Player Notes

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills caught three passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, continuing a trend this season where Stills only found the touchdown in games where Houston also had wide receiver Will Fuller playing. Stills will either enter 2020 as the second or third receiver on Houston's roster, and a lot of his fantasy value will depend on Houston having either a healthy Fuller or a new speed threat who can pull the defense away from Stills and help him get easier looks.

Jan 12 6:43pm ET

Houston Astros QB Deshaun Watson completed 31-of-52 passes for 388 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 51-31 AFC Divisional Round playoff game loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, as the team blew a 24-0 lead. RB Carlos Hyde rushed 13 times for 44 yards, while Watson also added 37 yards and a score. WR DeAndre Hopkins ended up with nine grabs for 118 yards on a game-high 14 targets. WR Will Fuller was a nice secondary option with 89 yards on five catches, while WR Kenny Stills posted three receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. TE Darren Fells also had three catches for 22 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. RB Duke Johnson also chipped in with 11 rushing yards and five grabs for 23 yards. CB Lonnie Johnson also had a blocked kick return for touchdown in the first quarter while totaling four solo tackles.

Jan 12 1:53pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) is officially active for the Divisional Round playoff game.

Fantasy Spin: Stills has been targeted 14 times over the last two games but may lose some touches with Will Fuller back in the lineup. Stills can be a possible flex option but can also be benched if better options are available.

From TheHuddle

Jan 12 8:53am ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) is expected to play in the Divisional Round game against the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, Jan. 12, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Stills had been listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited practice participant throughout the week. He could be used as a flex option in playoff fantasy contests, although he could lose some potential targets with WR Will Fuller (groin) also expected to return for this game.

From TheHuddle

Jan 10 4:23pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 10, and is listed as questionable for the Divisional Round playoff game.

Fantasy Spin: Stills appears to have a good chance to play in the game despite the injury but may lose some targets to Will Fuller. He could be a flex option in fantasy leagues but is not a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Jan 9 5:43pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) remained a limited participant in practice Thursday, Jan. 9.

Fantasy Spin: Stills caught four of five targets for 46 yards against the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. The expected return of WR Will Fuller this week would bump Stills to the No. 3 role, making him a risky start in all fantasy formats.

From TheHuddle

Jan 8 6:23pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 8.

Fantasy Spin: Stills was able to play in the Wild Card game despite the injury and finished with 46 yards. He would see a handful of targets if he plays but may only be a possible flex option.

From TheHuddle

Jan 5 11:20am ET

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills caught four of his five targets in Saturday's win over the Buffalo Bills, finishing with 46 receiving yards. It was a solid game from Stills, but by now we have enough evidence to see that Stills isn't really able to replace wide receiver Will Fuller's production for the Texans, capping Stills overall fantasy upside. Next week, he faces a Chiefs Defense that's been playing strong football and Fuller (groin) could return, making Stills someone to avoid in DFS.

From RotoBaller

Jan 4 8:33pm ET

Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson went 20-for-25 for 247 yards and one touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card playoff game. He also rushed for 55 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries during the game. RB Carlos Hyde rushed for 48 yards on 16 carries and caught one pass for five yards and one touchdown. RB Duke Johnson rushed for 38 yards on three carries and caught three passes for 30 yards. WR DeAndre Hopkins caught six passes for 90 yards on eight targets, while WR Kenny Stills caught four passes for 46 yards on five targets.

From TheHuddle

Jan 4 11:30am ET

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills should be on the field for most of Saturday's game against the Bills with Will Fuller (groin) ruled out, but in the regular season Stills actually scored half as many fantasy points per game when Fuller didn't play. Without Fuller to draw Buffalo's defensive backs deeper and open up room underneath, Stills might find it tough to get things going on Saturday. All of his touchdowns this year came in the nine games where he and Fuller both played.

From RotoBaller

Jan 2 5:50pm ET

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills (knee) practiced in full on Thursday and was taken off the final injury report for the wild-card game against the Bills on Saturday. With Will Fuller (groin) a long shot to play, Stills would serve as the No. 2 wideout for Houston against a stingy Buffalo secondary. At $4,600 at DraftKings, Stills could be a nice sleeper at the position for wild-card weekend, although he's typically always a boom-or-bust fantasy commodity as a deep threat for Houston.

From RotoBaller

Jan 2 5:43pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Jan. 2, and was removed from the injury report for the game Saturday, Jan. 4, against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: Stills has been up-and-down all season, topping 100 yards just once and being held below 10 yards on two occasions. Still, he finished the season with four touchdowns and does offer upside as a sneaky flex play. Just beware of his low floor.

From TheHuddle

Jan 2 4:43pm ET

Houston Texans S Jahleel Addae (Achilles), WR Will Fuller (groin), CB Johnathan Joseph (hamstring), CB Bradley Roby (hamstring) and TE Jordan Akins (hamstring) were limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 2, and are listed as questionable for the team's AFC Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills. LB Jake Martin (knee), WR Kenny Stills (knee), OT Laremy Tunsil (ankle), TE Jordan Thomas (illness) and DE J.J. Watt (shoulder) practiced in full Thursday and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Jan 1 5:03pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Fantasy Spin: Stills was held out of the regular season finale but should have a decent chance to play in the Wild Card playoff game. He should see a handful of targets if he plays but probably will not be more than a flex option.

From TheHuddle

Dec 31 4:33pm ET

Houston Texans S Jahleel Addae (Achilles), WR Will Fuller (groin), CB Johnathan Joseph (hamstring), LB Jake Martin (knee), CB Bradley Roby (hamstring), WR Kenny Stills (knee) and OT Laremy Tunsil (ankle) were limited in practice Tuesday, Dec. 31.

From TheHuddle

Dec 29 3:43pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 17 game.

From TheHuddle

Dec 29 3:20pm ET

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills (knee), cornerback Bradley Roby (hamstring) and left tackle Laremy Tunsil (ankle) are inactive for Week 17 against the Titans. If this were a must-win game, they'd most likely all be active. But Houston has decided to rest them with a playoff game upcoming next weekend. The other starters that are active might not play much, if at all, so Houston's offense is one to fade altogether in fantasy. Wideouts Keke Coutee and Deandre Carter will likely see most of the playing time, so they could pay off as DFS sleepers. Roby's absence is good news for Titans receivers A.J. Brown and Corey Davis in their must-win game.

From RotoBaller

Dec 29 3:03pm ET

The Houston Texans have declared DL D.J. Reader, DE Jake Martin, WR Kenny Stills, LB Benardrick McKinney, CB Bradley Roby, OT Laremy Tunsil and WR Will Fuller inactive for Week 17.

From TheHuddle

Dec 27 4:33pm ET

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 27, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Fantasy Spin: Stills appears to have a decent chance to play in Week 17, but fantasy players should check the inactive list. He can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 27 4:13pm ET

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (groin) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. WR DeAndre Hopkins (illness) did not practice Friday, Dec. 27, and is listed as questionable. S Jahleel Addae (Achilles), LB Jake Martin (knee), WR Kenny Stills (knee), OT Laremy Tunsil (ankle), QB Deshaun Watson (back) and CB Bradley Roby (hamstring) were limited in practice Friday and are also listed as questionable. LBs Brennan Scarlett (Achilles) and Benardrick McKinney (concussion) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
