Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had 19 carries for 60 rushing yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 10 loss against the Denver Broncos. He also caught three of his five targets for an additional three receiving yards. The rookie was relatively inefficient on the ground and through the air, but managers should be intrigued by his high-volume role and touchdown despite the loss. He played 87 percent of the offensive snaps on Thursday Night Football, maintaining a significant workload in a slightly negative game script scenario. He should continue to be viewed as a fringe top-12 fantasy running back.

Nov 6 8:40am CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty should be viewed as a quality RB2 option when the Raiders take on a quality Denver Broncos defense on Thursday. The rookie from Boise State has been something of a letdown, given where he was taken in most preseason fantasy drafts, but he has such control over the Vegas backfield that he still enters Week 10 as the No. 13 overall fantasy running back. Jeanty has eclipsed 80 yards only once in eight games, a 138-yard showing against the Chicago Bears in Week 4, though his 25 targets have made him a regular part of the team's passing game and given him additional fantasy value. At 2-6, the Raiders look headed for yet another lost season, but a running back playing more than 70% of his team's offensive snaps should be in fantasy lineups.

Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 42 rushing yards, five catches, 42 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Jaguars. Dynasty Analysis: The Raiders lost a heartbreaker in overtime to the Jags but it was hardly the fault of Jeanty, who looked good today. While he hasn't been the dominant force we expected, today was at least one of his better days. Jeanty will look to build on this performance moving forward and a big second half would solidify his spot as a RB1 moving into next season. His ADP slide will certainly pause after this week.

Nov 2 9:30pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie first-round running back Ashton Jeanty had another mediocre performance on the ground in the team's Week 9 overtime loss to the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but he salvaged his day for fantasy managers by catching all five of his targets for 47 yards and a touchdown through the air. On the ground, Jeanty handled a team-high 13 carries for 42 yards (3.2 yards per carry). The 21-year-old was able to bounce back coming out of the bye week after he had a season-low six carries for 21 yards and only one catch for 13 yards in the Week 7 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. It's been slow going for Jeanty the last three games behind a shaky Raiders offensive line, and things won't get any easier on a short week on Thursday Night Football against a stout Denver Broncos defense in Week 10. Through his first eight NFL games, Jeanty has three rushing scores and three receiving touchdowns.

Nov 1 3:40pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty will battle the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville's defense ranks eighth against fantasy running backs this season, but the Raiders will look to get Jeanty involved early in what should be an evenly matched game. The team has also been trending towards higher usage for Jeanty in the passing game, and they should continue to put their best playmaker in situations where he is operating in space. Jeanty's workload should remain high following the bye week, making him a safe low-end RB1 option.

Dynasty | Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had 21 rushing yards, one catch and 13 receiving yards in a loss to the Chiefs. Dynasty Analysis: The Raiders had 95 net yards on offense on the day. Ninety. Five. This was hardly Jeanty's fault as he only had seven touches on the day. The Raiders are consistently finding themselves in negative game scripts and it's been a mess all season. With Geno Smith completely ineffective, defenses are teeing off on Jeanty and the Raiders haven't been able to counter. This is quickly looking like a bit of a lost season for Jeanty, who needs an infusion of talent and perhaps a different scheme to truly break out. His ranking is slipping a little but most realize some of this isn't his fault.

Oct 17 12:40pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty is expected to handle a heavy workload in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. With the Chiefs' offense catching fire in recent weeks, the Raiders will likely try to control the tempo by leaning on Jeanty and the ground game. The rookie has thrived in outside zone concepts, an area where Kansas City's defense has struggled, setting him up for a potentially productive day. The Chiefs rank 19th in rushing yards allowed per game (119.2), creating an ideal matchup for Jeanty to exploit. Expect the Raiders to establish the run early and often, keeping Patrick Mahomes off the field while feeding their emerging backfield workhorse. Jeanty profiles as a strong RB2 play in fantasy lineups and could deliver one of his best performances of the season on Sunday.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty recorded a season-high 23 rush attempts for 75 yards and a touchdown in their 20-10 win over the Titans in Week 6. Head coach Pete Carroll spoke on Wednesday regarding the workload for his star rookie running back and said that he hopes that is the norm for him moving forward. Jeanty has topped 20 carries twice this season, including a career-high performance in Week 4 against the Bears, when he rushed for 138 yards and scored three total touchdowns. He hasn't been very efficient running behind a poor run-blocking offensive line, but his touch volume ranks among the highest at the position. Jeanty will rank as a low-end RB1 in Week 7 against the Chiefs.

Oct 13 12:10am CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty carried the ball 23 times for 75 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown during Sunday's Week 6 win over the Tennessee Titans. He also caught two of his four targets for an additional 11 receiving yards. While fantasy managers will be rightfully intrigued by the rookie's volume and touchdown, there continues to be some concern about his efficiency (or lack thereof) as he was held to just 3.26 yards per carry against the Titans, bringing his season average down to 4.04 YPC. Jeanty's road gets tougher in Week 7 as he faces the Kansas City Chiefs. In that matchup, the Boise State product is best viewed as a mid-to-low fantasy RB2.

Oct 12 8:13pm CT

Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 75 rushing yards, two catches, 11 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win against Tennessee. Dynasty Analysis: This was the game script everyone was hoping for as the Raiders simply kept giving him the ball as they nursed a lead. His 23 carries were a new career high and while his yards per carry (3.3) weren't great, he was at least efficient. Jeanty has been a solid workhorse but far from dominant so far this year. His value is stable but pretty volatile at the same time.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Oct 10 6:30pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty continues to earn a larger role in the offense, showing off his versatility once again in Week 5 against the Colts. Jeanty drew seven targets, catching five passes and racking up 109 total yards from scrimmage despite not finding the end zone. His growing involvement as both a runner and receiver provides a strong floor for fantasy managers, especially with the Raiders offense increasingly leaning on him amid Geno Smith's turnover issues and Brock Bowers' absence. Heading into Week 6, Jeanty gets a dream matchup against a Tennessee Titans defense that ranks 29th against the run. With consistent usage and an expanding role in the passing game, Jeanty should be viewed as a strong RB2 with RB1 upside in PPR formats and a must-start in all standard leagues.

Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 67 rushing yards, five catches and 42 receiving yards in a loss to the Colts. Dynasty Analysis: It's fair to wonder just what the Raiders were thinking when drafting Jeanty. It's not that he's a bad player because he's clearly not. However, running backs are more luxuries than necessities and this team is a disaster at the moment. Jeanty is going to have some big days this year but the thought of him being a true RB1 on a team playing this poorly is hard to really fathom. Jeanty's dynasty value is pretty stable, though it may go down before it goes up again as he continues to play in games with negative game scripts.

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll had some good words to say about rookie first-round running back Ashton Jeanty after his first five games in the league. "I think Ashton is handling everything beautifully," Carroll said. The 21-year-old Boise State product was a disappointment for fantasy managers who took him early in drafts through the first three weeks, but then he showcased his game-changing playmaking skills in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears when he ran for 138 yards and a touchdown on a season-high 21 carries. He has two rushing TDs and has also added two receiving scores, but he only has 12 receptions through five weeks. In the Week 5 blowout loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Jeanty had single-game career highs in targets, catches, and receiving yards. It hasn't been perfect early on in the Raiders' struggling offense, but Jeanty's explosiveness is evident, making him a must-start RB1 every week. He could easily bust out again in Week 6 versus the one-win Titans.

Oct 4 5:10am CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty erupted in Week 4 against the Bears, racking up 155 total yards and three touchdowns in a true breakout performance. Remarkably, that single-game yardage output surpassed his combined production from the first three weeks, signaling a potential turning point for the rookie back. With quarterback Geno Smith struggling to protect the football, the Raiders are expected to emphasize Jeanty in both the ground game and short passing attack heading into a Week 5 matchup with the Colts. Indianapolis boasts the ninth-ranked run defense and a disruptive unit that sits fourth in the league in turnover percentage, but Jeanty's dual-threat skill set gives him a reliable path to volume and scoring opportunities. Fantasy managers should view Jeanty as a strong RB1 moving forward, with a chance to become the centerpiece of the Raiders' offense.
