Nov 10 9:23pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams rushed 19 times for 77 yards and caught all five of his targets for 32 yards in a 35-32 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: With the Chiefs resting LeSean McCoy, Williams took on a workhorse role. He has now topped 100 total yards in back-to-back games, and even when McCoy is back in the mix, Williams should be a quality flex option.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 8:20pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams was expected to have a big game with veteran LeSean McCoy a healthy scratch in this one. Williams ran for over 125 yards in the game prior, so the Chiefs put their faith in him once again. He rushed 19 times for 77 yards and caught five passes for 32 yards through the air. However, Williams had a costly fumble that led to a Titans 53-yard touchdown. It's unclear whether or not McCoy will be active next week against the Chargers. Williams should be considered a low-end RB2 in Los Angeles for Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 8:43pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams played 72% of the Chiefs' offensive snaps in the Week 9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Spin: It was Williams' largest snap share of the season but it built off of a trend that started to develop in Week 8. It resulted in his best game of the season as he rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries with a long of 91 yards. Backup LeSean McCoy played just six snaps with Darrel Williams chipping in with 11. Dam. Williams seems to be in full control of the KC backfield right now.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 8:23pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams ran 12 times for 125 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings and he added two receptions for three yards.

Fantasy Spin: This was what was expected from Williams out of the gate, but injuries kept him from producing to his full capabilities. It's likely he is in line for a strong second half as long as he can avoid any further ailments. Treat him as a RB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 10 at Tennessee.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 8:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams has been tough to own in fantasy leagues this season because he hasn't done much since Week 1. Williams was able to run all over the Vikings in Week 9. He rushed 12 times for 125 yards and a touchdown in the win. However, most of the yards were because of a 91-yard touchdown run during the third quarter. It was a nice performance, but fantasy owners shouldn't get carried away. Williams will remain a flex option for Week 10 against the Titans.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 6:20pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams finished with a season-high 30 rushing yards in the loss to Green Bay in Week 8. The fact 30 yards is his best running performance of the season is discouraging. Veteran LeSean McCoy seems to get most of the touches over the last few weeks. Williams has only seen more than nine carries in a single game once this season. He'll be a touchdown dependent flex option for Week 9 against the Vikings.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 12:53am ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams carried the ball seven times for 30 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Incredibly, Williams' 30 yards rushing were a season high for the man that entered 2019 as KC's nominal starting back. While it's been a disappointing stretch for Williams, you have to wonder if LeSean McCoy's fumbling issues will give Williams another chance at meaningful touches. Stay tuned.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 12:30am ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams hasn't been reliable for fantasy owners all season, but at least he was able to find the end zone in Week 8. Williams rushed seven times for 30 yards and scored a touchdown in the loss to the Packers on Sunday. That was the first time all season that Williams has finished with 30 or more rushing yards in a game. LeSean McCoy seems to get more carries most weeks, but the Chiefs try and find a way to get Williams involved. He'll be a touchdown dependent flex option for Week 9 versus the Vikings.

From RotoBaller

Oct 25 5:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams has been basically a ghost on the field over the last two games. Williams has 13 rushing yards over the last two games and is becoming untrustworthy in fantasy formats. However, the Chiefs may lean on the running game more with quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) sidelined the next few weeks. The Chiefs may decide to play more cautious with the ball on offense. Fantasy owners should consider Williams a low-end flex option for Week 8 versus the Packers.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 12:53am ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams had nine carries for seven yards against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, Oct. 17. Williams also caught two passes for minus-one yard.

Fantasy Spin: It's not easy to turn 11 total touches into six yards, but Williams found a way. After capably filling in last year after the team released Kareem Hunt, Williams just hasn't been able to get anything going in 2019. There's still upside there, but it's hard to advocate putting him in your starting lineup until further notice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 12:20am ET

Kansas City Chiefs running game Damien Williams has been basically a ghost on the field since Week 2. He finished with six total rushing yards during Week 6, but manages to have a worse fantasy game the following week. Williams rushed nine times for seven yards in the Week 7 victory over the Broncos. Williams got negative yards in the passing game, so he can't even be trusted there. Fantasy owners in standard leagues should probably be benching Williams at this point. He'll have low-end flex appeal versus the Green Bay Packers in Week 8. LeSean McCoy is looking like the better running back in KC right now.

From RotoBaller

Oct 16 7:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams could be a risky option in standard fantasy leagues against the Denver Broncos in Week 7. Williams saw just one carry for six yards in the loss last week. Veteran LeSean McCoy has been doing most of the work on the ground lately. Williams could see some chances through the air, but he still remains a risky option in most formats. He should be considered a low-end flex option versus the Broncos on Thursday.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 7:53pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams rushed just once for six yards and he added a 14-yard catch for touchdown in Week 6 against the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Spin: The touchdown was nice, but two total touches simply will not do. Avoid him outside of deeper fantasy leagues until he starts to see an increase in workload again. The Chiefs travel to meet the Broncos in Week 7 on Thursday night.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 6:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams looked like a ghost on the field in the 31-24 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 6. Williams rushed one time for six yards on the ground. Luckily, he caught one pass for a 14 yard touchdown that gave him some fantasy value. LeSean McCoy saw almost all the carries out of the backfield in this one. This might have been just a fluke and Williams will see more touches next week, but who knows with head coach Andy Reid. The Chiefs head into Denver for a matchup against the Broncos on Thursday in Week 7. Williams could be a flex option, but has pushed himself out of the RB2 conversation at this point.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 1:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams returned last week after a two week absence, but failed to do much on the ground. Williams rushed nine times for 23 yards and didn't find the end zone in the Week 5 loss to the Colts. Williams appears healthy now, but is battling veteran back LeSean McCoy for carries in the backfield. It's difficult to tell which player is going to be used more as the Chiefs often go with the hot hand. Regardless, fantasy owners should be able to trust Williams as a RB2 for Week 6 against the Houston Texans.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 2:43am ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams (knee) carried the ball nine times for 23 yards against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Oct. 6. He also caught three passes for 15 yards.

Fantasy Spin: KC rarely ran the ball, but Williams had all nine of the RBs carries as LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams combined for zero. This game has a "flush it and forget it" sort of feel so don't focus too much of Williams' modest production. Instead, focus on the fact that he was the RB of choice, which could continue next week against the Texans.

From TheHuddle

Oct 7 12:50am ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams (knee) played in Sunday's Week 5 contest versus the Colts for the first time since suiting up in Week 2. It was not a strong first game back for Williams as the Colts Defense was easily able to hold him in check. Williams rushed nine times for 23 yards and caught three passes for 15 yards through the air. He'll continue to get touches, but Williams is only a RB2 right now. There is a good chance that Williams plays better against the below average Houston Texans Defense in Week 6.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 7:13pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams (knee) is active for the Week 5 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Spin: Williams was able to practice all week, so this isn't much of a surprise. It remains to be seen how the snaps in the backfield will be distributed between Williams, LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams. Damien Williams is a risky flex fantasy play, because he could have a big role, or a very small role as they ease him back into action.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 9:23am ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams (knee) is expected to play in Week 5's game against the Indianapolis Colts, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Williams was listed as questionable on the injury report despite being a full participant in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week. He can be viewed as a flex option in many fantasy formats, although it's uncertain how many offensive snaps he will see due to the presence of LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams, who both played well during his absence.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 7:33pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 4, but is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Williams was a full participant all week and should be in uniform for the Chiefs. It is not known if he will regain his starting role, but he can still be at least a flex option in leagues.
