Dec 15 12:50am ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams is carrying quite the streak, and he'll be looking to add to it with another deep pass on Sunday. Williams has a reception of 40 or more yards in six straight games, though amazingly, only one of those bombs has turned into a touchdown. The third-year wideout is at 841 yards receiving, but it wasn't until last week's blowout against Jacksonville that he recorded his first score of the season. Facing off against a stingy Minnesota secondary, Williams will be hard-pressed to find an opening for another big play, but owners can bet he'll be trying and Rivers will give him a chance.

Dec 13 5:33pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has posted at least 55 yards in each of the last six games despite being targeted only three times in three of those games. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues this week.

Dec 13 3:53pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers LB Uchenna Nwosu (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Week 15 versus the Minnesota Vikings. WR Mike Williams (knee), LB Drue Tranquill (elbow) and LB Thomas Davis (non-injury) practiced fully Friday, Dec. 13, and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Dec 12 6:23pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) remained limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 12.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has strung together a good stretch, where he as at least provided fantasy managers with a high floor. He has caught only two passes in three of his last four games, but he topped 50 yards each time and scored his first touchdown of the season last week. He's a flex option against the Minnesota Vikings this week, if active.

From TheHuddle

Dec 11 7:43pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Fantasy Spin: Williams reached the end zone for the first time last week and has posted at least 60 yards in five of the last six games. He can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Dec 9 3:00am ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams didn't see a lot of chances on Sunday, but he fought to make his couple of opportunities count. With the team already up by 21 points late in the third quarter, Williams' number got pulled when Philip Rivers lofted a deep ball to the end zone on a long third down. Williams snatched at the ball and tumbled to the ground with both arms securely hanging on to it. Only problem was that the Jacksonville defender had both his arms around it too. The officials ruled that the catch was good, and Williams had officially broken his touchdown drought with his first of the season. Williams' only complication is the assortment of weapons available to Rivers on his offense. Otherwise, Williams is everything a team could want in a star receiver.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 10:13pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams caught two of his three targets for 63 yards and a touchdown, his first of the year, in a 45-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: The lack of touchdowns has curbed his fantasy value, but Williams has still be generating big plays and has already set a new career high in receiving yards. He's a flex option with enormous upside.

Dec 7 3:20pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams went huge last week against the Denver Broncos, and he'll be looking to continue building on his progress. Williams racked up 117 yards as he was the go-to receiver for deep passes, giving him a new career-high. He'll now turn his sights on the Jaguars, a less dominant secondary than that of the Broncos. However, in this case, them being less dominant may actually cut into Williams' production instead of helping it. One of the natural ways Denver's stingy secondary helped Williams is that Philip Rivers wanted to avoid Chris Harris Jr, who shadowed Keenan Allen all day. Jacksonville's secondary isn't so top-heavy, so Williams may not see as much work and Allen may see more. Williams has shown he can be a superstar though, so Rivers should still find him for a big play or two no matter what,

Dec 6 8:13pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has been targeted at least six times in seven of the last nine games and has two 100-yard games in the last four weeks. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 6 5:53pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers LB Nick Dzubnar (concussion) practiced in full for a second straight day on Friday, Dec. 6, but is listed as questionable for Week 14 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. WR Mike Williams (knee), OT Russell Okung (groin), OT Sam Tevi (knee) and LB Thomas Davis (non-injury) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 5:13pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 5.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has been playing very well during the second half of the season and will continue to be a deep threat for the Chargers. He should be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 4 5:13pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has posted at least 75 yards in three of the last four games and has two 100-yard games during that span. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 1:50am ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams was expected to have to shoulder a lot of the outside load on Sunday since Chris Harris Jr. would be shadowing Keenan Allen, but nobody expected Williams to be as impressive as he actually was. Williams caught five passes for 117 yards, and though he still didn't find the end zone, he made some spectacular plays. The team's first touchdown was set up by Williams getting so wide open that when Philip Rivers underthrew him by a huge amount, he still had time to stop, come back, catch the ball, and tack on another 12 yards before anyone touched him. He would later go one to make an unbelievable one-handed catch on 4th-and-11 on the team's final drive even though he had a receiver laying on him while he was doing it. Williams is clearly a stud, and he should be one of the most exciting receivers in the league for years to come.

From RotoBaller

Dec 2 1:13am ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams had five receptions for a season-high 117 yards in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Spin: Good news: Williams has 778 yards receiving for the year, which equates to 70.7 per game. Bad news: only Robert Woods (835) has more receiving yards this season without a touchdown -- in fact, the 25 players with more yardage than Williams average 5.3 TDs a piece. Given his size, talent and proven red-zone ability, Williams' lack of involvement is mystifying, and it keeps him in the WR3 range.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 5:53pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has been playing well over the last month with at least 69 yards in three of the last four games. He should be considered at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 5:13pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers OT Sam Tevi (knee) and WR Geremy Davis (hamstring) were limited in practice Friday, Nov. 29, and are listed as questionable for Week 13 against the Denver Broncos. OT Russell Okung (groin) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. LB Thomas Davis (knee), WR Mike Williams (knee), RB Justin Jackson (calf) and LB Drue Tranquill (calf) practiced fully Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 4:20pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams is set to square off against the Denver Broncos once again this Sunday, and he'll likely be the team's de facto No. 1 receiver once again. With actual No. 1 wide receiver Keenan Allen being shadowed by Chris Harris Jr. all day, Williams will probably be the team's top wideout just like he was in October when the two teams faced each other. In that game, Williams caught six passes, the most he's caught in any game this season, and he tallied 74 yards in 13 targets. Notably, LA was without Hunter Henry at that time, so be prepared for him to siphon off some targets, but Williams should still be seen as a strong contender for a lot of opportunities against the top-notch defense of the Broncos.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 3:03pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) was seen participating in the open portion of practice Friday, Nov. 29.

Fantasy Spin: Things are looking up for Williams after he was added to the injury report Wednesday. Double check his status on the Week 13 injury report and again Sunday, but it looks like he'll be available as a WR3/flex option as he surprisingly still seeks his first TD grab of the season.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 6:23pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) was upgraded to a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 28.

Fantasy Spin: Williams remains in search of his first touchdown of the year, but he's providing steady yardage totals. He's a low-end WR3 this week in a tougher matchup against the Denver Broncos.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 5:50pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) got in a full practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. Williams was always expected to play this Sunday after coming off the Week 12 bye. His matchup against the Broncos on the road with a struggling quarterback in Philip Rivers isn't ideal, though. Denver has been one of the better teams at limiting opposing wideouts all season long, so Williams will be a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex. He was able to put up six catches on a season-high 13 targets for 74 yards against the Broncos in their first meeting on Oct. 6.
