Dec 6 7:43pm ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 6, and is listed as questionable for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu has not been a big part of the passing game since joining the Patriots but will see some targets this week against the Kansas City Chiefs. He has a chance to be a flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 6 5:43pm ET

New England Patriots DL Byron Cowart (head) and OL Ted Karras (knee) were unable to practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (knee), OL Marcus Cannon (illness), S Patrick Chung (heel), WR Julian Edelman (shoulder), CB Jason McCourty (groin) and WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. QB Tom Brady (toe, elbow) and QB Cody Kessler (illness) were not given a practice designation Friday, Dec. 6, and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Dec 6 4:40pm ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was listed as limited in practice heading into the team's Week 14 matchup against the Chiefs. Sanu played only 19 snaps last week and clearly is being hampered by the injury. He will go up against a Chiefs Defense that is allowing the third fewest fantasy points to receivers. Since Week 5, they have allowed only three touchdowns to receivers. The Patriots certainly need Sanu to boost their suddenly stagnant offense and is targeted to play. If he suits up, fantasy owners still need to be cautious throwing Sanu into lineups and expecting him to produce big-time numbers in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 5 6:23pm ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 5.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu has not been a big part of the passing game over his last four games but could have a bigger role this week because the Patriots may need to score a lot of points. He could be considered at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 4 7:33pm ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu has been held to 23 yards or less in three of the four games he has played for the Patriots and has not shown good chemistry with Tom Brady. He could be a flex option in some leagues but is not a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 3:13am ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) caught three passes for 14 yards against the Houston Texans in Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Considering that the Pats gave up a second-round pick for Sanu, you'd have to believe they expected more from him than 7.2 yards per catch, even acknowledging he's more of a chain mover than a downfield threat. With one decent performance in four games, Sanu shouldn't be in your starting lineup down the stretch unless you have no other choice.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 1:10am ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Mohamed Sanu caught only three passes for 14 yards in the Patriots 28-22 loss to the Texans in Week 13. Sanu has missed time with an ankle injury and was targeted five times in the game. Whether Sanu is 100% or the Patriots offensive struggles depressed his involvement, it was not a strong night for the veteran receiver. Sanu's fantasy value was trending upward but his ankle injury, combined with this performance, should cast doubt on his ability to help fantasy rosters heading into Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 7:13pm ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 13 game.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu did not play last week but will be back in the starting lineup against the Houston Texans. He has been targeted 23 times in three games since joining the Patriots and could be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 9:43am ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) is expected to play in Week 13's game against the Houston Texans, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu was listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited practice participant throughout the week. He should be viewed as a somewhat risky flex option in deeper fantasy leagues since the Patriots don't play until Sunday night.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 6:23pm ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu probably will be a game-time decision this week, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He could be a flex option in fantasy leagues if he plays, but players will need other options available in case he is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 5:23pm ET

New England Patriots TE Ryan Izzo (illness) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Houston Texans. LB Kyle Van Noy (illness) did not practice Friday, Nov. 29, and is listed as questionable. S Patrick Chung (illness, heel, chest), LB Jamie Collins (illness), OL Jermaine Eluemunor (illness), CB Stephon Gilmore (illness), LB Dont'a Hightower (illness), CB Joejuan Williams (illness), OT Isaiah Wynn (illness), LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (knee), OT Marcus Cannon (illness), WR Phillip Dorsett (concussion), S Nate Ebner (ankle, back), WR Julian Edelman (shoulder), CB Jason McCourty (groin), WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle), WR Matthew Slater (hamstring) and OL Byron Cowart (head) were limited in practice Friday and are also listed as questionable. QB Tom Brady (elbow) returned to a full practice Friday and has been removed from the injury report. DE John Simon (elbow) was not given a practice designation for a second straight day but also no longer appears on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 5:53pm ET

New England Patriots Mohamed Sanu (ankle) remained limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 28.

Fantasy Spin: With Sanu and Phillip Dorsett both continuing to battle injuries after sitting out Week 12, the Patriots' receiving corps is left rather thin. Whichever one of the two is able to return this week will be worth a look, but they hinder each other when both are active.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 4:20pm ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Sanu was close to playing in the Week 12 win over the Cowboys, but there's a better chance he'll suit up for Sunday night's showdown against the Texans in Week 13. If he does, it'll push one of rookies N'Keal Harry or Jakobi Meyers out of three-wide sets. Houston's secondary is getting healthier but has been susceptible to big plays all season, so New England's passing game could get back on track this weekend. Sanu has upside in the matchup if he plays, but he should be considered more of a boom/bust WR4 if he returns.

From RotoBaller

Nov 27 4:53pm ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu missed last week's game after he caught two of four targets for just four yards in Week 11. He's only an option in very deep leagues if able to return this week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 3:13pm ET

The New England Patriots have declared S Jason McCourty, WR Mohamed Sanu, QB Cody Kessler, RB Damien Harris, OT Korey Cunningham, WR Phillip Dorsett and TE Ryan Izzo inactive for Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 3:13pm ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 12 game.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 10:20am ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (ankle) isn't expected to play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, and ESPN's Jeff Darlington wonders if Sanu will even be available in Week 13. New England doesn't have the deepest receiving corps, so playing it safe with Sanu and ensuring he'll be available down the stretch is more important than rushing him back for a Week 12 game against Dallas. With Sanu out, Julian Edelman and N'Keal Harry should lead New England's pass-catching attack.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 10:03am ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu's (ankle) chances of playing in Week 12's game against the Dallas Cowboys have improved greatly in the last 24 hours, although it still appears likely that he will be held out of action.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu was listed as questionable on the injury report but didn't practice much during the week. Even in the event that he is active versus the Cowboys, he would likely see a very limited number of offensive snaps, so he is not a recommended fantasy option this afternoon.

From TheHuddle

Nov 23 3:10pm ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (ankle) is expected to miss Week 12 with an ankle injury. Receiver Phillip Dorsett (concussion) is also likely to miss the game against the Dallas Cowboys. That means rookies N'Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers will be the third and fourth options behind receiver Julian Edelman and running back James White. The Cowboys are one of the worst matchups for receivers the last five weeks. Harry is a midrange flex option, and Meyers might be too risky to use.

From RotoBaller

Nov 23 11:33am ET

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) is not expected to play in Week 12's game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Sanu had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging just one limited practice session during the week. His injury is not considered to be serious and he could return to action for Week 13's contest against the Houston Texans.
