Penny had his season cut short because of a broken leg. He played alright before the injury, having a 100-yard showing in Week 4. He had at least 50-rushing yards four of five games. Penny averaged an impressive 6.1 yards per carry, giving him two straight season averaging more than six yards per carry. Penny has a long injury history, which is a concern. He is yet to play a full season as a pro. He has played really well when on the field, though. Penny will challenge for a starting job this year with his new team, the Eagles. He could produce big in this offense with the chances but has some good backs to compete with for touches. Penny is good between the tackles and has enough speed to make plays to the outside. He also catches the ball pretty well and puts forth good effort in pass protection, but hasn't gotten much work in the passing game to date. He does lack a little elite speed but makes plays after contact and can be explosive.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Penny is a good mid-round gamble. He has injury risks but can play at a high level when on the field. Penny can get around 800 total yards, double-digit receptions and five scores, but could easily exceed that if he starts dominating touches for the Eagles at running back.
