Player Notes
Dec 11 11:50am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz will likely be the focus of the Eagles offense in Week 15 against Washington. With a wide receiver crew made up of unproven rookies and guys no one has ever heard of, the Eagles will likely rely on their running backs and tight ends in the passing game. Ertz got off to somewhat of a slow start this season, but he's turned back into his elite TE1-self lately, including his two touchdowns in Week 14. He's one of the top three options at the position for Week 15.

From RotoBaller

Dec 10 1:13am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz ended up with nine receptions for 91 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets in Week 14 against the New York Giants, including the game-winning score in overtime.

Fantasy Spin: Ertz was in line for a huge performance with the team using just three healthy wideouts, and Alshon Jeffery joining the walking wounded in the first half. Fantasy owners haven't seen Ertz at his best for the entire season, but he is making up for lost time in recent games. He remains a legit TE1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 15 in Washington.

From TheHuddle

Dec 10 12:00am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz scored two huge touchdowns in Week 14, including a walk-off score in overtime. Ertz ended up with nine catches on 13 targets for a total of 91 yards. His first score came on a two-yard strike in the middle of the fourth quarter, and his second was another two-yard pass, this one in overtime. Ertz was essentially the entire passing game in this one, as Greg Ward and rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside were the only available wide receivers after Alshon Jeffery was forced to leave with a foot injury. With a strong matchup against Washington coming up next week, Ertz should be a strong TE1 once again.

From RotoBaller

Dec 3 4:20pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz had a rough game in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins, a game he himself called the worst of his career. Ertz ended up with three catches for 24 scoreless yards, but dropped two potential touchdown passes in the loss. Ertz has another good matchup against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, and should battle with wide receiver Alshon Jeffery for the most targets on the team. He's a high-end TE1 despite the rough showing last week.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 9:33pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) finished with three catches on six targets for 24 yards in a 37-31 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Ertz came into the game nursing a hamstring injury, which could have led to the pedestrian stat line. Entering Week 13, he had recorded at least nine catches for more than 90 yards in three straight games, so he should continue to be treated as an elite TE1 despite the disappointing outing.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 8:50pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz had three catches for 24 yards during the loss to Miami on Sunday. Ertz was able to play despite battling a bum hamstring coming into this one but still struggled to get involved after combining for 36 targets over the last three games. With over a week until the Eagles meet the Giants next Monday night, the veteran will hopefully be 100 percent and ready to go. Keep an eye on his status heading into Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 11:53am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) is active for Week 13's game against the Miami Dolphins.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 11:50am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring) is active for Sunday's meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Playing against this Dolphins Defense, Ertz is a must-start fantasy option, even with the potential downside associated with hamstring injuries. You've got to take the risk, because the upside against Miami is just too great to not play Ertz. Dallas Goedert will see a slightly reduced role because of Ertz playing, but should still be a solid streaming option at the position as well.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 9:23am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) appears likely to play in Week 13's game against the Miami Dolphins, despite the recent promotion of TE Joshua Perkins from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Fantasy Spin: Ertz was listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in just one of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. He is a must-start option in fantasy leagues if he is declared active this afternoon.

From TheHuddle

Nov 30 1:50pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles promoted tight end Josh Perkins from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. They also activated cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc from Injured Reserve and waived defensive tackle Albert Huggins. Perkins' promotion could be a sign that tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring), who is questionable for Week 13 against the Dolphins, won't play on Sunday. Ertz is a top-three tight end if active, but his owners must prepare for the possibility that he won't play. Dallas Goedert would be a strong TE1 option if Ertz sits out. Perkins caught five passes for 67 yards in nine games for Philly in 2018, but he won't be fantasy relevant if Ertz is inactive.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 4:43pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Ertz probably will be a game-time decision this week, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He has been playing very well over the last few games and is a must-start option if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 3:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Nov. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins. RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) remained a limited participant in practice all week and is also listed as questionable. DE Vinny Curry (non-injury), WR Nelson Agholor (knee), WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle), OT Jason Peters (knee), OG Brandon Brooks (illness), OT Lane Johnson (concussion) and QB Carson Wentz (hand) fully participated in practice Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 12:40pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring) will practice on Friday, and there is optimism about his status for Week 13 against the Dolphins. Ertz may still be questionable on the final injury report, but it looks like he has a good chance to suit up in an excellent matchup against Miami. If Ertz is active, he's a must-start as an elite TE1. If he can't get the clearance, Dallas Goedert would then become a very strong TE1 play in his absence.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 11:03am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) will run and do some work in practice Friday, Nov. 29.

Fantasy Spin: It doesn't sound like he'll be a full participant, and it's increasingly likely he could be limited this weekend. Dallas Goedert is a low-end TE1 on his own merits, but he just gained some upside against the Miami Dolphins.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 5:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 28.

Fantasy Spin: Ertz may be a game-time decision for the Week 13 game, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation. Ertz should be a starting option in all leagues, but players will need other options available in case Ertz is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 4:20pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring) wasn't listed as practicing for Thursday's estimated practice report. It's just an estimation, but Ertz also didn't practice on Wednesday, so his status for Week 13 against the Dolphins is in doubt. It'll comfort his owners if he's able to practice on Friday, and he'd be a top-two fantasy tight end if he's able to suit up. Ertz has been targeted heavily in recent weeks with both Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor hurting, and he should be able to put up big numbers against Miami if he can go. If he can't, Dallas Goedert would be a strong TE1 replacement.

From RotoBaller

Nov 28 3:33pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Nov. 28. WR Nelson Agholor (knee), RB Jordan Howard (shoulder), WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle) and OT Jason Peters (knee) were limited. OG Brandon Brooks (illness), OT Lane Johnson (concussion), QB Carson Wentz (hand) and DE Vinny Curry (non-injury) practiced in full.

From TheHuddle

Nov 27 8:00pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring), who didn't practice on Wednesday, initially suffered his injury last week and played through it in the Week 12 loss to the Seahawks. Ertz should be able to play again this weekend against the Dolphins, but we'd like to at least see him return to practice later this week. The 29-year-old showed no signs of being slowed by his hammy against Seattle, catching a season-high 12 passes (14 targets) for 91 yards and a touchdown. If he's active against Miami, he'll be a top-two fantasy tight end. Dallas Goedert would become a high-end tight end if Ertz is unable to play.

From RotoBaller

Nov 27 5:43pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players should check on Ertz's status later in the week to see if he is in any danger of missing the Week 13 game. He has been playing very well over the last three weeks and is a must-start option in all leagues if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Nov 27 5:10pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. His status is now worth watching as the week unfolds. Ertz had a season-high 12 receptions for 91 yards and his third touchdown of the season in the Week 12 loss to the Seahawks. With both Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor banged up in recent weeks, the Eagles passing game has leaned heavily on Ertz. He's been targeted a whopping 36 times the last three games and has at least 91 yards or a touchdown the last three games. Jeffery and Agholor are both on track to return this Sunday against the Dolphins, but Ertz will be a top-three tight end play if he's active. Dallas Goedert would be a strong TE1 option if Ertz sits out.
