Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Chargers QB Tyrod Taylor received a two-year, $11 million deal with $6 million guaranteed the first year.

Mar 13 3:00pm ET

The Los Angeles Chargers agreed to an undisclosed two-year deal with free-agent quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Wednesday, a source informed of the deal told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Taylor will become the backup to veteran Philip Rivers in Los Angeles. He started 46 games in the last four seasons with the Bills and Browns and spent time with Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn in Buffalo. Taylor will have zero fantasy value unless Rivers suffers an injury.

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Tyrod Taylor agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers Wednesday, March 13. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Mar 11 5:03pm ET

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Tyrod Taylor is expected to receive interest from the Miami Dolphins during free agency, according to source. One source said Taylor is the team's leading candidate to serve as a bridge quarterback in 2019.

Fantasy Spin: Taylor lost his starting job this past season but has played well at times over the last few seasons. His ability to run helps his fantasy value, but he should only be considered a low-end No. 2 fantasy quarterback if he starts for the Dolphins.

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Tyrod Taylor and New Orleans Saints impending free-agent QB Teddy Bridgewater could be options for the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason if they decide to sign a veteran backup quarterback.

Feb 11 12:43am ET

The Carolina Panthers could seek a veteran backup to QB Cam Newton in free agency, in the opinion of ESPN's David Newton, who lists soon-to-be free-agent QBs Brock Osweiler (Dolphins), Trevor Siemian (Vikings), Tyrod Taylor (Browns), Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buccaneers), Sean Mannion (Rams) and Mark Sanchez (Redskins) as options they could consider.

Jan 25 6:43pm ET

Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent QB Robert Griffin III and Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Tyrod Taylor are possible backup options for the Ravens next season, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Harbaugh said the team will be looking to add two quarterbacks this offseason and want the quarterbacks to play a similar style to QB Lamar Jackson.

Jan 18 8:23pm ET

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Tyrod Taylor could consider the Baltimore Ravens a potential landing spot in free agency this offseason, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. Taylor made his only Pro Bowl in 2015 when new Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman called the plays with the Buffalo Bills, and Taylor spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with Baltimore before leaving for Buffalo in 2015.

Fantasy Spin: With Joe Flacco almost guaranteed to be elsewhere in 2019, the Ravens are going to have to decide if Robert Griffin III is the man they want backing up Lamar Jackson. Taylor didn't play particularly well with the Browns last season, but his game is similar to Jackson's and would allow Baltimore to stick with its game plan if Jackson were to miss time. Taylor will certainly seek out potential starting opportunities elsewhere first, but a reunion with the Ravens makes sense if he doesn't like what the market has to offer.

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Tyrod Taylor could be an option for the Baltimore Ravens this offseason as a backup to QB Lamar Jackson, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley. Taylor had one of his better seasons when offensive coordinator Greg Roman was calling plays for him with the Buffalo Bills.
