Jackson was third on the Lions depth chart most of last season. He got a little work in that role, but not much. He had fewer than 30-rushing yards all but a game. Jackson had 271 total yards in 16 games. Jackson serves the depth role well. He has 400-plus total yards two of three seasons. Jackson averages 4.9 yards per carry for his career. Jackson lacks a little size for the position but runs well and is a solid pass catcher. He might be best suited as a third-down back because of a lack of bulk. He has made plays with past chances.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Jackson has produced similar fantasy numbers his first five seasons in the league. Expect more of the same this year. He isn't a player to consider drafting unless you are in a deep format. He could get around 400 total yards with a score or two.
