Scott was third on the depth chart much of the season for the Eagles and didn't get much work in that role. He had 232 total yards and three touchdowns in 15 games. He actually was a bigger factor in the Eagles playoff run to the Super Bowl, scoring touchdowns two of three games. He is likely to serve a backup role once again this year. Scott has more than 500 total yards just once in five seasons. Scott is a very small back. He might be the shortest back in the game right now. He has top speed and moves in space, though. Scott catches the ball well and is a playmaker. His lack of size gives him durability concerns. Plus, he is not a great inside runner because of his size.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Scott might be worth a late-round look in deeper formats. He is going to get some catches and has some weekly total yard potential. Expect around 20 receptions and 300 total yards for Scott.

Former Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott reached an agreement on an undisclosed one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday, according to sources. The Rams backfield now boasts Kyren Williams, rookie third-rounder Blake Corum, Scott and others. In addition to those three, LA also has Ronnie Rivers and Zach Evans as backfield depth. The 29-year-old Scott was mostly a complementary third-down, pass-catching back in his six years with the Eagles but was never a big part of the offense. The former sixth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2018 out of Louisiana Tech has never gone over 374 rushing yards in a single season, and his seven-touchdown campaign in 2021 was an outlier. Barring injuries, Williams and Corum figure to see most of the Rams' backfield touches in 2024.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott notably scored at least one touchdown in all eight of his career games against the New York Giants heading into Monday. This streak began in December of 2019 and extended to January of 2023. Unfortunately, his luck ran out in Week 16 of the 2023 season. Scott rushed just one time for three yards and lost a fumble on a kick return. D'Andre Swift and Kenneth Gainwell remain the clear lead backs in Philadelphia, so Scott is nowhere near the fantasy radar.
