Player Notes
Dec 8 9:23pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught five of his seven targets for 34 yards in a 38-24 win over the Houston Texans in Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Although he didn't pile up a bunch of yards, Sutton led the team in receptions and targets. A Week 15 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs should have him back in the WR2 conversation.

From TheHuddle

Dec 6 8:43pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 6, but is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton is coming off a two-touchdown performance last week and has been targeted at least five times in every game this season. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Dec 6 6:03pm ET

Denver Broncos OG Ronald Leary (concussion) was unable to practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 14 versus the Houston Texans. LB Malik Reed (ankle, shoulder) and LB Von Miller (knee) were limited in practice Friday, Dec. 6, and are listed as questionable. OT Ja'Wuan James (knee) practiced in full all week but is also listed as questionable. S Will Parks (hand), LB Jeremiah Attaochu (leg), RB Royce Freeman (ribs), LB Alexander Johnson (knee), OG Connor McGovern (back), NT Shelby Harris (ankle), WR Tim Patrick (shoulder), DL Mike Purcell (knee) and WR Courtland Sutton (hamstring) practiced fully Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 2:03am ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton had four receptions, 74 yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton's 74 receiving yards were more than the rest of the team combined (60), underscoring just how fragile his standing could be from one week to the next with Drew Lock under center. Sutton is a rising playmaker, though, and certainly deserves a starting spot in most fantasy leagues despite the high potential for volatility.

From TheHuddle

Nov 30 10:23pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton will continue to be used in the run game moving forward, according to offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello. 'It will create things in the run game, it'll create things for other players and ultimately it will be a big, big part of our future and what we do here as an organization,' Scangarello said.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has been Denver's steadiest and most productive receiver by a wide margin this year, and he has carried the ball three times in the last three games. It sounds like his role is only going to expand moving forward, making him a WR3 with upside the rest of the way.

From TheHuddle

Nov 25 2:20pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had his worst game of the season on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, as he and quarterback Brandon Allen were not on the same page during the game. Sutton's high target share did not dip, as he received eight balls thrown his way, but he was only able to haul in one of those throws for 27 yards. A down week from Sutton was no surprise, as the Bills host a strong defensive unit. The schedule lightens up in the coming weeks, which should allow for Sutton to bounce back to normal production numbers.

Nov 24 4:43pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught one pass for 27 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. He was targeted eight times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton was not able to find a good connection with Brandon Allen this week but was targeted at least eight times for the fifth time in six games. He should still be considered at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues next week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 18 2:00pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton made his presence known all over the field in the Broncos loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon. The 2nd-year receiver caught five passes, ran the ball twice, and completed one pass. He only managed 10 yards rushing, but the pass was an impressive 38-yard completion to teammate Tim Patrick. The most important part though was his five catches for 113 on nine targets. Sutton has continued to put up impressive numbers despite having a shaky quarterback situation and looks to keep it rolling in Week 12 with a tough matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 5:43pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton posted five grabs for 113 yards on nine targets in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings and he also completed a 38-yard pass to Tim Patrick while running twice for 10 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton did a good job in this one and he could be a WR2 in most fantasy leagues if we could duplicate this kind of production on a regular basis. The SMU product will look to stay hot in Buffalo in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 3:50pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton snagged a touchdown catch from new quarterback Brandon Allen in the team's win Sunday. Sutton continued a solid season of production thus far in Week 9, tallying five catches for 56 yards alongside his touchdown against the Browns. Teammate Brandon Allen getting his first start didn't seem to lead to a downtick in production for Sutton, as a matter of fact, Allen leaned on Sutton, who received a team-high eight targets on the afternoon. Sutton and the Broncos are on a bye next week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 3:50pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton faces another change in Week 9, as he has a new quarterback at the helm passing him balls. Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco is out due to injury and Brandon Allen is in for his first NFL start. There is no reason to panic in regard to Sutton's production, as Flacco was no shining talent and Allen should service to get the ball to Sutton and let him work from there. Production may start slow for the 2nd-year receiver, as the game plan may be more conservative to start while Allen looks to get acquainted in the offense, but Sutton should still but up solid WR2 numbers at a minimum.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 9:23pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught three of his six targets for a team-high 72 yards in a 15-13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton remained the go-to weapon in the Denver passing attack, and he has now topped 70 receiving yards in six of his eight games. The run-first philosophy of the Broncos limits his upside, but Sutton is still a solid WR3.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 9:00pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton tallied 72 yards in a stagnant offensive game for the Denver Broncos. It is nice for owners to see that even when the Broncos are struggling against a stout defense, as they did against the Colts this afternoon, Sutton can still manage to scrap up production. Sutton's 72 yards on three catches was the strongest receiving performance on the team, as he will look to have a big game next week against a weak Cleveland Browns Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 6:50pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is now the clear number one target for the Denver Broncos with Emmanuel Sanders going to the San Francisco 49ers via trade. Not only is Sutton the clear number one, but he is also the only established piece in the Broncos passing game at the moment. This is a positive for Sutton's stock, but the threat does loom that teams can shadow the 2nd-year receiver heavily if no other Bronco manages to pose a threat to the opponent's secondary. That will be an interesting development to follow, but for Week 8 a mid-tier Colts secondary should allow for Sutton to put up WR2 numbers.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 12:40pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton played well in the loss to Kansas City on Thursday, finishing the night with 87 yards on six receptions. With the Chiefs Defense smothering Joe Flacco with eight sacks in this one while limiting backfield mates Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman for a combined 71 yards, Sutton played good enough considering how bad things would turn out. He continues to lead the way in the receiving department for the Broncos and will likely continue to get his looks in Week 8 against the Colts. He remains a must-start in all formats for the most part.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 12:03am ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught six of his eight targets for 87 yards in a 30-6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has been the go-to target for the Broncos all year, and he has topped 60 yards in six of the seven games and topped 80 yards four times. Even with Joe Flacco under center, Sutton can be used as a WR3.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 6:00pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has been the biggest breakout on the Broncos roster this year, as he is continuing to solidify his role as the team's top receiver as Emmanuel Sanders starts to age. Sutton has been a consistent option at a WR2/Flex spot for owners the past few weeks, and owners can expect much of the same in Week 7. Sutton is bound to get his share of targets and should turn that into solid production against a secondary that has been torched by the Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, and Jacksonville Jaguars this year.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 12:50am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton continues to see high volume in the Broncos offensive scheme and is becoming the clear number one receiver in the team's system. Life, Death, and Courtland Sutton receiving over seven targets, this narrative stayed true in Week 6 as Sutton had eight balls thrown his way and hauled four in for 76 yards receiving. The young buck hopes to continue his successes next week against the Kansas City Chiefs in a divisional matchup on Thursday night.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 10:23pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught four of his eight targets for 76 yards in a 16-0 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has now topped 60 receiving yards in five of the six games this year, and he has established himself as the No. 1 option in the Denver passing attack. He's a quality WR3 with WR2 upside.

From TheHuddle

Oct 12 2:00am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is looking to stay hot in a Week 6 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. The 2nd year receiver has still yet to receive under seven targets in a game and is consistently the leading weapon for the Broncos passing game. He faces a decent challenge in Week 6 against the Titans but should be able to put up solid numbers with the task at hand.
