2024 RTSports Outlook

Sanders was 11th overall in kicker scoring last year with 119 points. He had another solid season but struggled some on longer kicks, going just 2-of-6 on field goals of 50-plus yards. He is just 4-of-12 from that distance the last two seasons. The good news is the Dolphins' offense puts up a lot of points now, so Sanders will get his weekly chances. Sanders has made at least 90 percent of his field goals two of five seasons. Sanders is an accurate kicker on shorter kicks and has been up and down on longer attempts. He has strong leg and is capable of the long kick.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Sanders is just outside that elite group of kickers. He should be considered a low-end No. 1 for fantasy teams. Look for around 125 points.

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders wasn't able to continue his super hot streak in Week 17 but was able to deliver on a couple of field goals. He made two of them within 39 yards and made his only extra-point attempt of the night against the Baltimore Ravens. He'll welcome the Buffalo Bills into Miami in Week 18 for a game that decides who takes home the number-two seed in the AFC. The last time they played, in Week 4, Sanders only saw two extra points and didn't get to attempt a single field goal. The offense turned in one of their worst performances which shouldn't happen twice to the same team while playing at home. Sanders will likely get plenty of field goal work to make sure they put points on the board and get some home field advantage for the playoffs.

Dec 30 3:00pm ET

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders has been on a bit of a hot streak since starting the season off very slowly. In Week 16, he posted his best fantasy performance of the season after making three 50-yarders, one 30-yarder, and then icing the game on a 29-yarder while adding an extra point. After two double-digit fantasy outings in the first nine games, he now has five such performances in the last six games. The offense is going up against the Baltimore Ravens who have given up some big fantasy weeks to opposing kickers since the defense tends to force opposing offenses to stall in the red zone and field goal range. Sanders can be considered a strong streaming option in Week 17.

Miami Dolphins PK Jason Sanders made all five of his field goal attempts and a PAT to finish with 16 points against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 24.

Dec 23 5:00pm ET

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders posted another double-digit fantasy performance in Week 15 after making a 20-yarder and two 30-yarders while adding on three extra points. He now has four double-digit outings in five games since their Week 10 bye after posting just two in the first nine weeks. Even though the Dallas Cowboys have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers, the Dolphins have a good enough offense to move the ball into field goal range. As long as the offense doesn't get completely stifled, Sanders should post a quality game. If needed, Sanders can serve as a streaming option, but he's not a must-start kicker at this moment.

Dec 18 11:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins PK Jason Sanders converted all three of his field-goal attempts, while also posting three point-after attempts, in Week 15 against the New York Jets. The 12 points tied a season high, which he also accomplished in Week 1. He has notched eight or more points in five straight outings, averaging 9.6 points per game during the span.

Dec 16 10:50am ET

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders missed one of his three field goal attempts in Week 14 while making all three extra-point attempts. If he could knock through his 40-yarder, he would have finished with a fourth consecutive double-digit fantasy performance. Against the New York Jets in Week 15, the offense is likely to stall if the passing game can't get into a rhythm. Which means there should be more kicking opportunities for Sanders. He's not exactly trustworthy as a top kicker, since he sits at K20 this season, but he could be started in a pinch for those trying to get through the first round of fantasy playoffs.

Dec 9 9:20pm ET

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders has now strung together three quality outings in a row as he's scored double-digit fantasy points in each one of them. In Week 13, he was able to make his lone field goal attempt, which was a 40-yarder, and make all six of his extra points. The Dolphins' offense is likely to turn in another big day against the Tennessee Titans so Sanders should be a beneficiary with plenty of extra point attempts. The Titans have also given up the second-most fantasy points to kickers this season. Sanders can be considered a high-level streaming option in this matchup.

Dec 1 7:20pm ET

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders had an eight-week streak of single-digit fantasy outcomes until the last two weeks. In Week 12, Sanders made a 38 and 54-yard field goal while making all four of his extra-point attempts. The Dolphins offense is likely to turn in a big week against a weak Commanders defense and Sanders will benefit from the extra point work. On top of that, they'll likely be within field goal range often in this game so Sanders is bound to at least get a couple of opportunities. He can be considered a solid streaming option in this matchup.

Nov 23 10:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders finally got some more opportunities in Week 11 and turned it into double-digit fantasy points for the first time since Week 3. That earlier game came from 10 extra points against the Broncos, so his last double-digit point with actual field goal attempts was in Week 1. He made two of his three attempts and made both extra points against the Raiders because the offense seemed to stall quite a lot. Against the New York Jets in Week 12, the offense has a greater chance at stalling in field goal range which gives Sanders some value this time. He can be considered a lower-level option with some upside since the Jets have kept opponents under 20 points in about half of their games this season.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 12:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders has kicked a total of just nine field goals this season and has made seven of them. In comparison, he's kicked 37 extra points and made 36 of those. His fantasy points are mainly coming from extra points as the Dolphins' offense has been a touchdown machine. This trend shouldn't be much different against the Las Vegas Raiders as the Dolphins should be able to gash the defense on the ground and even pass over top of it at any given chance. Sanders isn't on the fantasy radar right now as there are kickers getting a lot more opportunities on the waiver wire.
