Player Notes
Dec 3 2:50am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson came back from a massive error on Monday night to lead his team to victory. In the second quarter, Wilson had a pass get batted back towards him at the line, deep in his own territory. In a failed attempt to knock the ball down, Wilson instead popped it up into the air, where it was easily snagged by a defender and run in for a pick-six. Fortunately, Wilson got it together and would dominate the rest of the game, leading to an impressive victory over a top-tier team. While the MVP talk has died down with the rise of Lamar Jackson, Wilson has led Seattle to the top of the heap in the NFC West, and they look like a Super Bowl contender.

Dec 3 12:23am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 21-of-31 passes for 240 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Week 13 win against the Minnesota Vikings, and he also rushed for 13 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has been getting MVP hype, but his overall fantasy stats aren't great. He does have 26 touchdowns and four interceptions with three rushing scores. But he has just three 300-yard games for fantasy owners, and none over the past three outings.

Nov 30 11:20am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson turns 31 on Saturday, and he'll be set to host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night in a potential playoff matchup. With Seattle at 9-2 and Minnesota at 8-3, the primetime matchup expects to be one of the most watched games of the season. Wilson will be looking to bounce back from two mediocre performances in a row, but Minnesota's defense is no slouch. With a cold, dry night in store for Monday, it should be a good opportunity for Wilson to get back to his MVP-caliber performances from the first half of the season. With Wilson telling the media that he wants to play until he's 45, this would be a great game to help reinforce how good he still at this age.

Nov 25 2:10am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson certainly didn't have the best game of his career, but he did enough to bring home another W on the road. Seattle remains unbeaten on the road after topping the Eagles 17-9 on Sunday. Wilson only completed 13 of his 25 passes for 200 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, but his stat line was greatly hindered by the weather. Wilson missed an unbelievably wide open Jacob Hollister in the end zone when he launched a 10-yard throw about 15 feet over Hollister's head, and D.K. Metcalf dropped a pass that hit him squarely in both hands. The wet, windy conditions helped bring about the win as the defense picked off two passes and snatched up three fumbles from the Eagles, but they hurt Russ's fantasy stats. Expect another tough matchup for the QB next Monday night when he welcomes the Vikings into town.

Nov 24 9:33pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 13-of-25 passes for just 200 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has been touted as an MVP candidate, but the Eagles didn't care. They sacked him six times and really limited his mobility and effectiveness. Wilson will look to bounce back for his fantasy owners in tough matchup on Monday night in Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Nov 22 9:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson didn't put up phenomenal numbers in the team's last game, when they beat the 49ers in overtime, but he did just enough when the game was on the line. This week, he'll be facing a Philadelphia secondary that started out soft but has tightened up as of late. Last week, Philly held Tom Brady without a single touchdown pass, and they'll be looking to keep Wilson in control this time around. The good news is that Wilson should have all his weapons, as the bye allowed Tyler Lockett to fully recover from his horrific shin contusion and Josh Gordon will have no restrictions. Seattle will need Wilson on top of his game to get the win, and he should be able to find a way to make some magic happen.

Nov 22 7:13pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has thrown at least two touchdowns in seven of his 10 games this season and should have success against the Philadelphia Eagles this week. He should be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 5:53pm ET

Seattle Seahawks TE Luke Willson (hamstring) was unable to practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles. DE Jadeveon Clowney (knee, hip) also did not practice all week, while CB Neiko Thorpe (groin) missed practice for a second straight day Friday, Nov. 22; both players are listed as questionable. OT Duane Brown (knee, biceps) did not practice Friday but has been removed from the injury report. WR Tyler Lockett (shin) and DT Jarran Reed (ankle, groin) were limited Friday but also no longer appear on the injury report. S Lano Hill (elbow), QB Russell Wilson (hamstring), S Quandre Diggs (hamstring), PK Jason Myers (hip), DE Quinton Jefferson (hip, ankle), OG Mike Iupati (rest, foot), LB K.J. Wright (shoulder) and OT George Fant (knee) practiced in full Friday and have also been cleared to play.

From TheHuddle

Nov 21 7:33pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (hamstring) remained a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 21.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson should be considered among the top 3-4 options at quarterback this week in a very favorable matchup.

From TheHuddle

Nov 20 7:43pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (hamstring) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has thrown 23 touchdowns and only two interceptions this season and should have success against the Philadelphia Eagles this week. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Nov 12 3:10am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson got off to a slow start on Monday night, but when push came to shove, he continued to be the bane of 49ers fans everywhere. Wilson ended the evening with 232 yards passing, a touchdown, and an interception, but his clutch moments in the second half were truly the important part of the performance. Wilson, like many of the offensive players on the field, fumbled and made some poor decisions on third down, but a couple unbelievable throws and a critical 18-yard run in overtime helped seal San Francisco's first loss of the season. Wilson remains magnificent.

Nov 12 12:23am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 24-of-34 passes for 232 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers and he added six runs for 53 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson threw what appeared to be a critical interception in overtime, but his defense got him the ball back for the game-winning drive for a field goal with zeroes on the clock. The Seahawks have two weeks to recover before Sunday's Week 12 game at Philadelphia. That will give his top WR Tyler Lockett (leg) extra time to heal, too.

From TheHuddle

Nov 9 2:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is currently the front-runner for the MVP award, but he's about to face his hardest matchup of the season. Wilson will be facing the stingiest defense in the NFC on the road when he goes against San Francisco in Santa Clara on Monday night. Wilson has been nearly unstoppable this year, but the 49ers Defense is allowing a measly 8.22 fantasy points on average to opposing quarterbacks. They got touched up a little bit by the Cardinals last week, so there's a bit of hope, but this week's performance is mostly going to ride on how magical Wilson can truly be. Fantasy owners can't avoid starting an MVP candidate without a heck of a Plan B, but those who do roll with Wilson will need to keep their fingers crossed.

From RotoBaller

Nov 9 2:43pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson faces the 8-0 San Francisco 49ers in Week 10. In his career during the regular season, Wilson is 5-0 against teams eight games over. 500 with 12 touchdowns and no interceptions in those contests.

Fantasy Spin: The 49ers have surrendered the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season, but they haven't exactly faced a murderer's row of opposing QBs. Don't expect an elite outing for Wilson, but don't shy away from starting him either.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 1:30am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson dropped bombs on the Bucs on Sunday as he led Seattle to the overtime victory. Wilson completed 67.4% of his passes for 378 yards and five touchdowns as he took down Tampa Bay in overtime. Wilson has now thrown 22 touchdowns and just one interception while running for three touchdowns as well. He's the leading candidate for the MVP this season, and he's carried Seattle to a 7-2 record. He'll have a tough matchup next week, but it's hard to argue with his continued success. Wilson now has a 118.2 passer rating on the year, and he's well on his way to being one of the most valuable fantasy players of the season.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 12:23am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson finished 29-of-43 for 378 yards and five touchdowns in Week 9 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wilson also added a 21-yard run on his only carry.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson is capable of performances like this when offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer is willing to abandon his run-first philosophy and allows his quarterback to take the game over. This week, it only made sense to put the game in Wilson's hands as the Buccaneers have proven to be very accommodating to opposing quarterbacks. The level of difficulty gets a bit tougher in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, but Wilson will be an obvious must-start.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 12:30pm ET

The Seattle Seahawks were doing their due diligence on free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown this week before they claimed wide receiver Josh Gordon on waivers on Friday, according to league sources. Quarterback Russell Wilson was even pushing the team to sign Brown before they claimed Gordon. Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said there are "a few teams that are very interested in signing Antonio once this process is over." The NFL is investigating accusations that Brown sexually assaulted multiple women, which is why the Patriots released him. The league doesn't appear to be close to making a decision at this time, so Brown should remain a free agent for the foreseeable future.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 8:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been the third-best quarterback in fantasy the last five weeks. He also has a fabulous matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week to do more damage. Wilson has averaged 245.2 passing yards and two touchdowns per game through the air the last five games. He only threw one interception total. Wilson is an elite QB1 option this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 8:33pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the NFL this season and should have another favorable matchup this week. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 5:53pm ET

Seattle Seahawks S Quandre Diggs (hamstring) and DE Quinton Jefferson (oblique) were unable to practice all week and are listed as doubtful for Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. S Lano Hill (elbow) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Nov. 1, and is also listed as doubtful. OT Duane Brown (biceps, knee) was limited all week, while S Ugo Amadi (non-injury) was added to the injury report Friday after a limited practice, but both players no longer appear on the injury report. OT Jamarco Jones (knee), S Bradley McDougald (back), CB Tre Flowers (neck), S Marquise Blair (shoulder), QB Russell Wilson (knee), DE Ziggy Ansah (ankle), LB K.J.
