Cleveland Browns chief executive officer Jimmy Haslam is not happy with running back Kareem Hunt after he admitted to police that he would've failed a drug test during a Jan. 21 traffic stop. "Kareem knows hes got to do better. Kevin and Andrew have talked to him about it and Ill just leave it at that. What he did is not acceptable; hes got to do better," Haslam said. Hunt will be a restricted free agent this March. When asked if the Browns still want Hunt around, Haslam said, "If Kareem can lay out and follow the expectations weve laid out for him." It sounds like Cleveland still wants to move forward with Hunt on their roster, but any more slip-ups and he could be gone. The 24-year-old missed the start of last season for a suspension related to domestic violence, but he was PPR relevant as the change of pace for Nick Chubb in eight games, catching 37 passes for 285 yards and one touchdown. He'd have more value in a backfield all his own obviously, but Hunt can still be relevant in PPR leagues if he remains in Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt, who will be a free agent in March, emotionally admitted that he would fail a drug test to a police officer during a traffic stop recently. This was caught on video of the police officer's dash cam during the traffic stop. Hunt also admitted that the small amounts of marijuana found in the car were his, but the officer let Hunt off with just the speeding ticket. It remains to be seen if the NFL will consider a suspension for the 24-year-old from this incident. Hunt was released by the Chiefs during the 2018 season due to a domestic-violence incident, and he served a suspension before making his Browns debut in 2019. If he signs with another team this offseason and is given bell-cow duties in the backfield, Hunt could have RB1 upside.

Jan 24 1:53pm ET

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt's car was found to contain marijuana following a traffic stop Tuesday, Jan. 21, in which Hunt was issued a speeding citation in Ohio.

Fantasy Spin: Although Hunt wasn't cited for possession, he could face scrutiny from the league after sitting out the first half of the 2019 season due to a personal-conduct suspension. Without a ban, Hunt projects as a low-end RB2 entering next season.

Jan 24 1:30pm ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt was pulled over and cited during a traffic stop in Rocky River, Ohio on Tuesday. Police pulled Hunt over for going 77 MPH in a 60 MPH zone and found small amounts of marijuana in three different locations in the car. The car was registered in Hunt's mother's name and he told officers that the drugs belonged to his brother. While the running back did not receive a drug charge during the stop, he could still be subject to discipline from the NFL. Hunt is a restricted free agent this offseason and has a chance to land elsewhere as a team's starting running back. This incident is only likely to be an issue in fantasy if the NFL decides to get involved.

From RotoBaller

Dec 29 4:30pm ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt carried the ball three times for four yards and added three catches for 32 yards in a 33-23 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. Hunt and Nick Chubb's lack of attempts against a Cincinnati run defense that was one of the worst in the NFL goes down as yet another disappointing part of the Browns' failed 2019 campaign. Hunt is a restricted free agent heading into the offseason, meaning he has a good chance to be back with the Browns if they wish to retain him. Hunt's dynasty owners are surely hoping he lands elsewhere as a different team's lead back this offseason.

From RotoBaller

Dec 27 2:30pm ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt can be treated as a solid flex option in his team's season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Hunt has been utilized extensively in the passing game by Cleveland this season, averaging 4.9 receptions on 5.9 targets over his seven games with the Browns. The Bengals have been generous to opposing rushing attacks this season, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the running back position. Treat Hunt as a high-end RB3 and a solid tournament option in DFS contests for the final regular-season game of the year for these two teams.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 9:50pm ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt caught four passes for 33 yards in a 31-15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. Hunt also received three carries but was held without a rushing yard in the loss. It was a quiet afternoon for Hunt, who was suspended the last time these two teams met back in Week 4. He will be a bounce-back candidate in Week 17 when the Browns take on the Cincinnati Bengals in the season finale.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 6:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt caught four passes for 33 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. He also finished with zero rushing yards on three carries.

Fantasy Spin: Hunt has been involved in the running and passing game this season and should receive a solid amount of touches next week. He can be considered at least a flex option next week because of the favorable matchup.

From TheHuddle

Dec 20 10:30am ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt draws a tough matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. Baltimore has been stingy against running backs this season, allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. That being said, Hunt does most of his damage in the passing game as he has operated as Cleveland's No. 3 option in the passing game. He also has a huge target ceiling on an afternoon where Cleveland projects to be playing from behind for a majority of the contest. Treat Hunt as a solid flex option for the fantasy championships in Week 16.

From RotoBaller

Dec 15 10:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt rushed four times for 14 yards and caught eight of his nine targets for 62 yards in a 38-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15.

Fantasy Spin: Nick Chubb is the top dog in Cleveland's backfield, but Hunt typically sees about 10-15 touches and has been able to stay in the flex conversation in PPR formats thanks to his involvement in the passing game.

From TheHuddle

Dec 15 9:10pm ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt carried the ball four times for 14 yards and added eight catches for 62 yards in a 38-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15. Hunt didn't get much going on the ground but he made an impression in the passing attack, finishing second in receiving behind only Odell Beckham Jr. Hunt has been busy in the passing game this season, having caught at least five passes in four of his six games played. Hunt will be a high-end RB3 in Week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens.

From RotoBaller

Dec 13 10:30am ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt draws a plus road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15. The Cardinals are allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to the running back position this season. That being said, Arizona's defense is much worse against the pass, which plays right into Hunt's hands as he has basically been Cleveland's No. 3 option in the passing game since returning from suspension in Week 10. Fire up Hunt as a locked-in RB2 in all formats heading into the fantasy semi-finals this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 5:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt rushed nine times for 28 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals and he added two grabs for 40 yards on three targets.

Fantasy Spin: Hunt has been making the most of his touches behind Nick Chubb, who had his sixth 100-yard rushing day of the season, including his second in three outings. The former rushing leader Hunt remains a decent RB3 or flex fantasy option, especially in PPR leagues, heading into Week 15 in Arizona.

From TheHuddle

Dec 8 5:00pm ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt carried the ball nine times for 28 yards and a touchdown in a 27-19 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14 while adding two catches for 40 yards. It goes down as another quality game for Hunt, who has three all-purpose touchdowns in his five games with Cleveland. Operating as the No. 3 option in the passing attack, he will be a solid RB2 in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals.

From RotoBaller

Dec 6 11:30am ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt draws a mouth-watering Week 14 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have struggled to stop the run this season, ranking 27th in run-defense DVOA while allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the running back position. Hunt has basically established himself as the No. 3 wide receiver in Cleveland, in addition to the handful of carries he has been seeing on a weekly basis. Fantasy GMs can tab Hunt as a low-end RB2 for the first round of the fantasy playoffs this Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Dec 3 9:33pm ET

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt played 65 percent of the offensive snaps Sunday, Dec. 1, against the Pittsburgh Steelers while RB Nick Chubb played 59 percent of the snaps.

Fantasy Spin: Hunt ran the ball seven times for 46 yards and caught all five of his targets for 19 yards and a touchdown while Chubb totaled 79 yards but no scores. The two should remain in a relatively even timeshare, but Hunt's upside continues to rise the more he's on the field.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 4:50pm ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt carried the ball seven times for 46 yards and added five receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown in a 20-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13. Hunt managed to find the end zone for the second straight week when he pulled in a 15-yard touchdown reception from Baker Mayfield in the second quarter. While he continues to cede most of the carries to Nick Chubb, Hunt has carved out a role as the team's No. 3 option in the passing attack. Hunt draws a beautiful Week 14 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 4:33pm ET

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt had seven runs for 46 yards in Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers while adding five receptions for 19 yards and a score.

Fantasy Spin: Hunt had a total of 12 touches, 65 scrimmage yards and a touchdown to Nick Chubb's 17 total touches, 79 scrimmage yards and no scores. He has started to carve into Nick Chubb's playing time and is an excellent RB3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams. The Browns host the Bengals in Week 14.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 6:30am ET

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt will face the Pittsburgh Steelers for the second time in three games this weekend. Hunt had a solid game in a Week 11 win over the Steelers, catching six passes for 46 yards. He will look for more of the same in Week 13 against a Pittsburgh run defense that has been a quality unit this season. Pittsburgh ranks sixth in run-defense DVOA and is allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. Despite the tough matchup, Hunt's involvement in the passing game keeps him on the map as a solid flex option in PPR leagues for Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 6:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt rushed eight times for 37 yards and a score against the Miami Dolphins in Week 12 and he added two catches for nine yards.

Fantasy Spin: Hunt continues to spell Nick Chubb, and that role won't be changing anytime soon. Chubb went over 100 yards on the ground again, and he has 20 or more carries in six straight. Hunt remains best used as a flex fantasy option in most leagues of 12 or more teams as long as Chubb is healthy. The Browns travel to meet the Steelers in Week 13.
