Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has gone without a rushing touchdown in four of his last five games after Monday's 10-7 victory over the Packers. For a low-scoring game, however, Barkley did manage a decent fantasy outing with three catches for 41 yards and matched his season-high carry count with 22. On Sunday, he is faced with a Lions defense that allows the second-least amount of fantasy points to RBs this season, giving up just seven scores on the ground through nine games. In a game where the Eagles may need to play catch-up against a powerful Detroit offense, Barkley could also be in for less attempts if Philly has to rely on the passing game. While it's an uphill battle, he is the type of player that can dominate a game in any given week. Start Barkley as a solid RB1, but temper expectations ever so slightly.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley recorded 22 carries for 60 yards and added three receptions (three targets) for 41 yards in Monday night's 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers. It was a struggle for Barkley and the Philadelphia offense all night, as he averaged just 2.7 yards per carry, and even his 41 receiving yards came entirely on one reception. It was a disappointing performance for the 28-year-old after having his best game of the season before the bye in Week 8 against the Giants, totaling 174 yards and two touchdowns. He did tweak his groin in that game, but was cleared from the injury report earlier this week. Barkley has already posted five games with fewer than four yards per carry this season after having just two such games all of last season. His involvement as a receiver this season has at least helped offset the lack of breakaway runs, with 27 receptions through nine games compared to 33 in 16 games last year. Barkley will look to bounce back in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley carried the ball 22 times for 60 yards versus the Green Bay Packers in Week 10. Barkley also caught three passes for 41 yards.
Fantasy Spin: It was tough sledding for Barkley on Monday night, averaging 2.7 yards per carry. He made one big play, a 41-yard catch and run, that allowed him to break the 100-yard mark, but finishing with fewer than 3.0 yards per carry for the fourth time this season wasn't what fantasy owners were hoping for after he racked up 150 rushing yards before the bye. His heavy usage and upside are enough for him to remain locked into your lineup, but it feels dubious at this point that he'll push toward elite RB1 status this season.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) is off the final injury report and is set to play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Barkley practiced in full every day this week after tweaking his groin during the Eagles' Week 8 win over the New York Giants, but had the bye week to recover and won't miss any time to the injury. Fantasy managers can exhale with the positive news regarding the Eagles' star running back, who is coming off easily his best performance of the season, rushing for 150 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and adding four catches (five targets) for 24 yards as a receiver. Barkley will look to build on the strong performance in Week 10 against a Green Bay Packers defense that has struggled to defend the run since their Week 5 bye, ranking 25th in rushing success rate. Barkley is a rock-solid RB1 for Monday Night Football.

Philadelphia Eagles C Cameron Jurgens (knee) did not participate in practice Saturday, Nov. 8, and has been ruled out for Week 10. CB Jakorian Bennett (pectoral), OG Willie Lampkin (ankle, knee) and LB Nolan Smith (triceps) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. RB Saquon Barkley (groin), WR A.J. Brown (hamstring), TE Kylen Granson (abdomen), CB Adoree' Jackson (concussion) and DT Moro Ojomo (concussion) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) fully participated in practice Saturday, Nov. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Fantasy Spin: Barkley has not been as productive as he was last season but is coming off his best game of the season. He will see plenty of touches against the Green Bay Packers and will be a No. 1 running back in most leagues.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) was a full participant at practice on Friday and seems fully ready for Monday's game against the Packers. Before exiting in the second half of his last outing, Barkley outran the Giants defense for a 65-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage and finished with 174 total yards. This week, he'll face the fifth-best run defense in the league, as Green Bay lets up an average of 89.4 yards per game on the ground. Barkley has met with two other top-10 run defenses so far this year-the Broncos and the Buccaneers-and averaged 36.5 yards per game in those contests. While the inability to get going in those matchups combined with the recent injury are daunting, Philly's star back is coming off of his best performance of the season and an extra week of rest. Still consider Barkley a reliable RB1 for Week 10.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 7.
Fantasy Spin: Barkley appears to have recovered from the injury he suffered in Week 8 and should receive his normal workload against the Green Bay Packers. He continues to be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles C Cameron Jurgens (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 6. CB Adoree' Jackson (concussion) and DT Moro Ojomo (concussion) were limited during practice. RB Saquon Barkley (groin), CB Jakorian Bennett (pectoral), WR A.J. Brown (hamstring), OG Willie Lampkin (ankle, knee) and LB Nolan Smith (triceps) fully participated in practice.
From TheHuddle
Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) was listed as a full participant in Thursday's practice. Barkley was forced to leave the Week 8 win against the New York Giants late in the third quarter, but not before galloping for 150 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries while adding four catches for 24 yards and another trip to paydirt. The Eagles' bye in Week 9 definitely came at a good time, and it appears that Barkley should be ready to roll by Monday night for the team's Week 10 contest against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Barkley's performance in Week 8 was his first 100-yard rushing game of the year, and fantasy managers will be hoping he can keep that momentum after having a week off. Overall, Barkley has averaged only 4.1 yards per carry after averaging 5.8 yards per tote in 2024 on his way to Offensive Player of the Year honors.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 6.
Fantasy Spin: Barkley suffered the injury in Week 8 but had the bye week to recover and should be ready for his normal workload. He is not have the same season he did in 2024 but is still a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) is taking part in the team's first practice of the week coming off their bye on Thursday, according to Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia. Barkley was forced to leave the team's Week 8 win over the New York Giants in the third quarter due to a groin injury, but after the game, the 28-year-old was confident that he'd be ready to roll following the Week 9 bye. The fact that Barkley is practicing on Thursday is a good sign that he'll be ready to play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers in Week 10, but we'll continue to monitor his status closely in the coming days. Barkley hasn't been nearly as good this year as he was in his first year in Philly in 2024, but he remains a must-start in all fantasy lineups when he's healthy. He had 18 touches for 174 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in Week 8 before suffering his groin injury.

Eagles' RB Saquon Barkley scored an impressive 33.40 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 8 win against the Giants. Barkley ran for 150 yards and caught four passes for 24 yards with two touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Barkley scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) likely could have returned to the game if it were closer, according to sources. The injury isn't believed to be serious.
Fantasy Spin: The Eagles' bye comes at the perfect time in Week 9. Expect him to be a must-start in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers.
From TheHuddle
Dynasty | Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had 150 rushing yards, four catches, 24 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in a win against the Giants. Dynasty Analysis: Barkley finally broke out against his former team, highlighted by a 65-yard touchdown on his first carry. The day was great (and much needed) but he was also forced from the game with a groin injury. The Eagles are on a much-needed bye next week, so we'll have to monitor the situation as we move forward. Regardless, this was a good step in the right direction for Barkley, who has been stuck in mud for most of the year. His ADP slide will stop for at least a couple of weeks.
