Player Notes
Oct 16 5:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup has been targeted at least seven times in all four of his games this season and could be a main option in the passing game in Week 7 if Cooper is not able to play. He should be a starting option in all leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 12:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup should see an increased role in Week 7 and has a good matchup to exploit. The Cowboys will host the division rival Philadelphia Eagles and their struggling pass defense. Gallup could be playing as the top receiving option as Amari Cooper (quad) is not a sure thing for Sunday. With Gallup likely running as the top target through the air, he'll be a low-end WR1 if Cooper is out.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 9:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup came down with four catches in Week 6, gaining 48 yards. Gallup tied for the team lead with seven targets and could be in for some big games going forward if Amari Cooper (quad) is forced to miss time. The Dallas passing game just wasn't clicking in this one, but Gallup will have WR1 upside if he's leading the passing game next week against the Eagles.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 8:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup ended up with four receptions for 48 yards on seven targets in Week 6 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup and Tavon Austin helped pick up the slack with Amari Cooper exiting the game early due to a quadriceps injury. If he is forced to miss time, Gallup would be the best downfield threat for fantasy owners in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 8:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup had an outstanding Week 5 performance and should be a focal point in the passing game again this week. He can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 6:03pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Randall Cobb (hip, back), OT La'el Collins (knee) and OT Tyron Smith (ankle) were unable to practice all week but are listed as questionable for Week 6 versus the New York Jets. LB Sean Lee (knee) did not practice Friday, Oct. 11, but was removed from the injury report. WR Amari Cooper (ankle, quad) and DL Tyrone Crawford (hip) were limited in practice all week but no longer appears on the injury report. WR Tavon Austin (shin), WR Michael Gallup (knee), OG Zack Martin (back), RB Tony Pollard (knee, ankle), LB Leighton Vander Esch (illness) and DT Antwaun Woods (knee) were full participants in practice Friday and have also been taken off the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 6:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup returned to the lineup last week after missing some games and continues to be a big part in the passing game. He should see plenty of targets this week and can be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 4:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup caught seven of 14 targets for 113 yards and a touchdown in his Week 5 return against the Green Bay Packers. His workload was expanded as the Cowboys played from behind for essentially the whole game, but he's the team's No. 2 receiver and a viable WR3/flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 3:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup could have another big game in Week 6 against the New York Jets. Gallup returned from a knee injury to catch seven passes in Week 5, gaining 113 yards and scoring a touchdown. He was targeted 14 times and should see heavy usage this week as well. With another week to heal from his knee surgery, Gallup could be even stronger in this one. However, with the Cowboys not expected to be playing from behind like they were in Week 5 against the Packers, Gallup might not see quite as many targets as he did then. Still, he's a strong WR2 option with scoring upside.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 1:23am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) had seven receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown in the team's 34-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Oct. 6. Gallup was targeted 14 times.

Fantasy Spin: With Dallas down big midway through the third quarter the team ditched the run game and started airing it out with Gallup and Amari Cooper accounting for 28 of Prescott's 44 targeted passes. Gallup made a nice adjustment to haul in a 50-50 ball over the defender and bulled his way into the end zone for the team's first TD of the day. He looks like a solid WR3 moving forward with some upside in the right matchups.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 8:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup, returning from a two-game absence after knee surgery, had an excellent game in Week 5. He caught seven passes, gaining 113 yards and scoring a touchdown. Gallup's touchdown came at the end of the third quarter and was on a 40-yard pass from Dak Prescott. Gallup was heavily involved throughout and looked healthy, drawing 14 targets. That tied him for the team lead with Amari Cooper. Both will have soft matchups next week against the New York Jets Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 8:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys' WR Michael Gallup had 7 receptions for 113 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's loss against the Packers.

Oct 6 3:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) is officially active for the Week 5 game.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup should have a solid role in the passing game after missing the last few games. He can be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 3:40am ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) is expected to play on Sunday against Green Bay. Gallup hasn't seen the field since the Week 2 encounter with the Washington Redskins but should reclaim his role as the No. 2 option behind Amari Cooper against an adequate Packers Defense. Despite playing in only two games in 2019, Gallup still ranks second on the team with 226 receiving yards and should be starting in a majority of fantasy lineups in Week 5, but not without risk.

From RotoBaller

Oct 5 5:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) is expected to play Sunday, Oct. 6, against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup will return to his role as the Cowboys' No. 2 receiver behind Amari Cooper. He's a low-floor flex play after missing the last two games.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 9:03pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup said he expects to play in Week 5, but fantasy players should check the inactive list to make sure. He was playing well before the injury and could be a No. 3 receiver or flex option if he returns.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 6:03pm ET

Dallas Cowboys OT Tyron Smith (ankle) was unable to practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers. OT La'el Collins (back), DL Tyrone Crawford (hip), WR Michael Gallup (knee) and DT Antwaun Woods (knee) were limited in practice Friday, Oct. 4, and are listed as questionable. LB Sean Lee (knee) did not practice Friday but has been removed from the injury report. WR Amari Cooper (ankle), LB Luke Gifford (ankle), P Chris Jones (back), DE DeMarcus Lawrence (knee, shoulder), OG Zack Martin (back) and S Xavier Woods (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 4:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee), who is questionable for Week 5 against the Packers, said he's good to go for Sunday. Gallup will be returning from a two-week absence and could have his snaps limited. It's also a tough matchup against a much improved Packers secondary, so Gallup is shaping up as a risky, low-upside WR4/flex. Randall Cobb and Devin Smith had been operating alongside Amari Cooper in three-receiver sets with Gallup sidelined.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 2:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) practiced Friday, Oct. 4, for the third straight day as a limited participant and said he's ready for game action. 'Where am I at? Ready to play,' he said Friday.

Fantasy Spin: Don't forget about Gallup -- hopefully an owner in your league has -- after he caught 13 of 15 targets 226 yards in the Cowboys' first two games before his injury. He's a flex/WR2 play if he's active.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 5:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) remained limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 3.

Fantasy Spin: No one has really stepped up in place of Gallup behind No. 1 option Amari Cooper. He'll reclaim his role as the team's No. 2 receiver but should only be regarded as a risky flex option if active for Week 5.
