Player Notes
Jan 19 8:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman was unable to make much of an impact during the AFC Championship game on Sunday. Hardman finished with one reception for eight yards. His reception was technically a jet sweep play that was a handoff on the second drive of the game. However, he drew a big defensive pass interference call that helped the Chiefs get into scoring position. Hardman is a fantastic special teams player, but won't bring much value to DFS contests for Super Bowl 54.

Jan 12 8:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman was able to make a big impact with his legs during Sunday's Divisional Round victory over the Houston Texans. He caught two of his four targets for 19 yards in the win. Most of his damage was done during kick returns on Sunday. Hardman returned six kicks for 142 yards and help kickstart the Chiefs offense with a huge kick return in the first half. He's not expected to be a huge factor in the passing game for the AFC Championship game versus the Tennessee Titans. Although, Hardman is an elite kick returner, so that's where he's best utilized.

From RotoBaller

Jan 10 5:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman had an epic kick return in the regular season finale, but hasn't been a reliable fantasy option lately. He's been lost in the shuffle with the receivers getting healthy. Hardman saw a total of four targets over the last five weeks of the season. It's highly unlikely that Hardman makes a big impact in Sunday's playoff game versus the Houston Texans. He could be worth using in a small slate as a cheap option, but remains risky since he doesn't get a high volume of targets.

Dec 29 6:00pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman didn't make a huge impact in the receiving game, but did help the team in the Week 17 victory over the Chargers. Hardman hauled in his only target of the game for a 30 yard reception, but that wasn't all he did. He returned a kickoff 104 yards in the third quarter to give the Chiefs the lead. The rookie receiver filled in nicely when the Chiefs were banged up, but has been lost in the depth chart lately. However, he's shown he can make an impact in the game whether it's as a receiver or returner.

From RotoBaller

Dec 20 9:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has six touchdowns this season, but unfortunately has lost fantasy value since the return of Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins. Hardman has seen three total targets over the last three games. He's shown he can contribute in the offense, but Hill, Watkins, and Travis Kelce are priorities over him at the moment. Fantasy owners shouldn't consider Hardman a reliable option for the Week 16 matchup with the Chicago Bears. He's a touchdown dependent option and won't see more than one or two targets most likely. There should be better fantasy options available in just about every format.

From RotoBaller

Dec 15 6:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has shown the ability to make big plays, but has been lost in the shuffle lately. Having both Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins back healthy has basically killed Hardman's fantasy value. He saw two targets and caught one of them for 10 yards in the Week 15 win over the Broncos. Hardman has seen three total targets over the last three games. He belongs on the bench or waiver wire in most formats at this point. He'll be a boom-or-bust WR5 for his matchup with the Bears in Week 16.

From RotoBaller

Dec 14 9:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has seen his targets decrease since Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins returned healthy. He's seen one target over the last two games, but that catch was a 48-yard touchdown. Hardman doesn't see enough targets to warrant owning in most formats. He's a touchdown-dependent receiver that is only worth using in the deepest of leagues. It's unclear how he'll be worked into the game plan, so he's risky for fantasy formats.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 11:00pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman didn't see a high volume of targets during the Week 14 victory, but he did make noise when he was called upon. Hardman hauled in his lone target of the game for a 48 yard touchdown in the Week 14 victory over the Patriots. Hardman has seen his playing time dip significantly since Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins are back to being healthy. Hardman has sixth touchdowns this season, but he doesn't get targeted often anymore. His fantasy value is basically touchdown-dependent and this performance was more of a fluke than anything. Hardman shouldn't be trusted as a reliable fantasy option going forward.

From RotoBaller

Dec 6 7:20pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has seen his playing time decrease ever since Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins returned healthy. Hardman wasn't targeted during the Week 13 victory over the Raiders. He saw one rushing attempt, but didn't do anything in the passing game. The Chiefs have a tough challenge in Week 14 against the Patriots Defense. Hardman has been lost in the shuffle and should be benched in basically all formats.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 9:20pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been able to make noise when he's been called upon this season. However, the Chiefs are healthy and his role on the team has quickly decreased. Hardman wasn't targeted at all during the Week 13 victory over the Oakland Raiders. He ran the ball once for nine yards, but that was all he did in this one. Fantasy owners that are counting on Hardman are going to have a tough time next week. The Chiefs have a matchup with the strong Patriots secondary in Week 14. Hardman should be left on the bench for that one.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 9:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has put up solid numbers for the team when his number has been called upon. However, the Chiefs are healthy at wide receiver and Hardman has dropped to the No. 3 receiver role. He splits time with Demarcus Robinson and will have minimal fantasy value in that spot. Hardman hasn't seen more than four targets in a game since Week 5. Fantasy owners shouldn't bother taking the risk on Hardman. He's a low-end flex option for deep leagues right now. He won't be much of a fantasy option for Week 13 versus the Raiders.

From RotoBaller

Nov 19 1:40am ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman gave a nice jolt to the offense when Tyreek Hill (hamstring) and Sammy Watkins went down earlier in the season. However, they were both healthy the last few weeks. Hardman has seen his usage take a hit because of that, but that might change once again. Hill went down after the first drive during the Week 11 victory over the Chargers. However, Hardman was only targeted four times and caught two of them for 13 yards. The Chiefs head into a bye week in Week 12, so that might give Hill enough time to recover. Otherwise, Hardman could be on the flex radar with Hill sidelined. When Watkins and Hill are healthy, Hardman is only worth using in deep leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 15 6:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has seen one target over the last two weeks as his fantasy value is quickly fading away. Hardman was targeted once for a 63-yard touchdown in Week 10 versus the Titans. Both Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins are back healthy, so that has pushed Hardman into a split role for the No. 3 spot. He'll have a limited role going forward and shouldn't see more than two or three targets against the Chargers this week. Fantasy owners should avoid Hardman unless there is really no one better available.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 9:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman wasn't targeted in the Week 9 victory, but was able to get involved against the Titans the following week. Hardman hauled in his only target for a 63-yard touchdown in the loss to the Titans in Week 10. He's been knocked into a split role with Demarcus Robinson for the No. 3 receiver spot in KC. Having Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins back healthy will hurt Hardman's value. He'll have a limited role going forward and should be treated as a shaky flex option for Week 11 against the Chargers.

From RotoBaller

Nov 9 7:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman stepped up for the team when they needed him, but is now lost in the depth chart. Both Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins are back healthy. Hardman is splitting time as the No. 3 receiver with Demarcus Robinson. His targets will be minimal going forward. Hardman wasn't targeted in the victory over the Vikings in Week 9. Fantasy owners shouldn't bother moving Hardman off the bench for Week 10 against the Titans.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 8:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman found fantasy value earlier in the season when the team was banged up, but has seemingly lost it all. Hardman has seen his targets decrease each week since Week 6. He wasn't targeted at all during the Week 9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. He rushed the ball once for seven yards, but lost a fumble. It was a dud day for fantasy, but it's not likely to get any better. Both Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins are healthy. Hardman splits time at the third receiver spot with Demarcus Robinson. He'll be off the fantasy radar for Week 10 against the Titans.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 6:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been reliable for the team this season, but he'll lose value with Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins back healthy. Hardman caught two passes for 55 yards and a touchdown against the Packers in Week 8. Those were his only two targets of the game because he splits time with Demarcus Robinson. It'll be tough to trust Hardman going forward since he won't see as much playing time as he did earlier in the season. He'll be a desperation flex option for Week 9 against the Vikings.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 1:10am ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has lost a significant amount of his fantasy value with Sammy Watkins returning from injury. Hardman caught both his two targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 loss to the Packers. He split time with Demarcus Robinson, so that is likely going to be the plan going forward. Hardman has been fairly solid for fantasy owners who gave him a chance, but his value will be shaky going forward. He'll likely just be a desperation flex option for Week 9 versus Minnesota.

From RotoBaller

Oct 25 6:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been a reliable option for the team while Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins have been banged up early in the season. However, both players are healthy and active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against Green Bay. Hardman has hauled in at least two receptions in every game since Week 2, but should lose value with Matt Moore at quarterback. Hardman is normally a trustworthy WR3 for fantasy purposes, but will drop to a shaky flex option for Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 12:30am ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman was able to save his fantasy value with a touchdown in the Week 7 victory over the Denver Broncos. He caught two of his three targets for 28 yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) going down did hurt the Chiefs offense a bit in this one. However, losing Mahomes for multiple games could kill Hardman's fantasy value. Veteran Matt Moore didn't look his way often after he replaced Mahomes in the second quarter. Hardman would have some shaky flex value, assuming Mahomes misses Week 8 versus the Packers.
