Lions' RB Jahmyr Gibbs scored an impressive 37.00 fantasy points in Thursday's Week 14 win against the Cowboys. Gibbs ran for 43 yards and caught seven passes for 77 yards with three touchdowns. It's the 5th time this season Gibbs scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Dynasty | Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 43 rushing yards, seven catches, 77 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a win against Dallas. Dynasty Analysis: Gibbs certainly made the most of his 19 touches. One of the most efficient and deadly players this season, he just continues to put up monster performances. While his fantasy day could have actually been even better with more yards, his receiving prowess gives him an extraordinary floor. He'll be a top option for the playoffs every week and is a near untouchable dynasty asset.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 12 carries for 43 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns during Thursday's Week 14 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He also caught all seven of his targets for an additional 77 receiving yards. The 24-year-old's explosive season continues, as he has now recorded three-touchdown performances in three of the last five weeks. He's a top-three running back in PPR scoring this year with a whopping 58 catches so far. He also has 16 touchdowns and over 1,500 scrimmage yards. David Montgomery remains a factor in Detroit, but clearly, this backfield belongs to Gibbs. He should continue to be viewed as a high-end RB1 going forward, even in non-PPR leagues. He'll look to build on his success in 10 days against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has been special so far this season, recording 1,416 scrimmage yards and 13 touchdowns on 226 touches across 12 games. Since Lions head coach Dan Campbell took over play-calling duties in Week 10, Gibbs is averaging 21 touches per game. With star Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) officially questionable to play in Week 14 due to an ankle injury, Gibbs could be in for a heavy workload as both a rusher and receiver against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night. For the season, the Dallas defense ranks 27th in the NFL in yards per carry allowed (4.7). However, the Cowboys have been better of late, allowing opponents to an average of 69 rushing yards per game over the last three weeks. Still, the Lions appear likely to force-feed Gibbs touches against Dallas. He profiles as a must-start fantasy running back in Week 14.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs did not have his most efficient day in his team's 31-24 Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers, recording 86 scrimmage yards and failing to find the end zone on 23 touches. However, Gibbs has now averaged 24.5 touches per game over the last two weeks. With Detroit likely to be without both wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) and tight end Sam LaPorta (back) for Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys and possibly longer, the Lions seem likely to continue force-feeding Gibbs the ball. Across 12 games this season, the 23-year-old has recorded 1,416 scrimmage yards and 13 touchdowns on 226 touches and now profiles as by far the most reliable weapon on his team's offense. As long as Gibbs can stay healthy, he profiles as a must-start fantasy running back.

The Detroit Lions are expected to sign star running back Jahmyr Gibbs to a contract extension this offseason. Gibbs is currently on the four-year rookie deal he signed in 2023 and could be the next Lion to sign a massive extension. The Lions are looking to keep their core together, as they recently extended Amon-Ra St. Brown, Aidan Hutchinson, Jameson Williams, and Jared Goff. Gibbs has been terrific for the Lions and fantasy managers this season. The 23-year-old has rushed for 951 yards on 155 rushing attempts and 10 touchdowns while catching 48 passes for 379 yards and three scores over 11 games. Gibbs has been one of the best running backs in football in an explosive Lions offense and is a surefire first-round pick heading into 2026 fantasy football drafts.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs carried his team to an overtime victory over the New York Giants in Week 12, recording 264 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 26 touches. Gibbs has been highly productive as both a rusher and receiver since Lions head coach Dan Campbell took over as the team's play-caller in Week 10, amassing 582 scrimmage yards and six touchdowns on 42 carries and 19 catches over his last three games. The 23-year-old's job will get more difficult in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers. Through 12 weeks, Green Bay is allowing an average of 3.9 yards per carry and has given up just eight rushing touchdowns. Gibbs had one of the least efficient games of his career against the Packers in Week 1 of the 2025 season, totaling 19 rushing yards on nine carries and 31 receiving yards on 10 receptions. Detroit will also be missing two starters on the interior of its offensive line in Week 13. Still, Gibbs could see heavy work as a receiver and remains a high-upside, must-start fantasy running back against Green Bay.

Dynasty | Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 219 rushing yards, 11 catches, 45 receiving yards, and three total touchdowns in a win over the Giants. Dynasty Analysis: There are few running backs in the league who rip off runs of 15 yards on a weekly basis. Gibbs AVERAGED as much this week as his 14.6 yards per carry average, well, carried him to one of the biggest fantasy football performances in recent memory. A one-man wrecking crew of a runner, Gibbs remains a top dynasty asset and at least gained some ground on Jonathan Taylor to be this year's MVP.
Lions' RB Jahmyr Gibbs ran for a staggering 219 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns for a trememdous 14.6 yards per carry in Sunday's win against the Giants.

He also caught 11 of 12 targets for an additional 45 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. The 23-year-old enjoyed one of the most memorable games of his young career, amassing more than 55 fantasy points in PPR leagues and helping Detroit secure an overtime victory. The highlights of Gibbs' games were a 49-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter and a 69-yard rushing touchdown in overtime. He will remain a spectacular high-end RB1 option against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day in Week 13.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs was one of his team's lone bright spots in their 16-9 Week 11 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Gibbs rushed for just 39 yards on 12 carries against the Eagles, but he hauled in five receptions for 107 yards on eight targets. The 23-year-old has now recorded at least 140 scrimmage yards in three out of his last four games and has already topped 1,000 scrimmage yards for the season. On paper, Gibbs has a good chance to extend his hot streak in Week 12 against the New York Giants. New York is allowing the most yards per carry (5.5) to opposing running backs in the NFL so far this season. There's also reason to believe that Gibbs will continue to feature heavily in Detroit's passing game. In the two games since Lions head coach Dan Campbell has taken over as the team's play-caller, Gibbs has been targeted 12 times. He profiles as a must-start fantasy running back in Week 12 against New York.
