Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson said Thursday, Jan. 30, he's open to signing an extension with the team this offseason, as he prepares to head into his contract year. 'I want to be in Chicago, if they'll have me,' Robinson said. 'The biggest thing is, I can't make that happen solely myself. I just gotta control what I can control. I know that everything will probably play out fine.'
Fantasy Spin: Robinson totaled 1,147 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while catching 98 of 154 targets in 2019. Both figures were his highest in the respective categories since his Pro Bowl 2015 campaign with the Jacksonville Jaguars. While he could likely benefit from an upgrade at the quarterback position on a new team, he does just fine as the No. 1 option in Chicago's passing game. He'll remain a WR2 in all formats for at least the 2020 season.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson, who has a year left on his current contract, said he wants to stay in Chicago long term. I want to be in Chicago, if theyll have me, Robinson said. The biggest thing is, I cant make that happen solely myself. I just gotta control what I can control. I know that everything will probably play out fine. The Bears top receiver had a career-high 98 catches for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns over a full season in his second year in Chicago. He's easily the Bears most consistent receiving weapon, but his fantasy ceiling could remain somewhat limited as a WR2 if quarterback Mitch Trubisky can't improve in 2020.
Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson finished with 98 catches on a career-high 154 targets for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns this season, ranking seventh in the NFL in receptions and third in targets.
Fantasy Spin: After struggling to return to form following a knee injury, Robinson had his best season since a 1,400-yard, 14-touchdown campaign in 2015. He's become the unquestioned go-to option in the Chicago passing attack, and he looks like a reliable WR2 heading into 2020.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson caught eight passes for 71 yards in the Bears 21-19 win over the Vikings in Week 17. Robinson was targeted early and often and, once again, delivered consistent production throughout the game. The veteran receiver has enjoyed a fantastic year, with 1,147 receiving yards, seven touchdowns and a career-high 98 receptions. The Bears offense needs a serious makeover in the offseason but Robinson can be counted on to be a fixture moving forward.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson will finish up his season this Sunday against a Vikings Defense that is allowing the eighth most fantasy points to receivers. Robinson has been a bright spot on a poor Bears offense this season and is 11 catches shy of his first 100-catch season. Robinson heads into the game with 1,076 yards, seven touchdowns and the Vikings have allowed 18 touchdowns to receivers this season. Of all the Bears offensive weapons in Week 17, Robinson is the safest bet to produce in DFS lineups.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson caught six passes for 53 yards in the team's 26-3 loss to the Chiefs. The Bears offense laid another dud but Robinson continued to carry his own water. The veteran was targeted 12 times in the game and, at times, it seemed that he was the only receiver quarterback Mitch Trubisky was looking for. It has been a disastrous offensive season for the Bears but Robinson has delivered a Pro Bowl-caliber season. He can continue to be counted on to make plays next week against the Vikings despite the Bears being eliminated from the playoff chase.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson is having an excellent season but will have one of his tougher tests in Week 16 against the Chiefs. Kansas City's defense is allowing the second fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers and the Bears offense is averaging only 18 points a game this season. Robinson has been a lone bright spot with 83 receptions for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns. He should still see plenty of targets in the game but may need a touchdown to truly help fantasy rosters during championship weekend.
Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky, RBs David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen, WRs Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller are among the players who will continue to start over the final two weeks of the season despite the team falling out of the playoff race, according to head coach Matt Nagy.
Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson registered seven receptions for 125 yards on 14 targets in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy Spin: Robinson saw his three-game touchdown streak come to an end, but he was able to post his third 100-yard game of the season. He has four or more grabs in 13 of his 14 outings this season, too, serving as a solid PPR fantasy option. He'll look to finish up strong in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson caught seven passes for 125 yards in the Bears season-crushing 21-13 loss to the Packers. Robinson surpassed 1,000 yards for the second time in his career on the season and became the first Bear to eclipse that mark since 2014. Robinson has been a steady presence in an otherwise inconsistent Bears offense this season. Robinson will have a decent chance at 100 receptions on the season over the final two games of the year.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson will face the Packers for the second time this season in Week 15. The veteran posted seven receptions for 102 yards in Week 1 and is having a Pro Bowl-type season with 76 receptions for 898 yards and seven touchdowns. The Bears will face a Packers Defense that is allowing the ninth fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and possess some of the more talented cornerbacks in the league. But this shouldn't scare fantasy owners from starting Robinson, who continues to deliver solid performances weekly. Robinson is a solid WR2 with WR1 upside in Week 15 as the Bears season is on the line.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson had five catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns during the win over Dallas on Thursday. Robinson picked up both of his touchdowns in the second quarter and has now scored four times over the last three weeks while also combining for 30 targets during that span. He should continue to benefit from the absence of Taylor Gabriel (concussion), who has sat out the last two games, so keep an eye on his status leading up to the Week 15 matchup against Green Bay.
Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson tallied five receptions, 48 yards and two touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Dec. 5.
Fantasy Spin: While other Bears receivers have risen and fallen this year, Robinson has been consistently the top guy with nearly 900 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on the season, including four in the last three games. He should be a borderline WR2/WR3 candidate over the season's final few weeks.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson will have one of his stiffer matchups in Week 14 against a very tough Cowboys secondary. The Bears offense has been brutal most of the season but Robinson has been fantastic. The veteran heads into Thursday Night Football with 71 receptions for 850 yards and five touchdowns but the Cowboys have allowed only eight touchdowns to all wide receivers all season. The Bears should still force-feed the football to Robinson making him a shaky, but target-heavy, WR2 in Week 14.
Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson caught eight passes for 86 yards and one touchdown against the Detroit Lions in Week 13. He was targeted 12 times during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Robinson has posted at least 86 yards in three of the last four games and has two touchdowns during that span. He will be facing the Dallas Cowboys next week and should be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson caught eight passes for 86 yards and one touchdown in the Bears 24-20 win over the Lions on Thanksgiving. Robinson got the Bears on the board early, making his presence felt in the first quarter and capping it off with a touchdown catch. Robinson posted 86 yards against the Lions in Week 10 and delivered that same number in the second matchup. The Bears offense has struggled this season but Robinson continues to be the best offensive weapon the team can rely on.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson will try and stay hot against the Lions on Thanksgiving in Week 12. Robinson posted a season-high 131 yards with one touchdown last week and will face a Lions Defense that is allowing the 12th most fantasy points to receivers this season. He could see plenty of Darius Slay in the game but Robinson was able to post 86 yards against the Lions two weeks ago. The Lions defense has allowed at least one receiver to post 10-plus fantasy points against them in 10 of their 11 games this season. Robinson will be a solid WR2/3 in Week 13.
Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson registered six receptions for a season-high 131 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Week 12 against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Spin: Robinson posted his first 100-yard game since Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. It was his highest yardage total in a regular season game since he had 133 yards and two scores against the Detroit Lions on Nov. 11, 2018. The Lions are the next opponent at Ford Field on Thanksgiving in Week 13.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson recorded six receptions for 131 yards and one touchdown in the Bears 19-14 win over the Giants in Week 12. Robinson got off to a great start and delivered for all four quarters, leading the Bears with 11 targets. His fantasy day could have been even better if a offensive penalty didn't negate a 60-yard catch and run. Robinson now leads the Bears with 764 yards and four touchdowns on the season. The veteran receiver will have an excellent matchup on Thanksgiving facing a Lions Defense that Robinson posted 86 receiving yards against in Week 10.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson will have a fantastic matchup against the Giants in Week 12. New York's defense is allowing the second most fantasy points to receivers this season and Robinson has been the Bears only consistent producer. The veteran has 57 receptions for 633 yards but only three touchdowns playing in a dismal offense. Robinson will face a Giants Defense that has allowed six touchdowns to receivers over their last four games and 17 different receivers have posted 10-plus fantasy points against them this season. Robinson will have value on the WR2 map for Week 12's action.
