Welcome to the 2017 NOFL.  Adam Gladfelter is acting Commissioner and Scott Houser is acting Co-Commissioner.

  1. This league will be broken out into 2 divisions (randomly selected before draft). Divisions will be randomly determined prior to the draft. Draft order will be drawn from a hat with at least three current members in attendance.

 

  1. Ties may occur during the regular season. Ties occurring during playoffs will be settled using Head-to-Head record (or overall points should H2H record be equal).

 

  1. Ongoing keeper league is in effect. Returning teams may choose to keep one player from their previous year’s Week 17 roster drafted in the 5th round or later (or undrafted if applicable) and existing on their roster at the conclusion of the season.  The keeper must be announced prior to the beginning of the draft. If a keeper is chosen, returning players must forfeit the round’s selection that player was taken in the previous year’s draft (eg. If Dennis chose to keep Ray Rice who was drafted in the 5th round the previous year, he would not receive a selection in this year’s 5th round as Ray Rice would be his selection). There will be no “extra round” following the 5th round for new players using this format.  A player kept during the previous year will not be an eligible keeper the following year.  If a player was picked up off the waiver wire, was on your final roster  and you want to use him as this year’s keeper, then that player gets inserted as your 16th round.

 

  1. Order of waivers will be determined using lowest-highest record (total points used should any records be equal). Waivers will remain open all season long. During the playoffs, waivers for teams in the playoffs will be processed before teams not in the playoffs. Sorting will be determined by seeding (record, overall points, head to head).

 

  1. Order of trades will be determined on a first come, first served basis. All trades must be approved by both parties. All trades will be reviewed and approved/denied at the discretion of the Commissioner. Trade deadline will occur after the completion of Week 10.

 

  1. The trading of future draft picks is allowed before and during the draft (applies to current years’ draft only).  Any trade taking place during the draft must be completed during the time allotted for that team’s draft selection.  Should time expire prior to the trade being completed, the trade will be null and the current team on the clock will be given the best player available (per RTSports).  Any trade of draft pick(s) may not result in any team yielding more than a 16 player roster.  These trades may include the trading of keepers (refer to Rule #3 for information regarding keeper eligibility.  (eg. Team 1 trades their keeper for Team 2’s Round 2 draft pick).  No fee for draft trades.

 

  1. All disputes/problems/issues will be settled as reasonably and fairly as possible by the Commissioner. Should a dispute involve the Commissioner, disputes/problems/issues will be handled by Co-Commissioner Scott Houser.

 

  1. Weekly schedules will be selected prior to Week 1 randomly by the website. Each team will play 2 games versus each division team and 1 game versus each non-division team during the regular season.

 

  1. Playoffs will consist of 6 teams in the following format:

                Playoff Week 1:                   Division #1 2nd Place vs. Division #1 3rd Place

                                                                Division #2 2nd Place vs. Division #2 3rd Place

                                                                Division #1 1st Place BYE and Division #2 1st Place BYE

Playoff Week 2:                   Winner Division #1 (2nd vs. 3rd) vs. Division #1 1st Place

                                                                Winner Division #2 (2nd vs. 3rd) vs. Division #2 1st Place

                Playoff Week 3:                   Division #1 Champion vs. Division #2 Champion

                                                                Division #1 Runner-up vs. Division #2 Runner-up

 

  1. $16 from each team will be placed into a pool to pay out the winners of the weekly props. Weekly winners will receive $10 for each prop won (split equally if there are ties). Below are the 16 weekly props.

 

  • Week 1 - Highest Team Point Total (starters only)
  • Week 2 - Highest Total Touchdowns (starters only)
  • Week 3 - Highest Total of Highest Scoring Start and Highest Scoring Bench Player
  • Week 4 - Largest Margin of Victory (starters only)
  • Week 5 - Lowest Team Point Total (starters only)
  • Week 6 - Largest Margin of Loss (prize to loser)
  • Week 7 - Highest Scoring Bench Player
  • Week 8 - Highest Scoring Running Back (starters only)
  • Week 9 - Highest Scoring Wide Receiver (starters only)
  • Week 10 - Longest Touchdown Run (starters only)
  • Week 11 - Highest Scoring Kicker (starters only)
  • Week 12 - Highest Scoring Defense (starters only)
  • Week 13 - Longest Field Goal Made (starters only)
  • Week 14 - Highest Scoring Quarterback (starters only)
  • Week 15 - Highest Scoring RB/WR Tandem (starters only)
  • Week 16 - Highest Scoring Player (starters only)
  • Week 17 - Longest Touchdown Throw (starters only)
  • Week 18 - N/A

 

  1. Week 18 - Teams may start any 10 players with no maximum limit at any position.
