Denver Broncos running back Phillips Lindsay couldn't get anything going against a Chiefs Defense that stepped in the wake of the injury to quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is expected to miss some time after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter. After accumulating four touchdowns over his last four games, Lindsay finished with just 36 yards on 11 carries in this one. Though Royce Freeman managed to rush for a touchdown, expect these two to continue to split carries, with a slight edge going to Lindsay moving forward.

Oct 17 5:40pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay is starting to build an impressive log of games to start the year and he looks to keep the ball rolling against one of the league's worst run defenses on Thursday night. The Chiefs have been abysmal against the run, which should make Lindsay owners salivate as he has a great chance to break quite a few loose to rack up some major yardage. The sophomore back should be starting in most leagues for Week 7.

Oct 13 8:00pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay continued his recent hot streak on Sunday afternoon as he posted a solid game against the Tennessee Titans. The 2nd-year running back totaled 75 yards on the afternoon, most coming from the running game. He also managed to find the end zone once during the game. Lindsay has now posted over ten points in all but one game this year, in a PPR setting, and is the clear number one fantasy back in Denver. He looks to keep the hot hand next week in a divisional battle against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Oct 12 12:40am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay has started to prove doubters wrong as he is slowly putting together a strong 2019 season. Lindsay continues to outproduce teammate Royce Freeman, although Freeman is constantly stealing reps from Lindsay out of the backfield. The sophomore back Lindsay faces a stout Tennessee Titans Defense but hopes to still put up flex numbers in his Week 6 matchup.

Oct 7 12:20am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay was the focal point of the Broncos offense as they got their first win of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers. Lindsay saw solid production out of the backfield, tallying 114 yards and a touchdown on 15 rushing attempts. The feature back also played a role in the passing game, hauling in all four of his targets for 33 yards. Lindsay had one of his best performances to date and shined relative to teammate Royce Freeman who had similar volume to Lindsay. The 2nd-year back has a tough Week 6 matchup against a strong Tennessee Titans Defense.

Broncos' RB Phillip Lindsay ran for 114 yards on 15 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win in Los Angeles Chargers.

Oct 5 5:40pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay saw his worst game of the season last week against a stout Jacksonville Jaguars run defense. His team played from behind, and thus relied heavily on the passing game which may become a trend this season. The road does not get easier for Lindsay as he lines up against a strong Los Angeles Chargers rush defense who looks to once again make the Broncos offense play from behind in Week 5. To add fuel to the fire for Lindsay, he was significantly out-snapped by teammate Royce Freeman who also received a bulk of the targets out of the backfield last week. Tread lightly with Lindsay moving forward as the situation around him does not lend to high production for the sophomore back.

Sep 29 10:30pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay had a disappointing game on Sunday afternoon, as the entire run game struggled against a stout Jacksonville defensive line. Lindsay was the feature back for the offense for the second week in a row, as he led the team with nine carries for an efficient 53 yards. The sophomore back had little impact in the passing game and failed to find the end zone, accumulating an abysmal stat-line on the day. Lindsay and the team look to rebound in the running game in a divisional matchup against the Chargers next week.

Sep 28 8:00pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay posted a strong performance in Week 3, having the biggest game from a Denver running back this year. Lindsay saw 56% snap count usage, compared to his teammate Royce Freeman's 49% last week. This is one of the bigger gaps between the two in recent weeks, and Lindsay looks to keep up the high volume against a sub-par Jacksonville Jaguars rush defense, as Lindsay is a flex play in PPR this week.

Sep 24 1:00pm ET

Broncos' RB Phillip Lindsay scored 29.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 3 loss in Green Bay. Lindsay ran for 81 yards and caught four passes for 49 yards with two touchdowns.

Sep 22 11:10pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay pleased fantasy owners that gave him an opportunity in Week 3, as he managed to score two touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers. The two touchdowns were the first of the season for Lindsay, who continued to split time with teammate Royce Freeman. Lindsay got more reps than Freeman, as Lindsay had 21 carries for 81 yards compared to Freeman's 15 carries. Lindsay hopes to continue to have higher usage in Week 4 as the Broncos host the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Sep 20 1:50am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay has been reduced to nearly equal snap count share with colleague Royce Freeman. That being said, it truly is a toss-up between which running back will see more production in Week 3 as they will likely receive the same volume once again. The Broncos face off with the Green Bay Packers, who have not had an overly intimidating run defense to start the year in 2019. If you absolutely need to play Lindsay in a deep league flex role, especially in PPR setting, he most likely will suffice with decent production, but don't expect anything crazy.

Sep 16 6:40am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay finished with 36 yards on 13 attempts to go along with four receptions (seven targets) for 30 yards. The 25-year-old continues to split carries with fellow running back Royce Freeman, who took away 11 potential carries while eating up some targets from quarterback Joe Flacco. Until either man demonstrates a stable workload moving forward, they shouldnt be considered a reliable fantasy option. Keep an eye on this situation in the weeks ahead.

Sep 10 2:30am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay was contained by the Oakland Raiders Defense on Monday evening. The sophomore back from the University of Colorado tallied 43 yards rushing on 11 attempts, alongside four receptions for 23 yards. Lindsay looked nimble on the runs he had, but was unable to get past the second level on any occasion. While Lindsay should continue to lead in volume out of the Denver backfield in an offense that looks to find a groove in Week 2, the matchup is unfavorable as the Chicago Bears make their way into Denver. Lindsay is a tough flex play with one of the leagues best defense's coming to town.

Sep 8 11:20am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay may have been hurt by the Oakland Raiders decision to release Antonio Brown on Saturday. Heading into the season, the Broncos coaching staff has been adamant that there would be more of a timeshare between Lindsay and Royce Freeman. Lindsay averaged 5.4 yards per carry last year and figured to get the bulk of the work in the receiving game due to his ability as a pass-catcher. With Brown no longer on the Raiders and the team dealing with plenty of chaos, the Broncos Defense is more likely to keep the Oakland offense in check, giving the Broncos a good chance to build a lead and rotate their backs more. Lindsay still has upside as an RB3 in season-long leagues, but he should be avoided in DFS in what is possibly the most confusing matchup of the entire week.

Aug 25 12:10am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay did not take action on Saturday night in the Broncos preseason game versus the Los Angeles Rams. Lindsay is coming off of preseason week two where he took reps with the second team and the backs behind him looked lackluster. The 2nd-year back seems to have the starting job locked up in Denver going into the regular season as he looks to follow up a stellar rookie year.

Aug 9 12:30pm ET

Denver Broncos Running back Phillip Lindsay made a quick appearance on Thursday night, sharing carries during the first drive of the game versus the Seattle Seahawks. During his reps, Lindsay looked fresh and nimble as he did in 2018, breaking out for a 10-yard run and a 9-yard reception. The 2nd year back gave no reason to concern fantasy owners that were high on him before, and remains a top running back moving into the 2019 season.

Jul 15 11:40pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (wrist) said the training staff will determine the repetitions he gets at training camp, but "in my mind I'm ready. I'm 100 percent," Lindsay said. He should be ready for Week 1, barring a setback this summer. Lindsay was one of the most pleasant surprises in his rookie season after going undrafted. The 24-year-old became Denver's go-to back and finished with 192 attempts for 1.037 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. He also caught 35 passes for 241 yard and another score. His stock is obviously way up going into his second season, but he'll still have to remain effective to hold off a push from Royce Freeman.

Jun 6 4:30pm ET

Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said that running back Phillip Lindsay (wrist) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp in July. He's been limited to individual drills in spring practices as he recovers from a wrist injury he suffered on Christmas Eve. I feel like Im very close, Lindsay said. Fangio said Lindsay likely could have taken part in minicamp, but the Broncos are being extra cautious. The undrafted running back went for over 1,000 yards in his rookie season as one of the biggest surprises in 2018, and he scored 10 total touchdowns. Despite his success in Year 1, Lindsay will still share touches with Royce Freeman, but Lindsay is the one to own and won't come cheap in fantasy drafts.
