2020 RTSports Outlook

tasy running back scoring. He did most of his damage as a receiver, catching a career-high 55 passes. He also scored a career-high four touchdowns. He had 901 total yards for the season, which was his highest total since his rookie season. Yeldon even missed a few games late in the season as a healthy scratch as the Jaguars wanted to see younger talent get some chances. His six touches his last two games is a bit of a concern going forward. Yeldon will try to keep this third-down role this season, hoping to win that job with the Bills. Yeldon has 30 or more receptions each of his first four seasons in the league. Yeldon seems best suited as a change-of-pace back. He lacks a big-time second gear, but still makes big plays because of his quickness and moves in space. He is a big help in the passing game because he is a solid blocker and pass catcher. He still needs to improve on hitting the hole in a hurry and being more decisive with his runs.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: If he gets the third-down job, which seems likely, he has some fantasy value. You can't ignore his production last season when getting work in the passing game. He has late-round value. His numbers could slip some last year but look for around 600 total yards and 40 receptions with a few scores.

Dec 29 4:53pm ET

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen made a cameo in Week 17 against the New York Jets, completing 3-of-5 passes for five yards before turning it over to QB Matt Barkley, who was 18-of-35 for 232 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. RB Frank Gore ran six times for 26 yards while adding three grabs for 16 yards. RB T.J. Yeldon checked in with seven runs for 18 yards and three catches for 24 yards as RB Devin Singletary rested. WR Duke Williams led the way with six receptions while adding game bests with 108 yards and 12 targets.

From TheHuddle

Dec 29 4:30pm ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon ran well in relief of Frank Gore, carrying the ball seven times for 18 yards while catching three passes for 24 yards. The stats dont do justice to the juice that Yeldon had while running behind a back-up offensive line. With Gore and Devin Singletary healthy, Yeldon could go back to being a healthy scratch in the postseason due to his lack of special teams involvement.

From RotoBaller

Dec 26 11:00am ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon has been inactive for nine straight games as the team has gone exclusively with Devin Singletary and Frank Gore in their backfield. The team hasn't announced a change of plans for Yeldon in Week 17 against the Jets. However, since the Bills are locked into the fifth seed in the AFC playoffs, it might make sense for them to activate Yeldon so he can get some game action in case he's needed in the playoffs. The only way that Yeldon would become fantasy relevant at this point would be if the team decides to sit Singletary and Gore for the game and Yeldon steps in as a surprise starter. If that's not the case, Yeldon can remain on waivers in all leagues and isn't a DFS option.

Dec 21 3:13pm ET

The Buffalo Bills have declared TE Tommy Sweeney, WR Duke Williams, OT Ty Nsekhe, OL Ike Boettger, DT Vincent Taylor, S Dean Marlowe and RB T.J. Yeldon inactive for Week 16.

From TheHuddle

Dec 19 11:50am ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon has been inactive for eight straight games, and that streak is likely to continue in Week 16 as the team's top two rushers --Devin Singletary and Frank Gore-- are both healthy. Yeldon saw a little playing time earlier this year when Singletary was out, but the team has gone exclusively with Singletary and Gore since Singletary's return. Yeldon can be left on waivers in all leagues.

From RotoBaller

Dec 15 7:03pm ET

The Buffalo Bills have declared TE Tommy Sweeney, WR Duke Williams, OT Ty Nsekhe, DL Corey Liuget, OL Ike Boettger, S Dean Marlowe and RB T.J. Yeldon inactive for Week 15.

From TheHuddle

Dec 12 12:00pm ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon has been inactive for seven straight weeks. The team has been rolling with the combination of Devin Singletary and Frank Gore at running back and it has worked well for them as Singletary has flourished. Yeldon will likely be inactive for the eighth straight week as the team faces the Steelers in Week 15. He should remain on waivers in all leagues.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 6:00pm ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon was inactive for the seventh straight game in Week 14 against the Ravens. The Bills are rolling along with Devin Singletary and Frank Gore as their lone rushers. Singletary had a big game in Week 14, gaining 89 yards on the ground and another 29 yards through the air. Gore has been a decent No. 2 behind Singletary, despite struggling in Week 14. Yeldon has no business on fantasy radars at this point.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 11:33am ET

The Buffalo Bills have declared TE Tommy Sweeney, WR Duke Williams, OT Ty Nsekhe, OL Ike Boettger, DT Vincent Taylor, S Dean Marlowe and RB T.J. Yeldon inactive for Week 14.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 2:53pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Frank Gore (rest), LB Lorenzo Alexander (rest), OG Quinton Spain (illness) and RB T.J. Yeldon (illness) did not take part in practice Thursday, Dec. 5. OT Ty Nsekhe (ankle) was not given a practice designation.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 9:40am ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon has been inactive for six straight weeks and there's little reason to believe that streak will end against the Ravens this week. The Bills are going exclusively with Devin Singletary and Frank Gore at this point, making Yeldon unworthy of ownership in any league format.

From RotoBaller

Nov 28 3:13pm ET

The Buffalo Bills have declared TE Tommy Sweeney, WR Duke Williams, OT Ty Nsekhe, OL Ike Boettger, DT Vincent Taylor, S Dean Marlowe and RB T.J. Yeldon inactive for Week 13.

From TheHuddle

Nov 27 10:00am ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon figures to be inactive for his sixth straight game this week as the Bills face the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The Bills' top two rushers, Devin Singletary and Frank Gore, combined for 36 carries for 171 yards in Week 12. There's no sign of the team wanting to get away from that duo as they have been the only two running backs on the active roster for the past five weeks. Yeldon can be left on waivers in all leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 4:20pm ET

The Buffalo Bills made running back T.J. Yeldon inactive for the fifth straight game in Week 12 against the Broncos. The team went with Devin Singletary and Frank Gore as their exclusive running backs once again and they performed extremely well, with Singletary posting the first 100-yard rushing game of his career and Gore adding 66 yards. Yeldon has absolutely no value in fantasy leagues at this point.

From RotoBaller

Nov 21 10:20am ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon was inactive for the fifth straight game in Week 11 and it's hard to imagine anything different for Week 12. Unless there's an injury or a depth chart shift in Buffalo in the coming weeks, Yeldon figures to remain inactive for games and has no business being on fantasy rosters.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 11:53am ET

The Buffalo Bills have declared TE Tommy Sweeney, WR Duke Williams, OL Ike Boettger, OT Ryan Bates, DT Vincent Taylor, S Dean Marlowe and RB T.J. Yeldon inactive for Week 11.

From TheHuddle

Nov 14 11:10am ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon has been inactive for four straight games and this week against the Dolphins figures to be the same story. He has no business on fantasy rosters at this point. Devin Singletary is the team's primary rusher with Frank Gore as the firm No. 2 back.

From RotoBaller

Nov 7 9:10am ET

Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon has been inactive for three straight weeks, ever since the return of rookie running back Devin Singletary. Yeldon has no value in fantasy at this point and would need an injury to Singletary or Frank Gore or both in order to warrant consideration for a waiver wire add.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 11:33am ET

The Buffalo Bills have declared FS Kurt Coleman, OL Ike Boettger, SS Maurice Alexander, C Spencer Long, RB T.J. Yeldon, TE Tommy Sweeney and WR Duke Williams inactive for Week 9.
