Edwards returned from his torn ACL last year and took some time to get up to speed, but played well in a reserve role once on the field. He played nine games, averaging 5.0 yards per carry. He had 433 total yards and three touchdowns. Edwards had two games with double-digit fantasy points. He did nothing in the passing game, though, going without a catch on two targets. Edwards is a valuable backup. He serves the role very well. Edwards had three straight seasons with 700-plus rushing yards to start his career. Edwards is a big back that does his best work between the tackles. He runs with power and does good at getting downhill in a hurry. He lacks a little top-end speed, though, and is not a factor in the passing game.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Edwards is not the most exciting fantasy option because of a lack of work in the passing game. He will get some yards, though, and find the end zone on occasion. Take him as a deep reserve. Edwards will get around 600 or 700 total yards and a few scores.
