Oct 13 9:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson posted five receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson certainly was glad to see Sam Darnold back under center for the first time since Week 1. He isn't a bad free-agent fantasy pick-up if available, as he has WR4 potential as long as Darnold can stay on the field. The Jets host the Patriots in Week 7 on Monday Night Football.

Oct 13 8:20pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught five passes for 125 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Cowboys Sunday. It was a badly needed breakout game for Anderson who had only 131 yards total in four games before his huge game today. Anderson made the play of the game hauling in a 92-yard touchdown on the first play of a drive after the Jets stopped Dallas on fourth-and-two deep in the red zone. The 92-yard catch and run was the second-longest touchdown in Jets franchise history and put Anderson's boom-or-bust nature in fantasy on full display. Anderson's big-play ability puts him in the WR3 conversation most weeks, but he'll face another tough matchup next week against an elite Patriots Defense.

Oct 13 7:30pm ET

New York Jets' WR Robby Anderson had 5 receptions for 125 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's win against the Cowboys.

Oct 11 11:10pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has disappointed fantasy owners so far this season. He is yet to score a touchdown and has 23 yards of less in three of four games. Having starting QB Sam Darnold back on Sunday should help Anderson some, but the fourth-year receiver still faces a brutal test this week. The Cowboys boast an elite secondary that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers so it could be another tough game for Anderson. He's still worth owning in most leagues, but Anderson is best left on the bench this week.

Oct 11 6:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson should benefit with Sam Darnold back in the lineup since they have shown a good connection in the past. He could be a flex option in some leagues despite the matchup.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 4:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson has struggled over the last few games but should receive a boost with Sam Darnold back in the starting role. He has a chance to be a flex option in some fantasy leagues but is not a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 4:13pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson caught just one of three targets for 16 yards last week. His fantasy stock will see a significant boost with QB Sam Darnold back under center, and he should be able to fulfill his preseason billing as a WR3.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 7:50pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson had another quiet afternoon Sunday catching just one of three targets for 16 yards. There was hope for Anderson coming into the game against an Eagles Defense that allowed the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, but the Jets offense could get nothing going with third-string QB Luke Falk starting. Anderson has now totaled less than 25 yards in three of four games and is yet to find the end zone. Anderson has massive upside when getting the ball, but as long as Falk is starting for the Jets, Anderson should be on the bench in fantasy. He'll have another tough matchup next week against the Cowboys where he'll be a boom-or-bust flex option at best, and only if Sam Darnold (mono) is starting at QB.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 7:03pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught one pass for 16 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5. He was targeted three times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson should be more involved in the passing game when Sam Darnold returns but has not been a big factor over the last few games. He will be a risky option next week because of the matchup and the uncertain quarterback situation.

From TheHuddle

Oct 5 10:50am ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has struggled to start the season, but faces a good matchup Sunday in Philadelphia. Anderson has had four catches or less in all three of his games this year and had 23 yards or less twice. Part of that can be blamed on the Jets QB situation which got more interesting this week when starter Sam Darnold (mono) returned to practice, only to not be cleared by team doctors. That means Anderson will catch passes from Luke Falk again who has had a hard time throwing the ball downfield, something Anderson needs in order to show his big-play ability. Despite the difficult offensive situation, the Eagles allow the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers putting Anderson in the boom-or-bust WR3 conversation in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 5:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught three passes for 11 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He was targeted five times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson has had to play with three quarterbacks over the last three games, so his stats have been inconsistent during that span. He likely will be more consistent once Sam Darnold returns and could be at least a flex option.

From TheHuddle

Sep 22 5:00pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson made three catches for 11 yards in a loss to the Patriots Sunday. Anderson was targeted five times but could get nothing done as the Jets had just 105 yards of total offense with third-string QB Luke Falk making his first career start. Of all the Jets offensive weapons, Anderson has suffered the most with starting QB Sam Darnold (mono) out of action as Anderson has always been a receiver reliant on big plays and the Jets simply can't throw the ball downfield given their current QB situation. The Jets have a bye in Week 4 but will face another tough matchup in Week 5 at Philadelphia. If Darnold plays, Anderson is a boom-or-bust WR3 but he should be avoided as long as Darnold is out.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 9:40am ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson is in line for a tough matchup Sunday in New England against the Patriots. Anderson has been disappointing through two weeks with only seven catches for 104 yards and no touchdowns. Now he'll have to match up against a Patriots Defense that has owned Anderson in his career. In six career games vs New England, Anderson has 12 catches on 33 targets for 158 yards and no touchdowns. In addition to averaging only 26 yards per game against New England, Anderson will see plenty of Patriots All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore and catch passes from third-string QB Luke Falk. Wherever possible, fantasy owners should look to sit Anderson this week.

From RotoBaller

Sep 17 12:23am ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson had four grabs for 81 yards on six targets in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns on Monday, Sept. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson had a couple of big-play opportunities despite the fact he had to work with third-string QB Luke Falk for a majority of the game. Treat him more as a low-end WR4 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 3 at New England.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 11:50pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught four passes for 81 yards on six targets Monday night against the Browns. Overall it was a good game for Anderson given the Jets started the game with backup QB Trevor Siemian and finished it with third-stringer Luke Falk running the offense. Anderson has always been a boom-or-bust big-play receiver and is likely to bust more often than not given the Jets current QB nightmare. He will be in the WR3 mix after the Jets Week 4 bye, when Sam Darnold should be back under center, but fantasy owners should leave Anderson on the bench next week in a brutal matchup at New England.

From RotoBaller

Sep 14 4:53pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (calf) fully participated in practice Saturday, Sept. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson will be working with a new quarterback in Week 2 with Sam Darnold sidelined, so his fantasy value probably will take a hit. He can still be a flex option in some leagues but is not a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Sep 12 5:53pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (calf) was listed as a full participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 12.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson finished with an unimpressive three receptions on seven targets for just 23 yards in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. He should be kept on rosters as a WR3/4.

From TheHuddle

Sep 12 12:20pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson's fantasy value will take a hit with quarterback Sam Darnold (illness) potentially out multiple weeks with mononucleosis. Quarterback Trevor Siemian will step in under center, and he's a downgrade from Darnold's throwing arm. Siemian is a "dink-and-dunk" quarterback, which means he's more apt to throwing short passes in order to move the chains. Anderson had three catches for 23 yards on seven targets in Week 1. His Week 2 matchup is also suspect. The Cleveland Browns allowed the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers in Week 1. Although, that is a little misleading because the Browns lost 43-13, the Browns' secondary is a talented group. If you also figure in that Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (shoulder) is also iffy for the game, the Jets could have a miserable time trying to move the ball. Anderson is still worth consideration as a flex in PPR this week, but there are options with more upside.

From RotoBaller

Sep 8 10:20pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson had three catches for 23 yards in a Week 1 loss to the Bills. Cornerback Tre'Davious White and the rest of the Bills secondary that ranked first in the NFL last season did a great job keeping Anderson out of the game as the Jets offense stalled all afternoon. Quarterback Sam Darnold couldn't get anything going downfield and there was consistent pressure in his face. Despite the quiet game, it's good for fantasy owners to see Anderson healthy as he'd been dealing with a calf injury in the week leading up to the game. Anderson will have his big games, but it'll be hard for fantasy owners to predict when. Anderson is a boom or bust WR3 in a matchup with the Browns next Monday.

From RotoBaller

Sep 8 6:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught three passes for 23 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. He was targeted seven times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson and Sam Darnold tried to connect on a few deep passes but were not successful. He should be able to post better numbers next week against the Cleveland Browns and could be at least a flex option in leagues.
