Dec 31 2:50pm ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin was able to turn in a positive performance one final time in their loss against the Chiefs. Martin ended with 100 yards on 21 carries, giving him over 100 yards in his final two games. There was a bit of skepticism surrounding the signing of Martin in the offseason, but it turned out to be a solid addition, especially once he took over the starting role after Marshawn Lynch went out for the year. Martin is a free agent in the offseason and has a chance to return to Oakland if Lynch decides to retire.

Dec 30 10:23pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin rushed 21 times for 100 yards and caught one pass for one yard in a 35-3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17. He also lost a fumble.

Fantasy Spin: Martin closed the year with back-to-back 100-yard efforts, and he was a serviceable back for Oakland after Marshawn Lynch was injured. However, he isn't currently under contract for 2019, and at his age, there is little chance he will be signed to be a lead back.

Dec 30 7:30pm ET

Oakland's RB Doug Martin ran for 100 yards on 21 carries but no touchdowns in Sunday's loss in Kansas City. It was Martin's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard rushing performance. He has averaged 104 yards rushing in those games.

Dec 25 11:20am ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin had his best game of the season, which helped propel to the Raiders to the win. He ended with 107 yards on 21 carries with one touchdown, which was a season-high in both carries and yards. This now gives Martin four touchdowns in his last five games, a surprising level of production since he took over the starting role from Marshawn Lynch. Martin has one final game next week against the Chiefs to close out a strong second half of the season. He was able to find the end zone the first time he played Kansas City this season, along with adding in two receptions in the passing game.

Dec 25 6:33am ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin produced 107 rushing yards and a touchdown on 21 carries in the club's Week 16 victory Monday, Dec. 24, versus the Denver Broncos. He also added one catch for nine yards.

Fantasy Spin: Martin continued his 2018 resurgence with his first 100-yard performance on the ground in more than three years. Those who were shrewd enough to get his services when Marshawn Lynch went down have to be feeling pretty thankful right now. After logging his best game of the season, Martin will continue to be a viable RB2 in the finale.

Dec 24 11:30pm ET

Raiders' RB Doug Martin ran for 107 yards on 21 carries with one touchdown in Monday's win against the Broncos.

Dec 16 7:23pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin rushed nine times for a team-high 39 yards in Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals, as his three-game touchdown streak was snapped.

Fantasy Spin: The Raiders got away from the run in the second half and his total touches ended up going down, too. He'll look to bounce back in Week 16 against the Denver Broncos on Monday night.

Dec 16 6:30pm ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin was held in check all day against the Bengals and unable to post solid fantasy numbers against the Bengals. Martin had touchdowns in three straight games coming into this week but was unable to extend that streak. He ended with only nine carries for 39 yards, which is the first time he had less than double-digit carries since taking over the starting role from Marshawn Lynch. Martin will continue to make a low-end fantasy option due to the overall inefficiency of the Oakland offense.

Dec 14 5:30pm ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin has a three-game touchdown streak in the works and he will look to extend that versus the Bengals this Sunday. Martin has seen double-digit carries in each game he has started since Marshawn Lynch went out with an injury and turned that into three touchdowns, one in each of his last three games. The matchup this week is very favorable since he is up against the Bengals who have the 28th DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) versus the rush this season.

Dec 13 10:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin faces the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15, and the Bengals have allowed the most rushing yards and second-most rushing touchdowns this season.

Fantasy Spin: Martin has logged double-digit carries in seven straight games, and while he hasn't been overly efficient with his touches, that could change in a big way against a porous Cincinnati defense. Bump him up into the RB2 mix this weekend.

Dec 9 11:43pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin finished with 16 carries for 32 yards and a touchdown in a 24-21 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Martin has scored in three straight games, and while the yardage totals won't blow you away, the steady volume makes him a solid flex play,

Dec 9 9:20pm ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin was able to extend his touchdown streak to three games during Sunday's win against the Steelers. Martin had very limited production overall, with only 16 rushes for 32 carries, but was able to punch in the one touchdown. He has done a solid job filling in the starting role since Marshawn Lynch went out with an injury but will continue to make a low-end RB2 option due to the overall inconsistency of the offense.

Dec 9 3:30pm ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin (knee) and wide receivers Jordy Nelson (foot) and Seth Roberts (concussion) are all active for Week 14 against the Steelers. Running back C.J. Anderson is a healthy scratch after just being signed earlier this week. Martin was expected to play but is more of a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in a game where the Raiders may be playing catch-up from the very start. Nelson was never in danger of sitting and should be heavily targeted. He has WR3 upside. Roberts will be in on three-receiver sets but hasn't been able to do much this year, even with Martavis Bryant out for the year.

Dec 9 12:50pm ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin (knee), who is questionable for Week 14 against the Steelers, is expected to play on Sunday, according to a source. He will play, but he could be somewhat limited and is in danger of being phased out of the offense if the team falls behind big against a strong Steelers offense. Martin is a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex that could lose a lot of touches to passing back Jalen Richard.

Dec 9 8:33am ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin (knee) is expected to play in Week 14's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Martin was listed as questionable on the injury report despite being a full participant in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week. He will continue to receive the bulk of the carries for Oakland and should be viewed as a low-end RB2 or flex option in standard fantasy leagues.

Dec 7 8:13pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 7, but is listed as questionable for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Martin was a full participant during all three days of practice this week, so he should have a good chance to play in Week 14. He has posted decent numbers over the last several weeks and can be a flex option in standard leagues this week.

Dec 7 5:10pm ET

Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Martin practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday but was limited as of Friday, but should be good to go according to reports. Even if he does suit up, he makes a risky play due to the fact the Raiders signed C.J. Anderson this week and we will likely be seeing them playing from behind, which will limit his usage in the offense since he doesn't have a big role in the passing game.

From RotoBaller

Dec 7 4:53pm ET

Oakland Raiders DT Maurice Hurst (ankle) and OL Kelechi Osemele (toe) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 7, and are listed as questionable for Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. LB Kyle Wilber (hamstring) and CB Daryl Worley (shoulder) were limited in practice Friday and are also listed as questionable. RB Doug Martin (knee) and WR Seth Roberts (concussion) were full participants in practice Friday but still listed as questionable. C Rodney Hudson (ankle, knee), OG Gabe Jackson (knee, ankle), and DE Arden Key (knee) remained limited in practice Friday but have been removed from the injury report. WR Jordy Nelson (foot) and DE Frostee Rucker (neck) fully participated in practice Friday and also no longer appear on injury report.

Dec 6 7:53pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin (knee) was a full participant in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 6.

Fantasy Spin: Martin has done a commendable job filling in for Marshawn Lynch, recording at least 50 total yards in all of his starts. Though he's only found the end zone twice, Martin looks like he can continue to be a RB2 for the first round of the fantasy playoffs.

Dec 5 9:33pm ET

Updating a previous report, Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin (knee) 'should be good to go,' according to Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Fantasy Spin: Martin's fantasy owners understandably grew concerned when the club signed C.J. Anderson, but it appears to be for depth purposes in case the former Buccaneer has to exit. He's still a bit of a dicey RB2, though, seeing as how Pittsburgh could blow them out at any point, thus meaning less work for Martin.
