tight end job. He should not be a starting fantasy option this week, but fantasy players could keep an eye on him because he could be a waiver wire option down the road.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 12:30pm ET

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) will practice in full for the first time on Wednesday since breaking his foot in May. Kroft hasn't played yet in 2019, but it looks like he'll make his season debut in Week 3 against his former team in the Bengals. Until we see what kind of role Kroft will have in this offense, it's best to leave him out of starting lineups in fantasy. Rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney will take a back seat if Kroft returns.

Sep 16 5:03pm ET

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) has made good progress over the last several weeks, but head coach Sean McDermott said he is not sure if Kroft will be available for Week 3.

From TheHuddle

Sep 15 12:20pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) is inactive in Week 2 against the Giants for the second straight week. Kroft is improving, though, and should be able to make his season debut in Week 3. However, Kroft will be a bottom-barrel TE2 whenever he does suit up. Rookies Tommy Sweeney and Dawson Knox will continue to split snaps at the position in the meantime. Neither of them are options in redraft leagues, although they have some stash appeal in dynasty/keeper formats.

From RotoBaller

Sep 14 2:00pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Giants, but he looks closer to returning and got through limited practices all week. Head coach Sean McDermott wouldn't rule Kroft out for the game. Even if Kroft suits up, he won't be worth a spot in any starting lineups in his season debut. If he misses his second straight game, rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney should split the work at tight end again. While both are worth stashing in deep dynasty leagues, neither of them can be trusted in redraft leagues.

Sep 13 3:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills CB Taron Johnson (hamstring) and WR Andre Roberts (quad) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 versus the New York Giants. TE Tyler Kroft (foot) was a limited participant in practice all week and is listed as questionable. LB Lorenzo Alexander (rest), WR John Brown (rest), OT Ty Nsekhe (rest), DT Jordan Phillips (illness), CB Levi Wallace (ankle), RB Frank Gore (rest) and WR Cole Beasley (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 13, and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Sep 12 3:43pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Frank Gore (rest), CB Taron Johnson (hamstring) and WR Andre Roberts (quad) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 12. TE Tyler Kroft (foot) and CB Levi Wallace (ankle) were limited. LB Lorenzo Alexander (rest), WR John Brown (rest), OT Ty Nsekhe (rest) and DT Jordan Phillips (illness) all returned to full participation after not practicing the day before.

Buffalo Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander, OT Ty Nsekhe and WR John Brown sat out practice Wednesday, Sept. 11, for rest. CB Taron Johnson (hamstring), DT Jordan Phillips (illness) and WR Andre Roberts (quad) didn't practice. TE Tyler Kroft (foot) was limited.

From TheHuddle

Sep 8 12:40pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) is inactive in Week 1 against the Jets. Kroft was doubtful to play coming into this one, so it should surprise nobody. None of Buffalo's tight end options are interesting from a fantasy perspective, including Kroft when he's healthy. The Bills could use a combination of Lee Smith and rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney against the Jets. Knox has some appeal as a dynasty/keeper stash, but that's about it.

From RotoBaller

Sep 8 11:53am ET

The Buffalo Bills have declared WR Andre Roberts, OT Conor McDermott, OL Ike Boettger, TE Tyler Kroft, S Jaquan Johnson, OT Ryan Bates and S Dean Marlowe inactive for Week 1.

From TheHuddle

Sep 6 3:00pm ET

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andre Roberts (quadriceps) will not play in Week 1 against the Jets after injuring himself in practice on Monday. Roberts, a 2018 Pro Bowl returner, isn't fantasy relevant. Robert Foster, Cole Beasley, Devin Singletary, Isaiah McKenzie and Micah Hyde are options to replace Roberts on returns this Sunday. Tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) practiced on a limited basis on Friday but is listed as doubtful. John Brown, Zay Jones and Cole Beasley should be Buffalo's top three wideouts in the season opener. Avoid the Bills tight end situation altogether in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Sep 6 2:53pm ET

Buffalo Bills WR Andre Roberts (quad) did not participate in practice for a third straight day Friday, Sept. 6, and has been ruled out for Week 1 against the New York Jets. TE Tyler Kroft (foot) was limited for a third straight day and is listed as doubtful.

From TheHuddle

Sep 5 4:23pm ET

Buffalo Bills WR Andre Roberts (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 5. TE Tyler Kroft (foot) was limited during practice.

From TheHuddle

Sep 4 4:43pm ET

Buffalo Bills WR Andre Roberts (quadriceps) missed practice Wednesday, Sept. 4, and is considered day to day. TE Tyler Kroft (foot) also missed practice.

From TheHuddle

Sep 4 12:00pm ET

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) will not take part in practice on Wednesday. Kroft is unlikely to play in Week 1 against the Jets on the road and could also miss another week or two after that as he recovers from his injury. When healthy, he could be the team's top pass-catching tight end, but fantasy owners aren't waiting around to see how Buffalo's tight end group shakes out. The repetitions without Kroft will be split up between Lee Smith and rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney. If anything, Knox is a stash in dynasty/keeper leagues.

From RotoBaller

Sep 2 4:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) did not participate in practice Monday, Sept. 2. Head coach Sean McDermott said the team hopes Kroft will be able to return during the early part of the season.

From TheHuddle

Aug 28 3:30pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) is still listed on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Kroft broke his foot early in offseason workouts and has missed the first three preseason games. Head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane have had discussions on what do with Kroft in regards to the 53-man roster. One option is to place Kroft on the reserve PUP list, which would sideline him for the first six weeks of the regular season. If Kroft isn't ready by Week 1, that means more playing time for rookies Tommy Sweeney and Dawson Knox. Kroft caught seven touchdowns in 2017, so the productivity is there when he's healthy, but he is off fantasy radars for the time being.

From RotoBaller

Aug 28 2:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft's (foot) status for the start of the regular season is still uncertain, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Kroft is currently on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.

From TheHuddle

Aug 19 9:00am ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (foot) has been progressing well as of late and there's speculation that he could avoid the PUP list to start the season. Kroft broke his foot early in the offseason and had been in a walking boot until about two weeks ago. There's still no timetable for Kroft's return but the starting tight end spot still appears to be all his whenever he is ready. Kroft spent the first four years of his career with the Bengals before signing with the Bills this year. He caught seven touchdowns in 2017, so he's shown he can produce when given the opportunity.

From RotoBaller

Aug 18 3:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) is 'moving in the right direction' in his recovery from foot surgery, according to head coach Sean McDermott Sunday, Aug. 18. McDermott didn't provide a timeline for Kroft's return to the field but added he has been working on his own behind the scenes.

Fantasy Spin: Kroft was a candidate to be a late-round fantasy pick for those punting the tight end position, buy fantasy roster managers will now likely be able to wait to see how he starts the season before picking him up off of the waiver wire.
