Tennessee Titans WR Tyler Boyd caught two passes for 26 yards against the New York Jets in Week 2. He was targeted five times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Boyd has been targeted 10 times in the first two games of the season but has been held to under 30 yards both times. He will see a few targets each game but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Tyler Boyd (bruised foot) is currently dealing with a bruised foot but is expected to miss only a few days, according to head coach Brian Callahan. Boyd, who joined the Titans this offseason, is projected to be the No. 3 receiver behind Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins. If he can return healthy, he remains a solid late-round pick in fantasy leagues. Boyd's connection with Callahan, his former offensive coordinator with the Bengals, is a positive factor for his performance. However, the injury situation in the Titans' receiving corps is concerning, with Hopkins (knee) expected to be out for four to six weeks. This situation dampens Will Levis's sleeper potential, who now has two top receivers sidelined. On a positive note, Ridley will likely see an increase in targets, making him a value pick at his current ADP.

Dynasty | The Titans have signed wide receiver Tyler Boyd. Dynasty Analysis: Amazingly, Boyd has already spend eight years in the league (all with the Bengals). Over the span of his career, he's posted 513 catches for exactly 6,000 yards with 31 touchdowns. The Titans were steadfast in their approach to improve their offense and have now added Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley and Boyd to a new-look team. The move will certainly have fantasy implications, most notably pushing Treylon Burks down one more spot in the pecking order. Boyd remains a low-ceiling player to have on a dynasty roster but he could have real short-term value should an injury (or a suspension) occur with Hopkins or Ridley.

May 7 7:03pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Tyler Boyd probably will be the leading candidate for the No. 3 receiver job this upcoming season because of his familiarity with head coach Brian Callahan's offensive scheme.

Fantasy Spin: Boyd probably will be used as the slot receiver of the Titans and should see a few targets each game. He can be a late round option in fantasy drafts but probably will not be a starting option most weeks unless he builds a good connection with Will Levis.

Free-agent WR Tyler Boyd (Bengals) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth up to $4.5 million with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, May 7.

Fantasy Spin: The fit makes sense considering Boyd played for new head coach Brian Callahan while the latter was his offensive coordinator with the Cincinnati Bengals. Boyd should be the third receiver in three-receiver packages - which Tennessee figures to use a lot - and the primary backup for Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins in two-receiver sets. Whether Boyd can be anything more than the WR5 option he has been in recent seasons will depend mostly on Will Levis, but the Titans do not lack for receiver talent for the first time in years.

The Tennessee Titans are signing veteran free-agent wide receiver Tyler Boyd to a one-year deal worth up to $4.5 million, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. The former Cincinnati Bengal visited Tennessee last week and will now reunite with his former offensive coordinator and new Titans head coach Brian Callahan. While Boyd's fantasy value with Tennessee is likely capped by DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley, this is a promising addition for quarterback Will Levis. The Titans are signaling a shift toward a more pass-happy approach following the departure of Derrick Henry and the moves the franchise has made this offseason. 2022 first-round pick Treylon Burks is now the odd man out, and there's a chance he could be traded after two disappointing seasons to begin his career. The 29-year-old Boyd has hauled in 437 passes for 5,172 yards and 28 receiving touchdowns over his last six seasons and is viewed as one of the better slot receivers in the NFL.

Free-agent wide receiver Tyler Boyd was in Los Angeles this week to meet with the Los Angeles Chargers and is also scheduled to meet with the Tennessee Titans later this week, according to a source. The market should be heating up for Boyd, who had 513 catches for 6,000 yards in his eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. The 29-year-old wideout fell out of favor in fantasy circles as the No. 3 behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in recent seasons, though, but perhaps he'll resurface with a change of scenery. His best chance to do so would probably be with the Bolts after they traded Keenan Allen and lost Mike Williams to free agency this offseason, although LA is also transitioning to more of a run-first offense under new head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman.

Apr 7 10:13am ET

Free-agent WR Tyler Boyd (Bengals) has attracted interest from multiple clubs over the past month but he is unlikely to sign a contract before the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Spin: The Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers are among the clubs that have been linked to Boyd in recent weeks. However, regardless of where he lands, Boyd should be viewed as a WR4 or WR5 fantasy option with limited upside in leagues of 12 or more teams.

Apr 6 8:30pm ET

According to Mark Kaboly of The Athletic, free agent wide receiver Tyler Boyd doesn't appear to be heading to the Steelers. "From what I have been told, Boyd was extremely interested in Pittsburgh at the beginning of the free-agency process," wrote Kaboly. "But the offer wasn't something he was comfortable with." It's only April, so it is possible both sides could revisit things after the NFL Draft. However, Boyd should have more than a few teams willing to sign him, with recent reports suggesting that the Chiefs, Chargers, Dolphins, Lions, and 49ers have expressed interest in bringing him in. With that said, the 2016 No. 55 overall pick is coming off a down year, amassing 67 catches for 667 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games. Yet, Boyd should still command attention from fantasy managers heading into the 2024-25 campaign, although his outlook is contingent on where he lands during the offseason.

Apr 2 3:33pm ET

Free-agent WR Tyler Boyd has received 'preliminary interest' from the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions, according to Mark Kaboly of The Athletic.

Fantasy Spin: Per Kaboly, the Pittsburgh Steelers no longer appear to be interested. In terms of the best landing spot for his fantasy stock, the Chargers would seem to be his best bet - at least for now. Even if the Chargers add a first-round receiver this month, Boyd would likely be the primary slot and Justin Herbert's second-best option. The Chiefs and Dolphins would also be decent landing spots. With that said, Boyd's upside is probably in the WR5 range at this point of his career.
