Hamler had his season cut short last year because of a nagging hamstring injury. He had seven receptions for 165 yards in seven games. He did make some big plays with his few chances, averaging an impressive 23.6 yards per reception. Hamler has just 12 receptions his last two seasons, having injury issues each of the last two years. He should be healthy for the start of his year but is likely fourth on the depth chart at receiver behind three solid options in the passing game. Hamler lacks size and strength but can make up for that because of his playmaking ability and ability to get to the next level in a hurry. He can make a lot of big plays out of the slot. His size is a concern, though, especially against press coverage.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Hamler has a lot to fight with for targets but should get some weekly work in this offense. He could have a few big games along the way but likely a stretch for fantasy teams. He should get around 25 receptions for 300 yards and a score or two.

The Buffalo Bills aren't done playing yet, but they're already adding to their 2024 roster. On Saturday, the Bills signed wide receiver KJ Hamler to a reserve/future contract. Hamler didn't play at all this season and spent a majority of the time on the Indianapolis Colts practice squad. The 2020 second-round pick has been a bust so far throughout his NFL career. There's hope that he can turn his career around, but he'll need to crack the 53-man roster in training camp.
