2024 RTSports Outlook

Beckham did not play at all last season, recovering from a torn ACL. He was never healthy enough to make an impact but will look to return to the league this season. Beckham is 30 years old and returning from a major injury after not playing at all last year, but certainly has plenty of upside. He was one of the best receivers in the game earlier in his career. He could get it going once again with the Ravens. He has a chance to be the No. 1 receiver for his new team, playing opposite Rashod Bateman. Beckham has 1,000-yard seasons five of the last nine years and remains a top talent at the position. Beckham is a top athlete with plus speed. He is a great big-play threat that does well after the catch and on the deep ball. He also will make the acrobatic catch. Injuries and age are a concern at this stage of his career.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Beckham is returning from a major injury, which is a concern and moves to an offense that is a lot more run heavy. The talent is there, though, so don't count him out. He is worth a gamble as a No. 4 fantasy receiver. Look for around 70 receptions for 900 yards and five or so scores.

Free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. (Ravens) will not re-sign with the Baltimore Ravens this offseason because of the team's salary cap situation, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Fantasy Spin: Beckham has received interest from a few teams this offseason, and the Miami Dolphins have made an offer to him. Zay Flowers likely will be the main receiver for the Ravens in 2024 and is coming off a productive rookie season. Flowers probably will be a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said at the NFL owners meetings that the Dolphins made an offer to free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., but "business takes time." There remains a gap in the financials on both sides, but the door remains very much open if Beckham decides he wants to sign with Miami in 2024. The 31-year-old veteran wideout had a good visit with the team last Thursday, but the two sides weren't able to work something out. OBJ, who is no longer in peak form after several serious lower-body injuries, caught only 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023. If he were to land in South Beach, he'd likely serve as the No. 3 behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, leaving him limited deep opportunities down the field.

Free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. (Ravens) received an offer from the Miami Dolphins recently.

Fantasy Spin: OBJ isn't the fantasy threat he was, but he can still serve as a useful depth piece as a WR3 or WR4.

From TheHuddle

Mar 21 6:20pm ET

The Miami Dolphins' meeting with free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. went well on Thursday, according to a team source. The Dolphins were pleased with how the meeting went and hope to sign Beckham. The 31-year-old former 12th overall pick by the New York Giants in 2014 out of LSU won't return to Baltimore after he caught 35 of his 64 targets for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 regular-season games (six starts) in 2023. Moving to Miami's high-scoring offense would be good for OBJ's production, but he'd still be at least a distant third on the receiving pecking order behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Beckham had five 1,000-yard seasons in his first six NFL seasons, but then the injuries hit. He'd be more intriguing from a fantasy perspective if he lands in Miami but only as a boom/bust option in deeper leagues.

Free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. (Ravens) had a positive meeting with the Miami Dolphins Thursday, March 21, and the Dolphins would like to sign Beckham, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Beckham likely will be the No. 3 receiver for the Dolphins if he signs since the team would have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in front of him on the depth chart. He will see a handful of targets each game but may only be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Mar 20 8:00pm ET

The Miami Dolphins appear to be a possible landing spot for a free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to Barry Jackson. The veteran wideout was recently released by the Baltimore Ravens. Beckham is clearly not in his prime anymore, but he can still contribute to an NFL roster. Last season, Beckham finished with 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games. He could be an interesting third option behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on the Dolphins offense.

Free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. (Ravens) is receiving interest from the Miami Dolphins, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: The Dolphins already have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, so Beckham likely would be the No. 3 receiver if he signs with Dolphins. The Dolphins have one of the top offenses in the NFL, but Beckham may only be a No. 3 or No. 4 fantasy receiver if he joins Miami.

Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. appears to be moving on from the Baltimore Ravens. The veteran wideout was already a free agent, but the possibility of him returning to Baltimore appears to be over. Beckham recently made a social media post thanking the fanbase of Baltimore. The 31-year-old is not the same receiver he was in his prime, but can still contribute at a high level. He has finished with over 500 receiving yards in each of his last two seasons. There should still be organizations out there looking to add a player of Beckham's caliber, but it seems his time in Baltimore is over.

Dynasty | The Ravens have released wide receiver Odell Beckham. Dynasty Analysis: Beckham landed with Baltimore last year with the hopes of resurrecting his career but ended up posting just 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns. Baltimore felt he simply wasn't worth the contract he was under, so OBJ will now again be looking for another team. Rumors are swirling the Rams could be interested but Beckham should have a few suitors even though he's far from the player he once was. We'll re-evaluate his dynasty ranking when we see where he ends up.

Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. was released with a post-June 1 designation on Thursday, March 14.

Fantasy Spin: Beckham can sign with any team now, but the 31-year-old could be waiting a while for his next gig with good free-agent receivers like Marquise Brown and Curtis Samuel still available and a deep crop of wideouts available in the draft. Although he did put together a nice run during the middle of the season in 2023, managers may have seen the last of OBJ being a capable fantasy starter.

From TheHuddle

Mar 14 1:20pm ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was officially released on Wednesday night with a post-June 1 designation. Beckham's dead money will spread over two years, while the Ravens won't see the salary cap relief until June 2. After signing a one-year, $15 million deal with Baltimore last offseason, the 31-year-old veteran pass-catcher disappointed with 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns on 64 targets in 14 regular-season games (six starts). The only real reliable pass-catchers in Baltimore were rookie Zay Flowers and tight end Mark Andrews. The Ravens could still re-sign OBJ, but if he were to return, he'd have a limited role behind Flowers, Andrews and Rashod Bateman in the passing game. Beckham should land with another team, but his days of being a big part of an offense are likely over.

Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. is unlikely to be re-signed, per source on Sunday, March 3.

From TheHuddle

Feb 29 6:50pm ET

The Baltimore Ravens and impending free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. have stayed in touch this offseason, although it remains uncertain if Beckham will return to the team in 2024. OBJ had only 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns in Baltimore in 2023 while providing veteran leadership for the receiver room. The Ravens re-signed Nelson Agholor earlier this month, but that doesn't preclude Beckham from re-signing. Both general manager Eric DeCosta and head coach John Harbaugh would like to see the 31-year-old return, but that doesn't mean it will work out. And even if Beckham does return to Baltimore, he'll be one to ignore in standard-sized fantasy leagues, especially with the team saying that Rashod Bateman will have a bigger role in 2024.

Jan 29 10:50pm ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. fell flat against the Kansas City Chiefs in a 17-10 loss. The veteran pass-catcher finished the game with three catches for 22 yards on six targets. His longest reception was a six-yard play and he didn't see most of his targets until late in the second half. The 31-year-old finished the year with similar stats as the 2021 season when he split time with the Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams. He serves more of a role as a veteran leader and locker-room presence rather than a constant touchdown threat in every game. He's a free agent going into next season, but he likely will only be worth a very late draft pick if anything in redraft leagues.

Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. ended up with three receptions for just 22 yards in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was targeted six times.

From TheHuddle

Jan 27 3:10pm ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. hasn't been close to his prime numbers from his New York Giants or even Los Angeles Rams days. The good thing for the Ravens is that he wasn't signed to be a superstar. His experience and leadership have done wonders for the younger receiving corps, and he remains a threat for big plays which has drawn a handful of pass interference calls as well. That, unfortunately, doesn't translate to fantasy points though. In the AFC Championship game, he's going up against one of the better pass defenses in the league, and depending on the opposing game plan, he may have to deal with one of the top coverage cornerbacks in L'Jarius Sneed. Beckham is a touchdown-dependent option that is better left off of DFS lineups this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Jan 20 9:43pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. caught his lone target for 12 yards in a 34-10 win over the Houston Texans in their AFC Divisional Round playoff game.

From TheHuddle

Jan 20 9:30pm ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. got off to an early start with a 12-yard catch on the team's first offensive drive, but that concluded his contributions as he finished with just one catch for 12 yards in the team's 34-10 victory over the Texans. Beckham Jr. faced a challenging game script as the Ravens maintained a comfortable lead throughout the second half, focusing on running down the clock. In the passing game, Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and Isaiah Likely took on prominent roles, and the potential return of Mark Andrews (ankle) further diminishes OBJ's role consistency. The Ravens are set to host either the Bills or the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game next week, but Beckham Jr. remains a boom-or-bust, touchdown-dependent option in a run-heavy offense behind other primary targets in the passing game.

From RotoBaller

Jan 19 12:20am ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has had a rollercoaster of a year in terms of fantasy performances. He wasn't the number-one receiver and a lot of the time, either Mark Andrews or Isaiah Likely received more targets than him too. He did still break off big plays throughout the year that got him three touchdowns. Due to his lack of targets, however, he became a touchdown-dependent receiver. The Houston Texans are actually tied with the Ravens in terms of fantasy points per game allowed to opposing receivers with 32.1. Receivers may have gained more yards against the Texans, but they scored fewer touchdowns. Unless the Texans gameplan heavily for Zay Flowers and the tight end position, Beckham doesn't seem to be the one to win any DFS tournaments.
