San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle leads the team in receptions and receiving yards by a wide margin, but he now has some company with the addition of WR Emmanuel Sanders. QB Jimmy Garoppolo believes the addition of Sanders could take some pressure off of Kittle, who opposing defenses have keyed on. 'Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how defenses line up,' Garoppolo said Wednesday, Oct. 23. 'If they change anything, tilt the safeties toward him, whatever it is. Yeah, we'll have to adjust during the game and see how that goes.'

Fantasy Spin: Kittle's production isn't expected to take a hit with the addition of Sanders as the team's No. 1 wideout. In fact, there might be fewer double teams on the star tight end, if Sanders can stay healthy and be the type of receiver he was in Denver.

Oct 23 8:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle has been on the injury for the last few weeks but is in no danger of missing the Week 8 game. He should continue to be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 7:40pm ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle recorded 38 yards on three catches in Week 7 against the Washington Redskins. The Niners managed just 151 pass yards in a wet and sloppy contest, resulting in Kittles lowest production of 2019. His five targets still led the squad. The Niners return home in Week 8 to host the Carolina Panthers where Kittle will be a premium TE1 against a tough pass defense.

Oct 20 4:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle caught three passes for 38 yards against the Washington Redskins in Week 7. He was targeted five times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: The 49ers did not throw much because of the weather, so Kittle was quiet on the stat sheet. He will be more involved next week against the Carolina Panthers and is a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 7:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 18, but is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle is one of the top tight ends in the NFL and is a must-start option no matter the opponent.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 10:20pm ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) was limited in practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Kittle is perfectly fine to play in Week 7 against the Redskins. Against one of the weaker defenses in the NFL in Washington, Kittle is an easy top-three fantasy tight end this weekend, although the Niners probably won't have to throw a ton to win this game easily.

From RotoBaller

Oct 17 7:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle's coming off an 8-for-8 performance with 103 yards in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams. He should be expected to play Sunday in a great matchup against the Washington Redskins.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 3:40pm ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) has a great shot to best his strong performances the past two weeks in Week 7 against the Washington Redskins. After a quiet start to 2019, Kittle has amassed 14 grabs and 173 yards with a score since Week 5 and has reestablished himself as an elite fantasy tight end. Kittle didnt practice Wednesday with a groin issue but he was still able to play in 83 percent of snaps last Sunday with the same ailment. Leading all Niners in all relevant receiving metrics, Kittle boasts both a generous floor with big upside even in a run-heavy offensive scheme.

Oct 16 7:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle probably will return to practice later this week and should be able to play in Week 7. He is one of the best tight ends in the NFL and is a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 9:40pm ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle reeled in all eight of his targets for 103 yards in Week 6s victory against the Los Angeles Rams. Kittle didnt find the end zone but dominated target share in the passing attack once again. His long went for 45 yards. After a so-so start to the season, Kittles now posted two premium TE1 performances. Hell draw an excellent matchup against the Washington Redskins in Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 9:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle caught all eight of his targets for 103 yards in a 20-7 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: One week after his first touchdown of the year, Kittle notched his first 100-yard game of 2019. He has now topped 50 yards in all five games this season, logging at least six grabs four times. He is one of the most reliable fantasy options at any position.

Oct 13 7:30pm ET

49ers' TE George Kittle had 8 receptions for 103 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's win in Los Angeles Rams.

Oct 13 2:53pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) is officially active for the team's Week 6 game.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle is one of the best right ends in the NFL and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 5:10am ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) is expected to play against the Rams. Kittle was a late addition to the injury report after practicing in a limited fashion on Friday. He will test the ailment during pregame warmups, but unless he has a setback, he should be good to go. Keep him rolling in fantasy lineups in all formats.

From RotoBaller

Oct 12 1:33pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) is listed as questionable with a groin injury, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said he expects Kittle to play in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: This a tad concerning as it was a late practice week issue that cropped up Friday, and Kittle owners will need to check the pre-game inactives list for the late Sunday afternoon window and make sure their man isn't included.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 5:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle was added to the injury report Friday, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for his status. He will be a must-start option if he is available to play.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 4:50pm ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) was limited in practice on Friday and is questionable for Week 6 against the Rams. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan ultimately expects Kittle to play in this big divisional matchup. Keep an eye on the inactives for the late slate of games, but Kittle needs to be kept in all lineups as a top-three fantasy tight end if he's active. The 26-year-old has yet to go over 100 yards in a single game this year, but he did have six catches on eight targets for 70 yards and his first touchdown of the season in Week 5 on Monday night.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 12:30pm ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle finally appeased fantasy players last week with his best performance (6/70/1). Off the schneid, Kittles unquestioned TE1 status resumes in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams. While the Niners have been the leagues run-heaviest offense through four games, Kittle is the clear favorite of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Leading the team in all relevant receiving metrics, Kittles floor remains extremely high and the limited aerial opportunities have come at the expense of the wide receivers. The Rams tough rush defense and shaky ability to defend through the air could result in the Niners depending on Garoppolo more than normal on Sunday. That would shape up beautifully for Kittle.

From RotoBaller

Oct 8 1:00am ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle cradled six of eight targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. He also handled a rush for 18 yards. Kittle broke tackles for first downs all evening and finally cashed in with a 22-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. Even with the Niners passing for just 181 yards, Kittle led the team in all receiving metrics and had his best game of the year. Kittles underlying usage rates have been strong all season so it was just a matter of time before the stats caught up. Hes locked in as a weekly TE1 and gets the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6.

From RotoBaller

Oct 8 12:33am ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle posted six grabs for 70 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns on Monday, Oct. 7.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle remains a No. 1 fantasy option at his position despite the fact this touchdown was his first of 2019. He'll look to keep up his scoring ways on the road in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.
