New York Jets RB Thomas Rawls was released Saturday, Sept. 1, according to a source.
New York Jets running back Thomas Rawls will probably be the odd man out in the running back room during training camp, and he is the longest shot to make the roster of the five running backs, including Isaiah Crowell, Bilal Powell, Elijah McGuire, Trenton Cannon and Lawrence Thomas. Rawls never played more than 13 games in his three seasons with Seattle and has been a disappointment since he totaled 830 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie season. He can be ignored in fantasy drafts.
Updating a previous report, New York Jets RB Thomas Rawls has the tallest odds to make the club out of the five running backs, in the opinion of NJ Advance Media's Darryl Slater.
