Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) was able to practice in full this week and has been cleared to face the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in Week 11. Mims suffered a concussion in Week 8 and missed the last two games, but he'll be back as the Broncos look to separate themselves further atop the AFC West division. It's good news for a struggling Denver offense, but things won't get any easier this weekend against a tough KC defense that is coming off its bye. The 23-year-old Mims is a big play waiting to happen, but he hasn't had enough volume in 2025 to be a realistic WR4/flex play in 12-team fantasy football leagues. Coming into Week 11, has taken a back seat to second-year man Troy Franklin, catching 22 of 32 targets for 234 yards and one touchdown in eight games. Mims' return will also put a dent in Franklin's upside in a bad matchup.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) was a full participant in practice again on Thursday. The 23-year-old posted inconsistent results when healthy earlier this season, operating behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Mims performs best in big-play scenarios and special teams returns, but he's shown some trouble consistently producing ahead of Sutton and Franklin. The 23-year-old is expected to play in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he'll merely rank as a WR5.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) was able to get through a full practice session on Wednesday. This is a step in the right direction for Mims who sat out last week's win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Mims has missed the last two games due to a concussion, but has a chance to return in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He'll need to clear concussion protocol before being eligible to return to game action, but a full session of practice is a step in the right direction. Mims should have a role behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin in this passing attack.

Despite being listed as limited in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Denver Broncos have ruled out wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) for a second straight game for the Week 10 matchup against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday Night Football. Mims suffered a concussion in the Week 8 win over the Dallas Cowboys and was unable to play in Sunday's victory over the Houston Texans. He'll miss his second straight game, but hopefully he'll clear the league's concussion protocol in time to suit up for a crucial divisional contest next week against the Kansas City Chiefs. With the 23-year-old sidelined again, Troy Franklin and rookie Pat Bryant will once again have additional opportunities to make noise in the passing attack in a plus matchup behind WR1 Courtland Sutton. Tight end Evan Engram should also bounce back after posting a donut last week.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) was able to return to the practice field on Tuesday. This is positive news after Mims began the week on the sidelines during Monday's estimated practice. Mims has been out since suffering a concussion during the Week 8 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. He remains in concussion protocol, but Mims has a chance to suit up for Thursday's Week 10 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Fantasy managers should check back on Wednesday for another update on his status.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) was listed as a non-participant during Monday's estimated practice. Mims suffered a concussion during the Week 8 win over the Dallas Cowboys. As a result, Mims wasn't able to practice all week and sat out in Week 9. Now, there's a decent chance Mims isn't ready to play in Week 10 with a quick turnaround against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday. There is still time for Mims to get cleared, but he's not trending in the right direction. Both Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin figure to both gain value if Mims is unable to play

Oct 31 4:50pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) has been officially ruled out for the Week 9 contest on the road this Sunday against the Houston Texans. Mims suffered a concussion in last week's blowout victory over the Dallas Cowboys and was unable to practice at all this week. With a quick turnaround coming for a Week 10 divisional matchup on Thursday night next week against the Las Vegas Raiders, Mims may miss another game. The 23-year-old pass-catcher has been a borderline rosterable bench player in 12-team fantasy leagues this year with 22 receptions for 234 yards and just one touchdown. Mims has had a couple of boom games, but outside of that, he's been a bust in fantasy. With Mims sidelined this Sunday, look for Troy Franklin to have a higher ceiling as the team's WR2 behind Courtland Sutton.

Oct 30 4:50pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) is missing his second straight day of practice this week on Thursday due to a concussion that he suffered in the Week 8 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, according to Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports. Mims still has one more day to try and get back on the practice field, but as of now, things aren't looking good for him getting cleared to play this Sunday in Houston against the Texans. The 23-year-old continues to be a boom-or-bust WR4/flex option in deeper fantasy leagues in Denver's offense in 2025, having posted only two double-digit-point performances in half-PPR scoring through eight weeks. Mims also has five games where he's recorded under 5.0 half-PPR points. Second-year wideout Troy Franklin has been more consistent than Mims, is coming off a two-touchdown game, and will be the primary beneficiary if Mims is inactive this weekend.

Oct 29 6:50pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol and was unable to practice on Wednesday, according to Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver. Mims suffered a concussion in last Sunday's blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys and is now in danger of missing his first game of the 2025 season in Week 9 versus the Houston Texans. He will first need to get back on the practice field on Thursday or Friday, but even if he does, Mims could be facing an uphill battle to get cleared by an independent neurologist ahead of Sunday's contest. The 23-year-old has so far been overshadowed by second-year wideout Troy Franklin in Denver's offense. If Mims is active, he'll continue to be a boom-or-bust flex option for fantasy managers. Mims has only two games with double-digit, half-PPR points through eight weeks and has scored just once.

Oct 26 7:30pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. entered concussion protocol following Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Troy Renck of the Denver Post. The team never announced an injury status for Mims mid-game, so it's unclear exactly when he suffered the injury. It may have occurred with 4:39 left in the fourth quarter when Mims returned a kick 26 yards. He finished the game with two punt returns and three kick returns. On offense, he was unable to haul in his lone target. The 23-year-old faces an uphill battle to clear concussion protocol in the seven days between now and Denver's Week 9 contest against the Houston Texans. Perhaps Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders is a more reasonable date to target for Mims' return to action. Pat Bryant will likely step up as the Broncos' No. 3 receiver behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin.

Oct 26 8:50am CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. saw a season-high workload last week, and he'll look to carry that momentum into Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. Mims tied his season-high snap share (53%) in last week's victory and caught six of seven targets for 85 yards. His involvement took a significant leap, which is a very encouraging sign for this weekend's contest against Dallas. The Cowboys have played in plenty of shootouts this year, and we could see a similar scenario unfold on Sunday. Dallas has allowed the most offense (401.6 yards per game) this season, as well as the most passing yards per game (260.3). Meanwhile, the Cowboys' defense has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing receivers in 2025, as well as the third-most receiving yards (1,182) and the most touchdowns (12). There is an opportunity for several Broncos pass catchers to feast on Sunday, and Mims is one of them. As a deep threat with an increased role on offense, Mims has suddenly emerged as a potential WR3/flex in deeper leagues.

Oct 22 9:00am CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. had his best game of the season in the team's wild comeback win over the Giants in Week 7, catching six of his seven targets for 85 yards and adding a carry for 13 yards. Mims ran a season high 56.6% of the routes and delivered his most receiving yards in a game since Week 17 last season against the Bengals. The 23-year-old has played in a rotational role for the most part this season while also playing a key role on special teams, returning punts and kicks. Head coach Sean Payton likes to rotate his receivers, but Mims could be in line for more opportunities in a potential shootout in Week 8 against the Cowboys after his strong showing in Week 7.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. has served mostly behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin this season as the third receiver. Mims had his best game of the season in Week 4 against the Bengals, catching all six targets for 69 yards and rushing for a 16-yard touchdown. But he was unable to follow it up in Week 5 against Philadelphia, catching just two of five targets for 10 yards. The full-time role hasn't been there for Mims as head coach Sean Payton has rotated a lot of players at wide receiver. That leaves Mims as a tough player to trust in lineups for Week 6, where Denver will travel to London to face the Jets.

After dealing with hip and ankle injuries throughout practice this week, Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (hip, ankle) has been cleared and doesn't carry an injury designation against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Mims will look to stay hot coming off a six-catch outing for 69 yards with a 16-yard rush attempt for a touchdown on top of that. While the Eagles' 15th-ranked pass defense might be forced to focus more on Courtland Sutton, Mims will have a chance to flash while he takes the field for what seems to be a consistent trend of 40-50% of the offensive snaps. Although incredibly efficient with his offensive snaps, Mims can't yet be trusted as more than a boom/ bust flex option going into Week 5.

Oct 2 4:40pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (ankle, hip) is practicing on Thursday for the second straight day this week, according to Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports. Mims was limited on Wednesday, but it's unclear what his practice participation was on Thursday. Either way, the fact that he's practiced two days this week means that he should be active for a showdown on the road in Week 5 against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. After three quiet weeks to begin the 2025 season, Mims caught all six of his targets for 69 yards in the Monday night win over the Cincinnati Bengals and added a rushing touchdown for his second score of the year. Quarterback Bo Nix has been spreading the wealth on offense so far in his second season, making it hard to rely on any wideout in Denver every week in fantasy other than WR1 Courtland Sutton. Mims will be a boom/bust WR4/flex against Philly on Sunday if he's active.

Sep 30 8:50am CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. caught a season-high six passes for 69 yards on Monday night against the Bengals, and he added his first touchdown of the year on a 16-yard rushing attempt. Mims only had six catches total in the first three weeks of the season, and matched that total by hauling in all six of his targets in Week 4 while more than doubling his receiving yards as well. Mims is loaded with big-play upside, and if the Broncos make an effort to get him more regularly involved in the offense, he could be a boom-or-bust flex option, especially headed into bye weeks. This week, he'll have a tough matchup against the Eagles, remaining a volatile but potentially productive receiver option.

Sep 29 6:40pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (hip) was a late addition to the Week 4 injury report on Saturday after he was limited in practice, and he entered Monday night's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals with a questionable tag. However, Mims has been cleared and will be active in Week 4 as the Broncos look to even their record at 2-2. The 23-year-old former second-rounder took a step forward in his sophomore year in 2024, catching 39 of 52 targets for 503 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. However, Mims has been the WR3 through three weeks in 2025 behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin in a Broncos offense that has started slow for the second straight year. He enters Monday night with six catches on 10 targets for 40 yards and a touchdown. Mims can break loose for big plays at any moment, though, and he'll be facing a Bengals defense that he torched for 103 yards and two touchdowns in the regular-season finale in 2024.
